DO NOT USE – Dishonest, Predatory Business Practices, Coercive, False Advertising

Made purchase Sept 3rd -order 9176497. Order was for powered recliner loveseats and single recliners. Site indicated based on zip code delivery would take place 1-2 weeks. After placing order and company taking funds, I received a call where was notified none of my powered furniture could use power features without an additional $800 purchase. I paid this and moved on. It took several weeks to get est delivery date which at one point was a month out. Once could schedule actual delivery was set for 2 months after purchase. Main issue is predatory business practices in fact they claim a est delivery time but informed of real delivery time well past the 24 hour mark. You only have 24 hours to cancel a order for full refund. If done after that the fee is 15% +$1.75/lb which makes it so expensive you can’t and are locked in. They do not advertise that delivery can take 4x or more time they give you at time of purchase. They also don't list real price which is to make sure goods can be used for intended purpose. They then intentionally miss inform you so you can’t cancel in the 24 hour window to get full refund (i.e. knowing realistic delivery window or total cost to ensure goods work as indented). The company uses false advertisement, coercive business practices

Ordered furniture from this company over a month ago. Still no update on when my furniture will be delivered after multiple calls and emails. Each time I speak to them I am told that it's been shipped and that they can't give me any more information than that. I would never buy from this company again, this is been the most frustrating purchase that I've ever made in my 58 years online. Look elsewhere!

**THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE ALL FAKE** FRAUD COMPANY 🚨 ** BUYER BEWARE 🚨 ** This company and it's "employees" are equivalent to a pile of dung sitting in a toilet bowl! They are disgusting people, they will lie and steal your money. They will tell you your order is processing, and now its magically on a freight THAT IS UNTRACEABLE. The information they provide is scripted, and they lead you to believe your order is heading to a local hub - but when you're able to pull more info out of these people, this hub will have no data or eta on your order. THEY DO THIS because THEY know the customer will decide enough is enough and request to cancel. But, alas, you can't. Because they'll revert to their script and claim it's "on a freight we cant cancel your order without charging you THEY will NOW double - triple charge you for restocking and weight fees. IT IS HOW they make their money. They use fake names, and copied and pasted email messages. They will send useless freight data, and will make sure that you do not get your goods ordered, in addition to a full refund. The owner's name is fake; the company is listed under Payless Furniture Inc. New York in which this owner has had several other online registered / closed because hes a *** scam artist. RUN DO NOT WALK YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE TRUTH AS THE 5 REVIEWS are FAKE!!! I hope this place GOES DOWN IN FLAMES and these scammers are held accountable!!

We paid $1529.11 for a Baudouin Weather Oak King Upholstered Panel Bed, and it arrived so badly damaged that they couldn't even assemble it. We immediately returned it, and they refunded us only $642.74. That means that our experience with 1stopbedrooms cost us $887.37.

Before you purchase from 1stopbedroom, carefully review their return policy, which is here: https://www.1stopbedrooms.com/return-policy/

There is a 15% restocking fee, plus return shipping fees of $1.75 per pound.

Be aware that this return policy apparently applies EVEN IF THE FURNITURE IS BADLY DAMAGED. It's not just if you change your mind or something.

1stopbedroom did not dispute how badly damaged the bed was, neither the delivery people, nor customer service. They did offer a replacement, but we weren't in a position to accept that.

Here's the breakdown directly from them:
Total Amount Paid: $1529.11
Return Shipping Fee: (148 lbs x $1.75)= $259.00
Restocking Fee 15%: $229.37
Total Refund: $1040.74

The refund took 11 weeks, and still came up short of that quote:
Actual Refund: $642.74
Unknown Fee: $398.00 (They never explained this)

Total Cost to us: $887.37

This was especially heartbreaking to us because it was a generous wedding gift from my parents. They worked hard for that money and really wanted us to be happy, and now we're so embarrassed.

Carefully review their return policy, and be aware of this risk. Even if the furniture arrives badly damaged, don't expect a full refund!

I found just what I was looking for at 1StopBedrooms. The quality and price and delivery were wonderful. If you are looking for living room furniture, my experience was awesome and I would recommend shopping here.

Slimy. Placed order with a nice customer service gentleman via phone on 4/22/2020. Was verbally told 2-3 weeks for delivery. I suppose this was my first mistake - a verbal convo. 3 weeks later the order hasn't even been acknowledged! New ETA now June 15, which no one even notified me of! I contacted customer service and was told there would be a 15% cancellation fee (which I was never told about over the phone). How is there a cancellation fee on something THAT HASN'T EVEN BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED!? There's nothing to restock, nothing shipped. This is robbery in my opinion and poor service as the company is taking longer than the ETA to even acknowledge my order. Now they are trying to charge me a restocking fee because the item FINALLY shipped AFTER I requested a refund.. So they are trying to refund me $471 on a $1,285 purchase.. SERIOUSLY?
Save your time and money on this company, and shop elsewhere!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. They tell you it’s free delivery then email you to say you are not in their delivery zone then scam you out of $200 or more. After that they email you to say they don’t have your item in stock and it will take 3 and a half months to get to you and if you cancel there will be a cancellation fee which they calculate per pound. Whenever you call to speak to their very rude staff they put you on hold for more than 2 hours. It is sad I have t be writing this review without getting my products oh and when you cancel you don’t get back your money they wait until forever to process it. Please guys read reviews before purchasing from these online stores . They seem like scammers to me.

What a awful experience! I ordered a bedroom set through this company and have gone through hoops. I ordered my sons bedroom set and 2 weeks later I get a text message that I need to call this number. I called and they said I was out of their "delivery zone." Okay, so why wasn't I notified I wasn't in the "delivery zone" when I placed my order? Makes no sense to me. I asked for a refund and to cancel my order and they told me how I wasn't going to be able to find the same bedroom set elsewhere for their price with delivery and I could pay the extra $249 for them to deliver. I found the same bedroom set for $10 more somewhere else and they deliver for free. They canceled my order and told me my refund would be posted back in my account in 72 business hours. So no big deal. A week later still no refund. I called back yesterday (over a week later) and they clam the order was never canceled. I'm beyond pissed at this point. She claimed to cancel my order and I would receive a email saying the ordered was canceled. Would you guess, I NEVER RECEIVED THE EMAIL! So now I am super frustrated! I call back today. Sorry, sweetie. I don't see where your order has been canceled. REALLY?!?!?!? I know asked to speak with the manger that cancels these orders because I'm done with this! I have been waiting for this refund to order my sons new bedroom set. Very horrible customer service! I asked to speak with a manger and the lady I was speaking to hung up the phone on me. I will never order anything ever again from this company. They should be ashamed of themselves! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered an ottoman on 5/1 that showed in stock and delivery date within 2 weeks. I confirmed via phone this was correct. It is now 5/18 and it still shows processing and not shipped and new ship date mid-June. When I try to call their customer service number and select an option it doesn't go anywhere, just continues message.

They have shady business practices. They brag about free white glove delivery and then stick you with a large delivery fee. I will see if I ever get the furniture. My guess is they do not have it and it will take months. My bad for not doing my research, but this is their MO.

I purchased a headboard with the free delivery and after the order was placed. They told me it was going to cost $249 for the delivery because it goes outside their delivery. I asked for a refund and the guy put in for a refund with an email confirmation and 4 days later I am still waiting for my $647. No one will respond back or answer their phone. I feel like they took my money and ran.
