I bought an item for $42. When it was being shipped, DHL (the courier they hired) said that I have to pay $21 for "customs". I decided that I want to return and get a refund. But their return policy is that I have to pay to ship the item back to China. And that they won't refund the money that their courier charged me. So basically, I have to spend a considerable amount of money to get a refund of $42. All this after I already spent $62. Not worth dealing with this shady company in China. Their website looks legit but there are a lot of fine print you have to carefully read.

Ordered a range of bedroom furniture and a mattress. We were assured that all goods would be delivered within 3-4 weeks. Four weeks passed, we heard nothing - so visited the Derby Store. We were advised that they couldn't locate a delivery date on our purchase which was unusual but they couldn't resolve the matter in store as the warehouse was closed (this was Friday about 3 o'clock). We were advised that they would contact the warehouse Monday morning and call us to update. We received no phone call back. I then contacted the Central line on the Tuesday. The Customer Service team advised that the furniture was in stock but the mattress hadn't arrived yet. They said they would call the Supplier and request that the mattress would be put on there next delivery. The customer service contact said she would then call me back to confirm the delivery date. Thursday we received no phone call back. Thursday I rang the extension number I was provided, a colleague picked up the call and advised that she couldn't resolve the matter and that I would need to wait until her colleague was back in the office. I asked for her to call me. Friday lunch time, I received a call advising that they wouldn't be able to get the mattress for at least another two weeks. They asked if they should deliver the other items, which would have been irrelevant as we had ordered a bed to go alongside the mattress. I then asked if they could arrange for another similar mattress to replace that one, so we didn't need to wait another two weeks. The point of contact said she would find out what was in stock and see what she could do. Monday received a voicemail that they didn't have another other mattress' in stock. So I spoke to the advisor on Tuesday. They offered no compensation and simply advised the earliest they could deliver would be at least 14 days. I asked to cancel the mattress and for a delivery of the good this week. They said that the vans were full and they would even without the mattress only be able to deliver in 14 days. Very disappointed. The goods have still not arrived. Would not recommend or use again. Would not recommend pay in full before you have a guarantied delivery date.

Ordered a patio set which consisted of 2 chairs , loveseat and table . Only received 2 chairs . After almost a month was told the only way to resolve it was for Overstock to ship a complete 2nd set , Pull the items we were missing and return the extra pieces . 2nd shipment came and only consisted of 2 chairs again . After reaching out to Overstock the loveseat and table showed up almost 2 weeks later in a badly damaged box . While in the process of assembling the loveseat there was missing hardware . Reached out again and no response . Filled out missing parts form and included picture, no response . Purchase parts from our hardware store and now I have to box up the duplicate chairs and return them . I’m done with Overstock to say the least . No one made an attempt to try to rectify the problem but just continued to send emails to appease me .

I have been waiting for my order since 25/4/20 it is now 5/6/20 and every email I send to Jacqui is never answered adequately, I have requested a telephone call from a member of the management team but even that has not happened. Why do you sell wallpaper if you do not have it in stock? Why is it impossible to answer when am I going to receive my order? What a strange way to run a business, sell wallpaper you don't stock, take people's money for wallpaper you do not have and final ignore the customers question as to when they are likely to receive their order. I am dismayed at the lack of customer service. Not to mention been ignored when I have asked to speak to a member of management. 6 weeks on I still have no answer!

Had a bed come damaged. After numerous email trying to sort, they agreed to send new part, which could take 3 weeks, as per there terms of sale. Now over 40 days have passed, the customer service couldnt care anyless and are apsolutaly discusting, wont offer anymore help but are happy for me to try claim for the bed through credit card insurance or a bank chargeback. Should these fail for any reason i will go through a small claims court.

Ordered London bus bed for little boy and a couple of mattresses. Came damaged. The replacement part send out the next week also damaged. Part received for a 3rd time - damaged. Customer services a nightmare telling me to contact supplier. Phone call after to phone call between supplier and the Children’s bed shop. My little boy had to sleep on one of the mattresses for 3 weeks on the floor until a refund was issued. To add they wouldn’t even as compensation let me keep one of mattresses I was forced to open to give me 4 year old a bed to kip on..! Don’t disappoint your children with this substandard company. They tried to blame he supplied Julian Bowen who make the bed. Ultimately it was the bed shops responsibility. They didn’t have any issues taking the money, that part of the deal was fine..! We bought a Gela Sofa and Snuggler. Lovely look but flimsy build standard - and not what I'm used to from Ercol. After a few weeks use it became evident that the Snuggler has no postural support at all, and I developed back pain. Ercol and the retailer have refused to take it back as I was outside their respective returns policy windows... I Strongly advise you to avoid this product range.

We bought an Ercol Novara Snuggler from Furniture Village and after a couple of months the seat and back cushions were sagging badly such that the Snuggler looked old and worn. We complained to Furniture Village who arranged for inspections to be carried out, one by Ecomaster and the other by Homeserve; both reported that there was “no manufacturing fault” and that the problem was due to “natural settlement”. They simply ignored the actual appearance of the seat! In our view this “natural settlement” was not acceptable so we arranged for two independent inspections which confirmed that the cushion interiors were inadequate and had thus failed, i.e. that it was in fact a manufacturing fault. As Furniture Village proved to be of no help, we are now pursuing this issue with Ercol themselves but in the meantime, we would not recommend that anyone buys a Snuggler

The house is nice and clean. The fact that each of the bedrooms has its own bathroom is very convenient. We were disappointed in the pool table. It is not a full sized pool table or even a bar size table. It is very small and wobbly. Additionally it is so close to the walls that you can only shoot from the ends. Also disappointed in the kitchen table. It is built into the wall which means that it cannot be moved out to use 4 sides. Therefore, games such as cards, dominoes, etc are prohibited. The mattress in the king sized room is very hard. So, if you prefer an extremely firm mattress, you'll be comfortable.

Was told by a member of Barnstaple staff that the items I wanted were in stock in Wales , delivery could be made in 3 or in maximum of 4 weeks , this I agreed to , paid a deposit and left the shop , after two weeks checking with shop re delivery was told "Items not in stock in a container somewhere at sea" The clearly lied , also on their invoice it does say which I never noticed delivery in 4-6 weeks , plus a 20% cancellation charge comes into force after 24 hours , they have clearly lied and have broken a verbal contract and are refusing a refund , The matter will be placed in the hands of my Solicitor , NEVER USE THIS COMPANY !

Fraudsters!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. CUSTOMER SUPPORT NOT EXISTING (they don't answer emails or phone calls) I've returned the items weeks ago and still no refund. If there was a ‘0’ star it would get it. This is the worst company and customer service I’ve ever encountered. Ordered the sofa because it was ex-display and advertised 2 week delivery time. 5 week delay on the 2 week promise - so far!! 3 no-show deliveries. Paid money in full. They damaged the sofa in their warehouse so it didn’t make it onto the delivery van. No contact from them. It was the delivery driver that called and said he had my paperwork but no sofa on his van. Was about to ask for money back but they miraculously found me another one and arranged for it to be delivered the next week. No show again, no contact. Third delivery date has been and gone today. Each time I’ve had an email with a specific time slot but I honestly believe they have no idea where my sofa is or when they will deliver it to me. Called over 8 times. Each time with an hour’s wait on the phone. Been to store 3 times. They are not empowered to help you at all! So stressful and absolute shambolic system they have. Would never recommend to anyone.

Hi We bought an ex display sėt that We were told will be checked over and come to us as new, when it came the foot stool was broken hinges falling off and gas struts bent , told them and they said as it’s ex display you can’t have a replacement just £50 quid back or a repair , as I am a joiner it’s not repairable so looking further at the quality decided to ask for refund , so no probe they took it back , but as we don’t look at our front door very much or use it the delivery drivers smashed the shapeless foil of my white pvc doors , so watched the next chaps who came to collect and they were fine , we excepted £150 for the damage just to say bye bye , then 3 weeks later the first payment of finance has come out , so now chasing for a refund for furniture returned, looking back at our experience with the actual store when we bought it should have warned us away , as the sales person agreed a cost with us then when we got to the till to pay the cost went up over £200 , so we ended up walking out and buying it direct on line instead and got it for the cheaper price, I would say stay away as the quality does not look good ,

Ordered a bed in October. Turned out to have a faulty footboard. Contacted F&B customer service who said the whole bed needed to be replaced (not sure why they couldn’t just send a replacement part). Several weeks later and still no new bed - old one sitting in bits taking up space. Arrow - who F&B use for delivery - seem completely incompetent. Several emails a day confirming and then cancelling drop offs of the new bed and pick ups of the old one, including six emails yesterday contradicting each other. One email confirming a drop off was 5 minutes after one cancelling the same drop off. Needless to say, no one turned up. F&B customer service have been useless - never call back with updates and seem to have no influence over Arrow. Have started the process of getting a refund via credit card company. Don’t buy from these clowns.

I purchased a dog bed that was to be have a "donut" style bed for our little puppies. One that will cuddle around them and they can sink down into it. It didn't come as expected at all. It was not round as shown in the picture - it was oval. It was so solid it was nothing more than a regular dog bed - which I believe it was. I sent it back. The original cost was $62.10, including shipping. Once returned they only credited me $36.80 as I now have to pay for shipping both ways. As it was not as expected I don't feel I should have been charged shipping both ways. I also believe when I called to get shipping label, I should have been told this. Have no intentions to ever shop with them again.

My bed slats didn’t arrive. I did not realise until I’d taken down their old bed and started building the new one. I could not get hold of anyone to request new slats so I had to buy a new bed from elsewhere. I am now waiting for some contact to arrange for them to collect the old one as my children couldn’t use their room. Absolutely shocking, save your money. Ordered a £350 coffee table to receive a shoddy piece of furniture from them. Absolutely awful, wouldn't have paid £50 for it. Contacted them to return and the earliest collection date they could organise was in 20 days! Collection date arrived, I was out so left the parcel out front for the driver. When I returned home the parcel was still there. Checked video footage and the driver had got out of his van, scanned the item and then left without collecting the item. No phone call from the driver, no refund and I still have a great big parcel and am out of pocket £350. Husband called Dwell today to find out what had happened, they apologized and said they could collect until after Christmas. This is simply not good enough, we could have couriered the item back to them 20 days ago and have our money back in time for Christmas. Thanks for nothing Dwell and Richard in customer service who wasn't prepared to go any extra distance to sort this.

The WORST experience ever with Dwell. Had to take 5 days off work for one delivery, which is still missing an item, and we ordered 8 months ago! Absolute joke. Nobody is helpful at all and there has just been issue after issue with everything. First they delayed my delivery because of unexpected change in delivery companies to Wincanton, therefore voiding my original delivery date. They then decided to book in another delivery date 2 weeks after and they show up to inform us that the sofa won't fit through the door (not asking us to measure or how big our flat is prior). They then decided to take back the sofa and we reordered a smaller one, this came but didn't come with our original order which was 4 dining chairs and a foot stool (which was the original order already). I called into customer services to find out they had messed up the delivery AGAIN and the chairs and stool were out of stock and expected within 11 weeks!!!!! This was after having waited 8 months for a delivery slow. The expected stock came within 5 weeks and I was told I would be informed of the delivery, which I was not. The delivery came when I wasn't at the flat and we had to arrange another delivery time. The delivery time was arranged for Tuesday and when speaking to the delivery company on Tuesday they had no recollection of our order. I then call back Dwell to ask where our order is and they have put the wrong address. Now being informed that my deliver is scheduled for the next day, again having to take ANOTHER day off work for the chairs and foot stool. The delivery came, and only the chairs have arrived and no foot stool. I'm sick and tired of the back and forth with this company. Numerous phone calls to find our where everything is, I was assured that everything was in order and would be delivered on time. Clearly not, probably the worst company I've ever had to deal with. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM DWELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My home was destroyed after Hurricane Sandy and I needed to purchase furniture for the entire downstairs. I ended up buying it all at Raymour and Flanigan in Carle Place, NY, order# 03043H5GIPF, dated 3/04/13. The salesman suggested using their special 60 month financing through Wells Fargo which I took advantage of. He confirmed and explained that monthly payments were not necessary and as long as the loan was paid in full by the 60th month, it would be considered current and paid in full. I question him again and he said with 100% certainty that these are the terms. For 57 of the 60 months I made monthly payments anyway as it was easier for me. Three times I sent payments in late. The loan is now satisfied. This summer I applied for a loan and had issues getting approved because of those three late payments. I contacted Raymour and Flannigan CEO's office and three times left a message with his assistant and she never returned my call. Out of frustration I then contacted the manager of the credit department who said prior to my purchase they did offer those types of terms, but not anymore and the salesman's was incorrect in telling me that. I then ask for a letter from the credit manager explaining this was the reason my payments were late to forward to Wells Fargo. My hopes were Wells Fargo would change their reporting to the credit bureaus. The manger agreed to send it. When I followed up I was then told he didn't believe me and wouldn't write the letter. If their team isn't responsive, honest and doesn't convey accurate information to customers than why do business with them?? Would never buy from them again!

Order promised 3 days or less. It took two weeks only after I called them. Furniture assembled damaged and drivers never disclosed the damage. I had to call to get an exchange and they sent a repair guy instead to spray paint my new dining room set. I highly recommend not buying their over priced junkie furniture.

Can’t remember having a worse customer experience. Ordered three matching items 3 months ago. One wasn’t in stock but was due to be in 4 weeks, so I asked if they could deliver other 2. They never said it wasn’t their policy to do so, they just did it. After several e-mails informing me of delay after delay for the third item, I gave up and asked them To collect the two items I’d already received and issue a full refund. They will only refund the outstanding item as I’ve had the other 2 longer than their returns policy allows, despite it being their fault, that I’ve waited so long. Terrible customer service. Complete farce of a company. I will never use this company again and do not recommend them.

This was the worst experience shopping online ever and I have bought a lot of furniture online without having any problems . The items shown on their web site as dining chairs in violet was presented as a dark violet- purple colour ,the chairs I received was totally different -bright violet . The customer service is just horrid- they refused to pick up the goods , they insisted that the goods were the same on the web site as what we received. Furthermore the quality is rubbish .

We chose to buy a large winged chair, after selecting the required material we were told that delivery would not be until the end of January 2018. As we needed the chair before Christmas , the lady who was dealing with us bent over backwards to help us , she has managed to have it deliverd to us now before Christmas, we definitely recommend Arthur Llewellyn Jenkins and thank Kath "the sales lady"for all her effort.. Previously have had good service from Dunelm, however recently at the Greenford store, which I have been to three times in the last 6 weeks, i have not had a great experience with staff, especially at the tills. Returned blind that was not opening properly and rightly expected to explain to the store what was wrong. However, I was made to feel like I was returning the blind due to not liking it, despite asking for an exact replacement, which they did not have. I then was told how the blind worked, as if I was thick, and it was probably me. 20mins this went on for, the queue behind was gathering as I was taking up one of only two open tills. Finally I was allowed to return the blind and selected a similar replacement at a further £30 cost to me. Then again when returning to the till i had to expalin again to the till operator why I was returning the oroginal blind. The service was rude appalling and inappropriate personal conversations between till staff whilst queuing was uncomfortable. I'm not sure why the customer service has dropped so dramatically in the last month or so, but I will be looking at other shops and defo lost my custom as now going to Hilarys for the shutters due to the lack of engagement when trying to discuss blinds etc with staff. Sad especially as I'm trying not to buy online at the moment to keep shops like this in our highstreets.

When one section of the love seat broke because it was defective, I requested a new piece. That's when I found out I made a huge mistake buying from El Dorado. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I spoke with a Karla and a Kathie and both sent repair people out to my home to repair it. I wanted a new piece, as seeing I purchased it less than 6 months prior. Both repair men said I needed a new piece. El Dorado has been fighting tooth and nail, and making me wait on a repair rather than just replace it. My back is suffering. They just blame Covid, every time you call the store they give a new date for you to call back to check. I keep a broke tv stand in my live room which I spent more than 1000$ plus warranty!

I could not find a store locally that carried the Reverie brand. I had tried one at Mattress Firm but it was a base model. Bed Planet had the model I wanted. We spoke on the phone to the sales rep, got it ordered and a week later it was here. The Reverie brand is the quietest adjustable base and most comfortable base I have ever tried. We shopped for 2 months every weekend but the Reverie was the best. The price was awesome everything was exactly as promised!!! If we buy more beds, we will buy from Bed Planet only!!! Hi Tanner, Just wanted to let you know that the Malouf bases were delivered yesterday. My wife and I got them in the house and set them up. Everything appears to be working fine. The bases fit perfectly into our bed frame. You'd never know that we replaced our box springs. The only issue we noticed when we were lifting them off a wooden pallet is that they used a broken pallet. The bottom box was actually sitting on exposed nails that went right into the box. My wife and I had our fingers crossed that the exposed nails didn't damage the adjustable bed. Once we got it in the house assembled the legs and turned it over, everything looked ok. Luckily the piece of foam that was in the box proceed the base from damage. II'm thinking that the Distribution Center in Ohio didn't use an appropriate wooden pallet or the pallet was broken during transit. I just wanted to bring it to your attention. Everything else worked out great. I'd like to than you and your colleagues for all your help in purchasing the Malouf S755. Be safe! Bob

I ordered a divan and mattress from them online , I was told it would be a 7 to 10 day wait for delivery due to Covid 19 , ok no problem thats fine HOWEVER 21 days later I'm still waiting ! I was told on Tuesday my bed would be delivered today so I took a day off as a frontline Care worker this took some jiggling only to receive an e mail this morning gone 9am telling me they had made a mistake ! I got up at 7am to dismantle my old bed so now i need to reassemble it again to avoid having to sleep on the floor !! I am now waiting for a new delivery date as I'm not off work again for a couple of days , in way of a good will gesture they offered me a free pillow !! My advice would be spend your money elsewhere...go to Bensons or Dreams avoid dealing with Hamseys POOR POOR service , Covid 19 or not !

The worst company I have ever dealt with. They send battered furniture, provide abysmal service and consider customers unreasonable! I waited 4 weeks to get my tall boy delivered, it arrived with huge cracks. I contacted customer services and they said they would replace it but it would take up to 4 weeks to get a new one and wanted to leave me with a hazard around small children. After getting nowhere with the poor service I made a complaint to the CEO - to which nobody higher than the same customer service rep responded! Nobody higher took any responsibility and they blatantly don’t care. The customer service rep ‘accidentally’ sent an email which was meant to be internal and the tone and language of what was said was abysmal. She tried recalling this email but it just so happens I opened it as it came through! It was then meant to be delivered today (8 weeks after ordering) after numerous emails and phone calls. I had to chase them after waiting around to be told that the warehouse systems had gone down and quote on quote ‘nobody would have contacted you if you hadn’t contacted us’ - no accountability! If you do purchase anything from this company, they are part of The Furniture Ombudsman which is now the route I’m having to go down. The stuff that these guys sell are also sold in other reputable wholesalers through the country. Read the small print, find the manufacturer and go on their website to find other stockists.

Cousins is rubbish. Brought a sofa £3000 within 2 months, the chair broken in half when the, repair man came to fix it even he was shocked to see a cheap piece of wood hdi g the chair together. After a it 3 weeks chair broke again so I've requested a replacement still waiting for it 8 months later I'm still waiting. Cled the office again today and spoke to sophy in customer services who is quite frankly rude and patronising has no customer experience and talks over you when you are trying to speak. I am disabled and require a certain chair to help ease my limbs however I've not been able to enjoy my sofa. Im going to report them to roag traders and trading Standards DISCUSTING COMPANY DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THEM RHEY DON'T DESERVE IT

On VIP night I was quoted $3600 for 2 rooms and the hallway. This went up by $1000 when the guy came out to measure. After I complained about the colour of the beading I was told if I wanted it to match I should have asked and was told it could be fixed for another $550. There was never any mention of beading prior to installation and I refuse to pay anymore money. I went to Harvey Norman as it's an Australian company and I expected quality service and installation. Extremely disappointed.

I ordered a v pillow and pillow case, via their Amazon shop, only to later realise that their website (that I previously never knew existed) was selling the same products for significantly less. When I complained, customer support fobbed me off by claiming that Amazon sold the products to me and not them! Ermmm... and your Amazon seller account, which has exactly the same business name, address and phone number? After contesting, I was then informed that they "refuse to be held responsible" and proceeded to ignore any further contact from me. Taking into account that their website was offering generous discounts, on most of their products, I was confounded as to why this company refused to 'make things right'. While I wasn't expecting a part-refund, it would have been nice to have been sent a complimentary pillow case as a goodwill gesture. After posting my ordeal at Trustpilot, Homescapes reported it and the review was immediately pulled. Their claim was that I'd never done business with them and the review was for the wrong company! The absolute gall... After supplying all the relevant information (i.e. invoices, screen captures, cached web links, etc.), to prove that the transaction actually occurred, my review was made publicly visible again. However, since then, Homescapes has reported (and pulled) my review twice more. Yes, my honest review was reported three times! Without a doubt, Homescapes is a shady, disrespectful and very unprofessional company. Both their dubious business practices and after-sales service are utterly appalling. I certainly won't be doing business with this company ever again. Avoid!!!

The builders put a Caple dishwasher in our new house. It died on Christmas Eve (handy with a house full of people) it was exactly 3 years old. It has been replaced by a Bosch, it is quieter, and has more programmes. I wouldn't touch Caple again.

Never have I been as pleasantly surprised to tour an off campus housing place as I have Clemson Lofts. They're aren't a ton of off-campus places to choose from but, I'm glad I looked at these people last! It was clean, staff was present but not overwhelming, and the students who lived there (that I could convince to give me a few minutes) had really only positive things to say. I got on the list to pre-lease in the Spring of next year, so so far so good! I almost skipped it because of the negative stuff posted but, when I asked the leasing person about it she explained that when they were doing updates and expanding that the city of Clemson made it hard for them to meet their deadlines. She basically said "that was the worst but, we got through it," in a few more words. Everything looks good to me. By far my first choice of the bunch! Would recommend to family and friends.

We purchased a leather 2 seat and 3 seat sofa and it arrived within the expected time frame. However, we were advised the 2 seater came apart as we ordered recliners to get it in our house but when it came it was not in two pieces and we had to get out a glazier to remove a window to get it inside! The delivery drivers were very patient waiting for the glaziers to arrive and we thank them for their understanding. This could have been avoided with more correct information when we purchased..

I ordered a Angel high gloss 3 door wardrobe and bedside cabinet. Delivery was delayed due to vehicle issues but no matter the furniture arrived 3 days later. On assembling the wardrobe I noticed I had two right hand side panels instead of a left and right hand. I also noticed one of the high gloss doors was damaged either whilst in storage or in transit. I’ve contacted Stuart at Archers three times in the last week to get a delivery date for the replacement parts but as of writing this review I do not have a date. The furniture is of good quality it’s just the follow customer service that is letting this purchase down- and this is very frustrating.

When I requested a quote I got a swift answer and brochure. Once I placed an order, I received communication from Revival beds all the way through to delivery. They delivered exactly when they said they would, were very efficient and helpful.

Good knowledgeable salesman did not use delivery option as I could get the chair pick up promised the chair would be wrapped in plastic by salesman this however was not the case and nothing was given to cover the chair did ask for plastic

KK Designs have just built one and fitted 3 bathrooms and one cloakroom. This is the second time we have used them as they have previously fiited our kitchen. I would not choose to use any other company; their quote was reasonable, the quality of the products good, the workmanship excellent and they arrived when they said they would. We trusted them enough to go on holiday for 3 weeks and leave them the run of the house. First Class Service.

Really bad customer service, after buying bunk beds and waiting 8 weeks for delivery we finally got them assembled only for them to be faulty and drip wood sap all over my disabled son and his bedding . After numerous emails i now have to take the bed down and return them no compensation for bedding or trauma to my son would not recommend.

AVOID AVOID AVOID I am writing this review 10 weeks after receiving a damaged cotbed for my newborn daughter. The cotbed arrived completely damaged and the mattress was never delivered. all photo evidence was provided to MrHousey of the damaged cotbed. I requested new parts be sent out Along with the mattress and the damaged parts to be collected. ‘your delivery will be dispatched this week’ is what I was told on every email and phone-call. We waited and waited. I called and called, emailed and emailed and was told the same thing every time. Lies. After over 100 emails and 20 or so phone calls this has still not been resolved. We couldn’t wait any longer and put the damaged cotbed up together 2 weeks ago (8 weeks after logging the initial damage). We had spent £500 on it and couldn’t afford to get a new cotbed from elsewhere. I spoke with the manager and he advised he would give me a partial refund as compensation for the damage and a full refund for the mattress that was never delivered as part of the order. Guess what......this again hasn’t materialised. This company are hugely dishonest and not to be trusted at all. Everyday they give empty promises and now they are not answering the phone or responding to emails. I have been on tears on the phone to them and they just fob you off with empty promises. I have paid over £500 for a cotbed that is damaged and a mattress that was never sent. It’s such a shame the service is SO BAD because they furniture is beautiful. I have disputed this with the bank and gone to trading standards. Also please note they operate under serval trading names - DO NOT BE FOOLED Order number #100024067

Order number #100023929 for 2x cot/bed/sofas plus 2x mattresses placed and paid for on August 4th 2019 with a faster delivery date if 5-10 days after numerous emails and phone calls and lies from this company ( they even blamed BSJ the company that delivers for them who I called and only then did I get a delivery if only 1 cot and no mattresses on September 23 I waited phoned emailed only to be told next week , next week , “for sure “ absolute lies by October 18th I still had not received a refund for the mattresses nor had received the outstanding cot so on advice from trade and standards I sent an email of time is of the essence cancellation. Mr Housey agreed to refund in 2-3 days but as the hadn’t refunded the mattresses from September I had no faith in there empty promises . The matter is now with my card company as a disputed transaction and I had to purchase another cot/bed from another company called Baby Snooze who are fantastic.

We came across BBT by accident and once we got in touch with Mark, the whole experience went really well. Mark advised us really well on colours and finishes. He and Damian installed a fold down bed for us in a small room and we were very happy with the result. Nothing was too much trouble and the installation went without a hitch. I would certainly recommend BBT to anyone intending to do a similar job.

I think the most important decision you can make before undertaking a project like building a granny flat is to choose the right builder. Luckily for my wife and I, we chose Smart Choice Granny Flats. At every stage they were professional, punctual, polite, knowledgeable and my favourite thing of all - they were transparent in there pricing. I knew exactly what I was paying for because every item and upgrade was itemised prior to us handing over our hard earned cash. This meant that I was able to balance the build against my budget, and at know stage was I left with a nasty shock to the hip pocket. For those who are curious, strictly looking at the building cost. We built a 60sqm, brick, Colorbond roofing, covered patio, fairly high spec’d granny flat with many upgrades for a total cost of $128072.72. This flat has now been rented with zero vacancies for the last 18 months at $450.00 a week. I would sincerely like to thank Smart Choice Granny flats, stellar performance ladies and gents:)
