I ordered a set of Lee Filters and an adapter ring in late May, knowing perfectly well they were back-ordered at 2Filter (and everywhere else). I instantly received an auto-generated email confirming the order, and a few hours later a personal email confirming the backorder status. I was guessing it might be a 4-6 month wait before I saw my filters. A rep from 2Filter called in mid-August to say they had the filters but not the exact adapter ring I'd ordered. She suggested a substitute, which was fine, and the order was processed.

The order was well packed. My only complaint, and it's minor since all has ended well, is that it took 11 days from the time my credit card was charged to receive the order (in Arizona). Also, the 2Filter website indicates that orders are shipped via USPS. In fact, I received mine via UPS. UPS often won't leave packages, so I prefer to know when they're coming. Shipping would have been a non-isssue if 2Filter had notified me of the shipment, and provided a tracking number.

In all, I'm happy to have received my order much sooner than I expected. I won't hesitate to order from 2Filter again.

After spending three days (online and locally) searching for an infrared filter for my D70, I finally ran across this retailer. I called to inquire on their stock and they had one left. The person I spoke with was very nice and very accommodating. In addition, he was knowledgeable about their products. I ordered the filter along with 2-day shipping (only $15) and received the package as ordered. Although I did not check their ratings before ordering (they were the only place that had what I needed), I did notice some bad reviews under 2filters.com (note the "s"). My suggestion would be to phone in your order OR call them about an order placed online if there are questions. I would definitely order from them again.

I ordered from this company on a Saturday. On Monday afternoon they called me to inform me that a filter I had ordered was out of stock. They were calling to ask if I wanted them to back order it and send the rest of my order. They then offered to send me an upgraded product for a substantial savings. The fact that they called me to let me know instead of just backordering made me realize they were an awesome company to do business with. I got my order 3 days later, just like promised! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to EVERYONE!

I bought a LEE 72mm Wide Angle adapter, LEE filter holder and few Hitech GND filters from them.

I am very satisfied with their service. When I communicated with them by phone and email their reply was prompt and courteous. They ship the items very fast and well packaged.

If I want to by any photographic equipment in future they will be one of the first sources I check.

I ordered a macro ring from the Filter Connection on March 7, 2003. It was out of stockand had to be back ordered. What I want to commend this company for, however, is the way that they informed me immediately, and continued to keep me well informed of my order status during my wait. They also informed me immediately when my order shipped on March 20. This was a very small order--yet they gave me good information and customer service and didn't leave me wondering where my order was for two weeks. I will order from them again, and I recommend them to others. One small negative is that their shipping charges seem a little high.

I purchased a cleaner for my filter and some filter tissue more than a month ago. I have not received any of the items and my visa was charged a month ago.

I have sent 3 emails and have received no replies.

After getting advice from a salesperson on the phone, I ordered 2 camera filters and some other items for my Minolta Dimage 7Hi online from 2filter.com on November 20, 2002. I received confirmation the next day that the order had been shipped, complete, via USPS for free, since my order was over $50. My order arrived a few days later and all items were as advertised. 2filter's prices were a little lower than most others, and they were helpful and delivered as promised. No complaints!

I ordered an 82mm Marumi Super DHG UV filter. They answered the phone quickly when I called with a question, they were courteous, the item was priced reasonably (plus free shipping), they shipped the item quickly, and it was well packaged. All in all, a perfect transaction. I have purchased filters from them in the past and I will continue to do so. One of the advantages of 2filter is that they are one of the few vendors in the USA that sell Marumi filters, which are really great thin Japanese filters with front threads that cost less than B+W or Heliopan, but offer equivalent quality glass. They are also a small business that appears to care about their customers. I appreciate this a lot.

I have been using The filter connection for several years, they represent everything that you want to have with an eseller.

Great prices, easy to navigate web site, knowledgeable staff, a brick and mortar building, dependable service, validation of order, shipping and finally just great folks to talk with about what your needs are.

They have brought to my attention some very good filter manufactures that I was not aware of...I actually enjoy picking up my phone and ordering from a real live person who is not just an order placer. This company is the real deal, and they are my first call for filter orders and not B&H, Adorama or any other guys.

I still can't understand why the rest of the world has figured it out yet...

I have purchased, B+W, LEE, and Marumi, CPOL, ND Split grads, clear MRC, from them always a great price, fast shipping, undamaged and original manufactures...as a matter of fact, when I look back I have over 18 orders with them and 30 filters.... the quality and service is there and you don't need to look elsewhere.....

As I said before they are the real deal and I'd highly recommend them !

I have lived in NH my whole life and was looking for a local place to buy a camera filter and some accessories. I went directly to their store and they have a very large selection of products. It was a little confusing at first being new to photography, but the customer service was great and they really helped me in understanding and choosing the best filter. I had never heard of Marumi before, but I purchased a Marumi 58mm Super DHG protect and love it! I also bought a variety of filter cleaning supplies. All wonderful products and were very reasonably priced. I will definitely be a return customer.

I ordered 3 filters and a Cokin filter holder because I could get them all from one place, at a good price. I called and spoke to Barbara. She was very friendly and professional and shipped the order the same day I called. It only took 5 days for them to arrive. (It normally takes 10 to get to Guam).

The filters were well packed and just as described on their site.

Later I returned 1 filter and the return process was easy. I just called for a return authorization and mailed it back.

I would definitely recommend The Filter Connection (www.2filters.com).

I purchased my last 3 filters (ND and ND Grads) from 2filter.com; they shipped the next day and the box was at my place before the expected arrival date. no problems whatsoever. if I ever need other filters they'll be the first place I look.

I have made multiple orders from The Filter connection in the last year. Everytime I have found that if they carry the item, it is the lowest price I can find. They also ship very quickly. My only comment to new customers is don't give up too quickly when looking for the filter you need on their web site. It is probably there and once you find it, the price will probably be the better than any other store's.

The order for filter set was make on 29th Nov 2007 and 2filter.com shipped on 30th November 2007. Since they had a offer of free shipping using USPS on orders over $66, I choose this options. Since then the order has been in the same state and 2filter.com customers service is so bad they don't even want to talk and figure out what is going on with the package. I'll never ever buy from this store.

I am a first time customer of the filter connection. I ordered a 45.5mm to 52mm Sony DSC V1 telephoto and wide angle lens adapter (Kenko brand) and I must say I am very pleased with the quality of these items and the speed at which the item arrived. I ordered the items on late Friday August 6th, too late for order processing and received the item on Weds August 10th US Mail. I was very impressed with the quality of the adapters and also the speed the order wqas processed and received. The adapters work great with my 52mm 2x telephoto from Sakar. ordered merchandise late on tuesday evening, got merchandise before noon thursday. the price was significantly lower than every reputable store selling the same types of products. no issues with the product recieved. I'll shop from there again.

I ordered a prepackaged kit, which included a Hi-Tech graduated ND filter, and a Cokin P holder. The shipping was as advertised, but the fiter didn't fit the holder.

I emailed The Filter Connection, and waited over a three day weekend to hear back. In the meantime, I checked around and found a few people who had trouble with the Hi-Tech filter fitting the P Cokin holder (one had even purchased it from the Filter Connection and resolved the issue with them by getting a replacement).

On Monday, I receieved an email back from The Filter Connection telling me, essentially, that I was wrong and that it did fit. I wrote back to say that this was a completely inadequate response to my concern, but I've never heard back.

I ended up grinding down the filter myself, and now it fits.

Mistakes happen, and it's not reasonable to get too critical of a merchant when a mistake occurs. That said, this company did not take my concerns seriously and made no attempt to correct the mistake.
