Yowza fitness has the world's best elliptical machine! It is the best workout I have had with a like machine and I would highly recommend it. It is currently $500 off and they don't charge for shipping!

Purchased Daytona Treadmill in May 2012.

Delivery was a breeze. The delivery men put the treadmill in the basement exactly where I wanted it.

Assembling the upper section was no problem.

After using the tread mill for a few months I can say it is a solid treadmill. Pivot swing arm cushioning is great and after 40 minutes to an hour on the treadmill my ankles or legs are not sore. With my previous treadmill the hard platform used sometimes left me aching in the ankles or knees.

The display is easy to use and programming is convenient.

I will definitely consider Yowza my first choise when looking for another fitness item.

I recently purchased the Yowza Pompano and could not be happier. It was ordered on line so I did not have any experience with customer service. It only took about 7 days after ordering for it to arrive. My husband had no problem following the directions and getting it assembled.
I love how I can program it for my husbands age, weight, height, etc. as well as mine. And I really enjoy the swivel arm, it is a nice change from the usual back and forth motion.
Recently had a friend over to try it out and her comment was "This is a great machine, they do not have anything like this at the YMCA where I work out". I enjoy how it is quiet and seems to be so much more sturdy than my last elliptical.

I would recommend this product to all. I am very pleased with it.

Long story short it took over 5 weeks since submitting my warranty claim to simply have a belt put back on the elliptical which came off. Not to mention I had to threaten legal action to get Yowza to honor their warranty.

I submitted the warranty claim on Feb 19 indicating that the elliptical had no resistance. Feb 20 I receive some sort of automated email indicating a motor had been ordered. Received no email from a person. After a couple days went by, I had to call in to ask what was going on. John Simone answered the call and informed me that he had ordered a new resistance motor and that it would take about 1 week for me to receive the part and a technician would be scheduled to install it at that time. Okay, so I waited.

After a week came and went with no activity, emailed John to inquire on status. I asked whether there was a tracking number since I had not received one. I expressed my frustration with the delay, the warranty claim handling, and lack of keeping customer updated with status. No response.

After no email response, call and leave John a message. No response.

After about another week with no response, and after finding out Yowza has a F rating from BBB I called in to try and speak to Joe Atler. He is no longer the CEO. I wind up talking to Ashley Hall. About 3 weeks had gone by now and I am totally in the dark and received no motor or any communication from Yowza. Emails and calls are unanswered. After making up excuses that John is no longer with the company and that is why I haven't received updates (as if they have no other substitute personnel), Ashley (male) tries to convince me the console is the most likely cause of the lack of resistance of the elliptical. Ashley also used the excuse that they don't have a replacement resistance motor in stock (a common part) and claimed he had no indication on when they would receive one. I had expressed my frustration with the delay and lack of communication. Ashley apologized and rushed me off the phone so he could get the console shipped right away.

After 3 weeks of wait, Ashley decides to ship the part ground shipping and it takes another week to receive. I expressed my frustration that after all this waiting he should have sent it overnight or 2 days shipping. No response. Not to mention that Ashley requested me to install the part even though Yowza is obligated to have a technician repair it. Since it wasn't a big deal, I installed it. This did nothing. Still no resistance.

Emailed Ashley, left him a message. No reply. No call back. Completely unprofessional. I had to go out of my way and keep calling in to try to get a human on the phone. Their voice mailbox is full and not accepting messages. Finally get through to John Barbour. John refused to give me his last name on the phone by the way. Who knows why. I explained to John over a month had gone by. The new console did nothing. He tells me the motor is on a boat coming from Taiwan and it could take 30-45 days to receive. I explained that a reputable company needs to stock common replacement parts and the delay was unacceptable. I asked for my money back given my experience thus far.

John doesn't give me my money back. But does offer to allegedly remove a motor from another unit and send it to me. Did he rush it to me? No chance. He and Ashley who he consulted with decide to send the motor via ground shipping again. Keep in mind, this is a very tiny light weight motor in a small box weighing 0.8 pounds. It would have not been very expensive to at least 2-day the part. But Yowza being as cheap and nonchalant as they are, send the part via economy shipping and I wait another week to receive the part.

The technician calls me after only a couple days after the part was shipped. So he was ready. But we had to wait for snail pace Yowza shipping. Finally today the technician gets here and quickly determines the belt had come off. So the machine could have been repaired 5+ weeks ago had Yowza properly diagnosed the problem. They should have sent a technician initially to troubleshoot the issue, then send necessary parts and schedule a followup visit. But they try to save money by having the customer do some of the troubleshooting repair work, waste everyone's time and money with this shotgun repair approach.

The biggest hassle with all this is they do not bother to return emails or calls. It was only until I threatened to sue them that they finally decided to take me seriously. When I spoke to John with all my complaints, he says "you're not the only customer" which is an unbelievably insulting comment to make. They could care less about customer service. they're not going to stay in business long with this kind of attitude.

The machine is very jerky and made noises from day 1. The belt probably will come off again and I personally don't think it's worth the experience going through what I went through again to get warranty service. So it will go to the dump. Yowza is a joke.

I purchased the Osprey model treadmill online and the whole process was easy. Delivery was prompt and all communication was very thorough. Best part is the treadmill came 95% assembled and it has the best warranty I came across through my research.
So far I have used it for about 2 weeks and have really worked it hard at 10mph. No issues up to this point....is a quiet and smooth running treadmill.
I am a very satisfied customer and woud recommend this treadmill to anyone.

Ordered a Captiva Elliptical - ordering and delivery were fast and easy, putting it together took a bit of time (about 2 hours as expected from other reviews I read), but was pretty straight-forward given the way the hardware was packed.

Using the "core" design is easy to adapt to, but the reality of training your "core" only happens if you are focusing on it and using your core muscles - this machine does not do it for you and it is possible to do the arm movements without engaging the core.

As for the machine itself - it makes a clicking noise when you are using it - a little annoying. I assume these are the ball bearings in the mechanism. Music covers the noise, but if you plan to use it quietly, you will hear background noise. Also frustrating is that it is not possible to read while working out on this machine - no book ledge and the side to side movements would make this hard with the arms of the machine moving across the reading space. Bummer.

Hardest thing about using this elliptical is the computer interface. It's hard to figure out the programs and the resistance and stride length are not very straightforward. I do not believe the calorie counter reads accurately (I have to have burned more than 28 calories in 25 minutes worth of work!)

I enjoy my time on the Captiva and the workout I get and when I focus on my core, I do feel that it works it better than other ellipticals I've used, but this is for a self-driven workout. I've given up on using the computer to guide my workout - too tricky to figure out!

I live in Montreal, Canada, and I bought the Yowza Sebring treadmill after doing some research. I chose this model because of both good reviews and its folding capability. I ordered it online from the Yowza website. My treadmill was shipped the same day I ordered it, and I received it in 6 days. Assembling was very easy. The treadmill itself is already folded in the box and you need to only fasten some bolts. I was completely satisfied with everything, however there was a problem with the folding mechanism which needed to be fixed (I could use the treadmill the whole time). I posted the problem on their website a technician came to see the machine. Yowza kindly decided to replace it with another new treadmill. Again the new treadmill came in around 5-6 days (from Florida to Montreal, Canada). During this whole time I could use my treadmill and tested it as much as I could. It is a very nice, smooth, and strong machine. A similar machine will cost you more if you want to buy it in Canada. I have used it for 1 hour runs and have changed the incline angle and speed constantly during the run. The machine works perfect and smooth. I really enjoy using it. The support is very good. Yowza support manager (Ashley Hall) is very helpful if you have any problem. In case you have any problem with your machine just contact the support and they take care of it. I totally recommend this product.

Here are some points which you should know before ordering this machine:

1- The company is very fast in shipping the product. If you have not received a tracking # when you placed your order, contact them ASAP because you may receive it before you expect it.

2- They ship with UPS. Make sure have some people to help you because UPS is not responsible to bring the machine into your apartment.

3- It comes in one, heavy box. If you live in an apartment try to assemble it first, and then fold it and take it into the elevator and into your appartment. This way it is much easier.

I had a Precor elliptical for many years and was looking to replace it. I looked at a lot of brands and styles, and I did a lot of on-line and in-store research. I was intrigued by what I read about the Yowza ellipticals. Although Yowza ellipticals are not in stores, Yowza connected me with a person in my area who showed me her elliptical in her home. The Yowza salespeople were incredibly nice and helpful and the logistics of ordering were easy. I LOVE my Pompano. It gives me a much better workout than my old elliptical. The footpads are really comfortable, and you get a decent arms workout as well as a core and lower body workout. I highly recommend Yowza and the Pompano.

Ordering was a breeze, 5/5. Delivery was ok, but the unit was damaged in transit, 3/5. The responsiveness of staff in getting it fixed was excellent 5/5. The quality, design and work out are 10/5; The Yowza Captiva rocks. This machine can beat the ___ out of you. I have never liked ellipticals because I could never get my pulse up high enough (compared to a treadmill) and I was a skeptic. The Captiva exceeds expectations. It can exhaust you if you push yourself. The action is silky smooth and not jarring. The ability to get an upper body workout, core abdominal workout, lower body, and aerobics all at once is awesome! The stride length is excellent and I highly recommend the Captiva.

I have owned a Yowza Navarre elliptical for approximately two years now. It's a good machine, and I use it about five times a week. Originally it was whisper quiet as Yowza describes it, but recently a significant grinding and knocking noise began coming from the rear wheel assembly. I contacted Yowza service to have the problem resolved. They indicated that I was just outside of the two-year warranty period for in-home service, but they would send me the parts that needed to be replaced. After pleading my case, Josh was kind enough to reconsider, and he told me that Yowza would not only send the parts, but they would also dispatch a technician to repair the machine in my home.

I received the parts quickly and a technician was scheduled to come to my home right away. The technician arrived on time and was quick and efficient with the repair. The in-home service is a huge benefit, and I could not be happier with the service I received. Thank you, Josh and Yowza Fitness.

well we bought the sanabel i35 about two weeks ago and it was not up to our expectations at all, so that's no big deal ill just return it right? Well not really, we had to take apart the machine and then we had to pay for it to be shipped back! This may not seem all that bad but this machine was not easy to put together at all.I recomend you don't purchase any yowza fitness products and if you do don't plan on returning them. the costomer service person I spoke to was good though.

I started shopping for a new elliptical earlier in the year and had visited Yowza Fitness’ website on several occasions. Although I was initially leery of ordering online, their website was very informative, prices competitive and the payment process was extremely easy.

I received my Captiva Elliptical from Yowza Fitness earlier than the expected delivery date. The two men who came to assemble it were courteous, professional and done within an hour. Not only did they take the time to show me a lot of the basics of my new machine, they also moved my old elliptical to another room.

I have been using a leading competitor's elliptical for over six years and paid twice as much as my new Captiva cost. The workout on my new machine far exceeds what I had been doing for years and am already seeing a difference. I have had no issues with my Captiva, however, I feel confident it would be handled expeditiously and with the utmost professionalism.

On a scale of 1-5, 1 being low and 5 being high
Order experience and knowledge of our sales staff - 5/N/A, ordered on line/did not interact with staff

Delivery Experience - 5 - Through emails, we were kept informed about the delivery date. That was very helpful. I needed to find out an exact time frame, so called the delivery company. They were very friendly and told me when to expect the truck. It was delivered within the time frame we were told.

Quality and design of product - 4/ We just got it put together and it appears to be well built with a good design. We haven't used it yet, so we a unable to speak to the quality and design upon use.

Responsiveness of our staff with any other questions - N/A, We haven't had any questions yet.

The manual was very well written. At first it looks overwhelming, but once I took the time to study the graphics and read, it was all there. That is a real plus!

I recently received my Osprey treadmill from Yowza Fitness and couldn't be happier. I was somewhat apprehensive about ordering it without being able to see it first; but I researched it extensively online and decided it had the features I was looking for, without the bells and whistles that I knew I wouldn't use. The price was reasonable, so I called the company, asked a few questions, and ordered it over the phone. One of the main selling points was the ability of the treadmill to fold up; it will fit through my 30" doorway (a number of other "folding treadmills" would not). The controls are straightforward, and the unit is very sturdy and QUIET! The instruction booklet could be better, but my husband and I were able to put it together without a problem. Fair warning: the box it comes in is quite large and very heavy; fortunately, the UPS delivery person was a big help. I have it in a temporary location now, so my husband folds it up each day (something I would definitely not be able to do on my own, given the unit's weight); but once it gets moved to its permanent location it will stay down. All in all, I'm VERY satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Osprey!

Unfortunately, I had to send the Biscayne treadmill back which was a big hassle that I tried to avoid at all cost and this was the number one reason that I hesitated for months to buy it; However, I really had my hopes up very high for this equipment. I guess that seeing something online versus in reality can be misleading. I hate to say this cuz for the most part the folks at Yowza were good folks, but the Biscayne treadmill is made of a very low grade/cheap plastic toy like material. Not only the console, but the entire treadmill shook violently whenever I went past 5.0 of speed. It felt as if the room in my house was going to cave in whenever I used the thing and I am only 5'6 and 152lbs. The design is just not built for those who enjoy running and are accustomed to top notch equipment. If this is your first treadmill, or you've never experienced top notch treadmills, and you don't run, you will not know the difference so it might be a good buy for you. However, I regret that i bought it and had to pay a hefty fee to ship it back, because I've never been on anything so low grade in quality. I will say that Yowza customer service was ok. In conclusion, without a doubt, a treadmill or equipment of this nature needs to be tested in person by the perspective user or only buy from a company that will foot the bill and come get the equipment if you have to return it cuz lord knows you never want to have the burden of packing up, loading and shipping something like this. It was a nightmare, but a lesson learned

I bought a YOWZA product 1 year ago. The unit has been broken pretty much for the 1 year that I have owned it. It was damaged in shipment, and never resolved. The repairmen that came initially said he had never seen an issue like this. But I now own it. It has marks all over it and missing pieces still.

I would NEVER recommend anyone buy from this company. They now ignore my emails and requests while the product is still broken. What a mistake buying from an online company like this....
