I placed an order for Cape Aloe capsules on June 30th, 2010. My credit card was charged that same day and I received an order confrimation email stating that the order had been received and that the charge was placed upon my account. According to the website at the time of purchase, the item was available and would be to me in an average of 4-10 business days. Three weeks passed and we heard nothing about this order. Meanwhile, my husband has been suffering with IBS symptoms that only this product seems to relieve. I finally called Zooscape and was told by the young woman I spoke to that the item was actually out of stock and that she would research the order and send me an email letting us know what the status was. Several hours later I decided to call back as I had not heard anything. I spoke to a different woman who then gave me the same story. I mentioned that most companies DO NOT charge you for items that are out of stock or are backordered expressly to avoid charging people for items they would not receive. I also asked why no one in the company had bothered to inform us that the item was not available and that it had not shipped. The representative promised me we would receive a reply email within 2 business days. Two days later we received an email promising us that the item was being expedited and that we would receive a refund for the shipping charge for the inconvenience. A week later (July 29th) we still had not seen the item or the refund. My husband called the company to find out why. The phone was answered by a woman who claimed she was the only one in the office and the only thing she could tell us was that the item was still out of stock and still had not been sent. She then proceeded to tell my husband that she would have to pass this issue to someone else but, of course, there was no one to pass it to since she was alone and we would hear back from someone on Friday, July 30th. Today is Saturday, July 31st. We never heard back from anyone at Zooscape regarding this item or refund. The item still shows that is available for order and nothing on their webpage indicates that the item is out of stock or currently on back order. I left a terse voicemail with regards to the poor handling of the order and questioning the outright lying the company has done. After reading these reviews, I don't expect to receive a response. The bottom line is that the Zooscape still has my money and I have no product. We were first time customers to this company and they have shown us nothing but sleaziness and deceit. I cringe to think this company has my credit card information. If you are considering doing business with them, I say caveat emptor. You have been warned. My final say is that if I have not seen this satisfactorily resolved in the next five business days I will report them to the BBB. EDIT: 8/3/10 - I called this company again today to find out what was going on. I talked to a rep who acknowledged that the company had received my voicemail but didn't bother to call me back. She also said item was still out of stock and there were no refunds in the system for me. I asked to speak to a manager and was once again informed that she was the ONLY PERSON IN THE OFFICE. When I asked if they were a one man operation I was told that all the other people had gone on a "vacation". She was flippant and rude. She asked, "So do you want a refund or what?". Yes! I want a refund! A full refund and immediately. She told me she put the refund in and I "should see it right away". I know that's not how things work in mail order so I asked her how long it would take. She tells me that she put it in the system and that accounts receivable would "get to it" and process the refund. I clarified, "So, whenever someone gets back from vacation to handle this, I should see the refund?" and she said, "Yes". I asked her if there was any way she could tell me how long refunds take once accounts receivable has processed it. She couldn't. This company is a sleazy joke. Steer clear. If you can't, you may be learning an expensive lesson. REBUTTAL TO RESPONSE 8/9/10: The popularity of the product and the difficulty in obtaining it are irrelevant. How you've handled the order and the issues stemming from these facts are what matters. Your representative (Adriana) did not miscommunicate with honest intentions when she stated in plain English that the order was being shipped that day and the refund for shipping was being processed. The fact is the order NEVER shipped and a refund was NEVER processed. Your company should NEVER have charged for an item that was out of stock with no known ETA nor should it continue to advertise said item as in stock and available TO THIS DAY. I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN A CREDIT TO MY ACCOUNT. I have to say I find it incredible that you would even think that I would consider re-ordering Cape Aloe - or ANYTHING - from your company after the way this has been handled. Shame on you! Try legitimate business practices like not charging for items not shipped and staffing your office to handle your customer service issues! What kind of business allows the majority of their staff to vacation leaving ONE person to handle the business? Answer: NONE!

I didn't get my order of tea, payed $77, when you call their "customer service" number, NO ONE answers EVER! They have not returned my calls e-mails or anything, I will never order from this "co." again. Amazon, why do you even bother to allow these geeks on your service, maybe I need to stop shopping AMAZON too!!

Today is 12/30/11. I have not receive this order or my refund. ordered on 11/30/11, contacted cutomer service by email on 12/2/11 regarding when this order will be shipped. No reply until I emailed again on 12/15/11 and asked if this is a internet fraud? got an out of stock reply. emailed again on 12/16/11 to cancel this order and wanted a refund. Not hear from them since. Not a ethical company/website.

Excellent service and shipping

I placed my order on their web site in the morning on Sat. Jan. 8 and my order arrived by the evening of Tues. Jan. 11. That is really fast! My order was exactly what I ordered.

I am quite pleased with Zooscape. Without a doubt, I will be ordering from Zooscape again.

Recommended.

I Am a salon owner and I ordered 5 male mannequin heads from zooscape on May 7th. I checked the website and it said my order would ship within 7 to 12 business days. I waited 14 business days before I called and left a message. A week later I got an e-mail asking how I was liking my purchase. I then called since our cutting class had come and gone, with no mannequin heads. I was told our order was backordered. I found it interesting that no one from the company would bother telling me this at time of purchase. I was told I could receive a 50% refund now because half of my order had shipped, and the other 50% when I returned the half that shipped. Well here it is almost 3 months since my first order, 10 e-mails, tons of time wasted in limbo when I call(and never speak to a live person). They have never given me my refund. They have never informed me how to return the other half of my order. I'm thinking about involving my attorney. I am not a difficult person, I have never written a bad review EVER. I am too busy to care that much. I have never been given more of a run around or been ignored as much as I have from this company! I will get my refund even if I spend more in legal fees doing it. Just to prove a point! Never purchase anything from this company!

Easy website and quick delivery

We are buying from Zooscape for longer than 2 years. We never have any problems with them. All we are buying from them are better prices than anywhere else. We usualy get our box in less than 1 week. We will keep ordering as usual.

Zooscape took 28.00 from my account November 4th. The item still hasn't shipped. It has been 23 days since I placed this order on November 1st and I have received no communication from them. I'm shopping Amazon in the future. Amazon allows customers to cancel their orders online ESPECIALLY when the order didn't ship.

I purchased 4 products through Zooscape on January 16, 2010. Over 4 weeks goes by without any notification that 3 of the products are not in stock or that the one item in stock is being shipped to me earlier.

After a round of phone calls and emails which I had to initiate and follow-up on, I am finally submitting this review and a billing dispute to my credit card company to resolve the refund.

The second woman in customer service who I spoke to (because the first one never followed up with an email as she promised she would) said she would issue me a full refund. However, she has not sent me any confirmation of when that will be nor have I seen the amount credited to my card yet. This was over a week ago.

Overall, terrible service. I will never order from this company again. And I hope this review helps others do the same.

What a horrible company, we placed our order on Dec 1st, waited weeks, and still have not received anything as of Dec 22nd... It took over 20 calls to get a live body on the phone. We emailed the CEO "Cary James Heather" and NEVER received a response. We have had to dispute this transaction with our bank as a result of the lack of customer service. I begin to wonder if this is really a company or just a front!! Horrible customer service, we will NEVER order from them again...

Below is just one of the emails we sent them: (We never received a response to any of our emails requesting updates on our order)

I have yet to receive this shipment even after you stated you shipped it priority mail after waiting weeks for the order to get partially processed.

I will be placing a stop payment on this transaction as soon as I finish writing this email. If/when I do receive this order, I will be promptly returning the merchandise without opening the package. I request you issue me a refund within the next 24 hours. DO NOT ship the Chamomile as stated below.

I will also be placing reviews online informing others of my experience.

Please confirm you received this email (your prompt response, or lack of, will be proof of how you value your customers experience.)

No communication from zooscape letting me know 1 of my 2 items was unavailable. So after 30 days I finally received my first item but not my second. I have requested a cancellation of the unshipped order. How did I know it was not available? I called them.

*No communication *Poor customer service *failure to meet client needs.

I ordered a vitamin supplement from Zooscape recently. I want to return the unopened package for a refund. According to their website, you have to call or e-mail them for a return postal code to return the product. I did call them. The phone rung about 5 times, then a machine picks up where this guy says: all our customer service reps are busy right now, leave a message, and we will get back to you asap. I left a message. Nobody ever called me back. I kept calling, and even sent them e-mails. I haven't heard anything from them. They just took my money! I doubt I'll ever get it back. I can't believe Walmart & Amazon sells their stuff! Awful company to treat customers like this. All I want is to return a product and get my money back. I will NEVER order anything else from them nor would I recommend anyone else ordering from this company!

Took entirely too long to receive order,bounced from NJ to Del. to VA,back to Del. then to Rochester,NY finally to me.. I opened the package and product was missing security seal outside of bottle, opened bottle and security seal was missing from inside bottle,, called customer service twice to see what they were going to do,, it is the 4th day and they haven't called me yet....I would not if your thinking of buying anything from these people spend one red cent here...................

Placed an order 2/27 and paid $9 for the top notch deliver of 2 - 7 business days. The item still hasn't arrived and I have sent e-mails and made phone calls to the bogus phone system.

I am one person who hates negative reviews and believe there is value in everything, but if a company doesn't deliver your items in a reasonable time and avoids their customers, there is a serious issue.

Oh and it has been marked shipped since 2/29.

I had ordered the Schizandra Tea,and when it arrived which took a while when i opened it it had a bunch of loose berries in the bag,it was supposed to be 25 tea bags and 10 of them were empty bags,when i used the the bags that werent broke they opened into the cup as it steeped,i am not impressed with the product and probably will not order from them again,as the product was definately defective.
