We hired Phil to remove an old vintage wood burner, open up the covered fireplace and install a new wood burner with hearth. The quality of the job was excellent and the whole team were very courteous throughout their time in our house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

This is the 3rd year running I have used the heat logs. So easy to order on line picking a delivery address to suit. Delivered on a pallett by a friendly driver. Storing takes up less space than logs. They also give out a good heat and work well with less mess.

I have ordered from Wood Fuel Direct a number of times over the 2019/20 winter and I have found the website easy to navigate and products have always been delivered quickly and on time . Unfortunately the card boxes used for delivery are totally unsuitable for the weight of package and potentially could injury as the contents are heavy and can move within the box effecting your balance when lifting .

Im a HETAS installer and chimney sweep, I installed on of these stoves and it twisted on first lighting and the bloke on the phone was blaming everyone and everything including me (been installing for 20 years with no problems) I also see these stoves when sweeping and I would say Run away and buy a decent stove!!!

Ordered a gas fire but had a problem with the delivery so missed our gas engineers slot. When we came to install the fire we found we had the wrong size flu. Flames refused to take the fire back or change it as we were over the 14 day returns period. We have more fires to purchase for our other cottages would never use Flames again as their customer service is rubbish. All seems great until something goes wrong!

Brilliant service, we got loads of advice over the phone before ordering and they two gentlemen we spoke with were never pushy. Our new fire came when we were told it would and it was in perfect condition. Couldn't fault them.

Initially I was over the moon with the stove and the customer service however a few days on and we’re still missing a part, the doors have seized on the stove so we can hardly open and close them and customer service seem to have vacated the building ! ?!?! We really don’t want to leave a bad review but feel we’ve been abandoned !!!

This review is affected by the customer service of the company rather than the product. We bought the Garden Fiesta fire and have been very pleased with it, though the black paint started bubbling and peeling after only the second lighting. The fire is very robust though so it should be a long term investment. My dissatisfaction was in the customer service. I was given three additional dates for delivery after the original date given by the company was missed. On each occasion I had to do the contact to the company. When the fire was delivered the Pizza stone was not included and again I had to contact the company and had to chase twice to get it sent. The additional flue pipe also was not delivered and I had to contact them 4 times until in the end I asked for the money for the flue to be refunded - to which they responded within 12 hours with a prompt refund. I understand that COVID has affected the service but there is no excuse for not contacting a customer or responding to polite requests. Also, the only means of communication is by a 'Live-chat' line that is actually an email - there is no-one at the other end to respond. They do not accept phone calls or email. A crazy way to operate. It appears this experience may be unusual from other reviews, but for me it was very poor and tempered the pleasure of the fire.
