Trident Fly Fishing

First level support is great, but talking to a general manager is terrible. Seems the GM follows a pre-determined script for her replies. Even implying that the issue is with the customer. Product and price seems great, but if this is the level of customer service to expect in the event of an issue, I'd rather shop elsewhere.

I was so impressed with the Trident team, online selection, and response time after my 5wt 10’ Scott Radian arrived earlier than expected I purchased a 9’ 7wt Meridian! Already broke in the 5wt, and taking them both to Driggs in a week to fish the South Fork & teton.

At the end of the day, I called in to get input regarding two rods. Ben was very knowledgeable and had experience casting both. Answered every question I had and though I had no real intention of ordering a rod when I called, 2 days later my B3X arrived (a day earlier than expected) and I couldn’t be more pleased. Great job everyone.

I bought these a size larger to wear with a pair of waist waders for late fall/winter kayak fishing. I am in and out of the boat a lot especially when up stream to do some fly fishing, or just to water a tree (so to speak). I have a pair of Simms G3 boots, and they are amazing, but also VERY HEAVY! Kind of like wearing anchors. I normally wear a size 12, but figured that with a pair of SmartWool socks and the booties from the waders i would need a size 13. They fit perfectly. I have had them out on the water 5 times already for a total of around 40 hours and they both very comfortable and practical. I have even started wearing the darn things all the time. Everyone thinks they are hiking or climbing shoes. To be honest, they work great for hiking, climbing, and when up to my backside in a stream. It will be interesting to see how long the Vibram soles last with the amount of use i am putting them thru. If they hold up, I am going to be buying another pair in size 12 for just walking around and general kayak fishing during the spring and summer.

I bought two rods from them on two different occasions. I found a better price for the first rod several days after I received it from Trident. I email Ben and he quickly refunded me the difference. The second rod I purchased, I found a better price from a different competitor. Again, Ben matched the price immediately.

Would recommend to anyone.

I was to purchase white round rubber legs by Hareline they turned out to be a muddy white almost light grey.
Will make them work,the reason I only ordered 1 was to see how close the color would be too what was offered.I would be reluctant to order them again.
