Well it was easy to sign up but I didn’t like I didn’t know what I was going to pay until I already committed myself. Also I thought you’d send me my marriage certification right away the way I get a birth certificate. I must have entered on the wrong page and somehow bypassed all that information. Sorry. I’ll await the forms. Thank you

I thought the process was simple to follow, the only problem I had was inputting the year of my birth, even went back to edit it, but it still did not work, so if it delays the process, I,m stumpped. My birth year is 1948.













The process was very easy to follow, but every time I wanted to put in my birth year in, it would not take it. It let me continue to the end, tried to edit the birth year & it still would not take it. My birth year is 1948, just in case there is a problem. I am not very good on computers, so maybe it is just me.

Even though everything was correct on my paperwork, and Vital Records reported they had sent out my birth certificate, they were completely wrong. Instead of my birth certificate, they returned everything as they had some issue processing my card. Instead of returning everything, this SHOULD have, and could have, easily been rectified with a phone call, email, or even a fax. We shouldn’t have to rely on snail mail to communicate. Now I have to go back to a post office and resend the exact same thing and spend more money - unnecessarily. To top it off, my bank reports there is nothing wrong with my account and the information on my paperwork is still correct. This is unacceptable.

They did not provide any value. There was no warning that they were in no way affiliated with the official government division I needed. For a large fee they just mailed me the form available online; no time saved, no service provided.

Going in person is a quicker option, had you reached out to us we would have let you know that. Keep in mind, you would have had to wait in line, in a long queue for hours most times.
We provide a ready-to-use application package with instructions on the correct document to provide along, with a pre-paid and trackable envelope to make sure your application package and documents arrive at the destination.
We save you time trying to figure out confusing paperwork, and we make sure your application is error-free.
We hope we can make it up to you in the future.

This is a scam they do not even send you a birth certificate. They email you a useless application document. That is what your $50 gets you. Oh and if you ask for a refund even though they claim to have a customer Satisfaction policy, they will block your email. Save yourself the trouble and use vitalchek. They will actually send you a birth certificate. If you give me my money back I'll gladly change my review. My next message will be to the BBB.

Our site lists at the bottom of every page that we are not a government entity.
We do offer the best vital records document preparation service to get your vital records from the comfort of your home. If you are living in the state where the person on record was born, you will definitely get faster service by going to the state office but you will have to physically go there and spend time in line. With any online vital records service, your application will have to be mailed to the corresponding health department and each health department has its own processing time and state fees.

The ink came through leaking in the box and the ink was not usable. The delivery came with the soaked ink box put on a plastic bag as the leaking No. 45 Ink cartridge was spilling in everything around it. I have the box it was shipped in. False advertising leads the consumer to believe that by paying in excess of $100, one will receive his/her certificate within 24-48 hours. This does not include the cost of the mobile notary. The reality is that I’ve been waiting for my order > 30 days! When I called to speak with a manager they refused to discuss and would only provide an email to report my issue. I will be writing a review on Yelp so others do not fall prey to this scam.

I love it it’s amazing every other one I use I was forced to add my fathers name in there but I didn’t want to because it didn’t have it in the original. So it didn’t seem right to me. Also because he was never there till this day his not. I love how they let us have a chose.

It was suppose to be $15 to purchase a copy of my birth certificate they switched price after completion to $69 ,i will be contacting my bank first thing in morning to stop this draft this is not what I ordered .This is a rip off besides I can go to my local health unit get it for free just thought ease of ordering on line besides that's to long to wait I need it by 04/29/2020 to renew my drivers license.this will be cancelled.

This company really sucks. I live in CA, so I am forced to use them, everything must go online via them. I have ordered a marriage certificate; for 3 weeks NOTHING happened. I called them up , oh you should have sent back our form. What form?? Oh, you didn't get them?? NO!!!!!! Ok, I'll send it to you right now. Thank you. 3 weeks later. Stay away from these guys!!!!

I have requested for a copy of my marriage certificate and they have received it on 11/6/20. I had the impression that this service will expedite the process that’s why I paid $55. It is now Dec 18 over a month already and no marriage certificate . I called them 2X and each time, the representative gives different expectation for the time it will arrive. You are better of going directly to the state where the document was filed . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !

I ordered my CERTIFIED birth certificate online. I was charged $69.00. Also, I paid a $25.00 online notary fee. Today I received a form in the mail called. APPLICATION FOR CERTIFIED COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE $25.00 PER COPY. I’ve already paid $69.00 plus $25.00 notary fee.

I feel scammed. Will definitely check on this tomorrow. The number given is 844-218-4825.

It's a total scam. I paid $47 in August 2019. What you pay is not to have a birth certificate sent to your house; instead, you pay just to fill out a form to request a birth certificate, which you can do for free if you get the form from the real Vital Records. I e-mailed Customer Service to get my money back but they refused to do it. I disputed the charge through my credit card company and it was accepted. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

I mail this application from October and I am only getting this certificate now as of 1/15/2021. There was no telephone number for me to call to know whats happening. I am please to say back in December 2020 your company did write to say, You received My application and that it was being worked on. It seems that the delay was in a prior Department who charged me $49.00 plus 15.00 also to process this application.

The initial order request wasn't to complicated, however I didn't know I was paying $64.00 for a packet until after it asked for my credit card information and I clicked it for completion. I also don't understand why I need to pay to have my signature notarized then pay for the certificate when I've already paid $64.00 order the packet. This is a lot of money just for a certificate. I'm not very happy.

Pay attention, this site is only a 3rd party website. They are NOT VitalChek. I paid $69 for this awful company to send us a single form (for a birth certificate) to mail in to VitalChek. SIXTY-NINE DOLLARS for a form I could fill out online for $29! Biggest rip-off, and I probably can't get that money back. I thought I was on the right website because the names are similar enough.

They won’t let me give zero stars! This is a total scam and waste of time! Do NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I have ordered my son’s birth certificate several times as he keeps losing them. I went through this instead of normal service and it’s a joke! Normally I pay and fill out info I get certificate in mail. Nothing complicated. This is a ridiculous waste of time! They send you another application for the certificate you can just get yourself in 1/4 the time!
