I called another store to inquire about the cost of front and rear brake pad and rotor replacements, you know to get a quote.. only to be told they won't know how much it will cost until I bring the car in. Ok so can I pop past with the car for the quote? No, they need to take the car apart to give the quote as the pads etc are all different sizes. Riiiight, so I should drop off my car and let them do my brakes with no agreed price??? That is illegal, all car services need to be quoted upfront as per ACCC law. They are dodgy and unprofessional and will be reporting to ACCC.

Please note if you going to call ultra tune roadside assistance, please make sure you have first appointment with workshop to get your car towed.

I was hesitant going back to Ultra Tune and instead took car to a Mitsubishi dealer for diagnosis. I was told the wrong oil was used and there was no history of valve clearance adjustment being carried out.
$1399 later my car is operating pre-Ultra Tune service.
Upon querying Ultra Tune head office I was told suitable oil was used.
Ultra Tune head office offered me $100 voucher toward next visit to Ultra tune. I chose not to accept.
Whatever was done at Ultra Tune will never be done again with my cars.

Day later shudder through brake pedal still there. Call ultra tune Stafford City a week later and get told it may be the back rotors that are the problem. My response was well why weren't the back rotors checked at same time as well as the front ones. No shudder through steering wheel etc so not wheel balance problem.
Ultra tune response 'well we found a problem with the front ones so we just replaced them, didn't take a look at the back rotors, we just assumed it was the front ones'. Also the staff gave me attitude it took me a week to call them to tell them about it that i should have brought my car straight back in. Well sometimes it isn't possible to pop back in a day later, sometimes due to family in hospital etc. I have no trust in them to do an honest and accurate assessment of my car. Clearly when you do a rush job at 2pm in the afternoon things get missed. Now i have to find another mechanic to check over their work and make sure the front brakes are done correctly and now the back rotors as well. At the time the car was being serviced and fixed i had the money if the back rotors needed to also be done. Not giving that company another $$.

Robin and the team at ultra tune a very meticulous and looking after your car all the little things that you don't think of
down to making sure your spare tire has the correct air pressure check
very thorough and all the expections have watched them do this without them knowing never in a rush.
rug up on a number of times if could squeeze me in for services rego check nothing is a problem for these guys

In 2017 I had to changed my timing chains after 9 years of driving the car to advise it was going to cost $4500 & now after exactly 2 years of replacing the timing chains the manger said I had to be replaced them again and the chains installed in 2017 are not covered under warranty. What a JOKE
The car was service in June 2018 and June 2019 to be told it is due to lack of maintenance on the vehicle, and that’s why the chains have failed. This is the most ridiculous excuse after my car has only been serviced by watergardens every 12 months according to their service dates sticker. I’m very angry and will be lodging a complaint with consumer affairs. I think it’s a good story for today tonite.
Highly recommend you stay away from this store.
The manger is only money hungry.

4 hours later I called back and the guy said he had received the message, and he would get to it later that day, or in the morning.
Explained I needed the car for work, hence the follow up.
The guy said he wouldn't be able to do the work straight away (which wasn't asked for, only a price), and then started to question me as to why the urgency.
Still don't have a price 1 week later, what a dick.

they lied to me and had car for a week heard every excuses under the sun how can you trust them to work on your car if your not sure they will do anything avoid at all costs
