Have been playing in a 5aside.org league for a couple of years now and it has always been well organised and good value. The refs are good, I enjoy the structure and rules and generally we have never felt like switching since finding this league.

This would be a 5 star review except there have been a few issues with our particular league in the past couple of seasons - they have struggled a few times to fill the quota of teams and also the upkeep of our pitch has not been great. I understand both of these are out of 5aside.org's control in some ways, but they have slightly dampened our experience recently.

We signed up for an evening 5s league about 10 weeks ago. The service has been excellent, the location is brilliant, both the website and payment system are very easy to use. Would recommend to anybody thinking about starting up a team and joining a league!

Played in various leagues run by these guys for over 4 years now. Well organised; never had any issues. Nice teams on the whole too; not the normal bunch of chavs you find at many 5aside leagues.

The Battersea park Wednesday league has been a great place for RJR to showcase our talents and become the squad we are today.

It's been a highly positive experience so far and we've just renewed for our second season. The refs are great and officiate well, but myself and the rest of the team would love to see goal line technology introduced.

The organisers are quick to respond with any queries and usually have the results up by midday the next day. (Shout out to big Andy doing a great job).

You should be warned that at the Battersea ground, it is a blue pitch stained with the Chelsea logo which can make you feel rather uncomfortable to play on - we're looking to get it recoloured with the famous RJR colours but for now we all have to make do with what's there.

All in all, I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to play - it's a good competitive level and located near a few pubs and bars for post match celebrations - we've personally opted for the asparagus (our club sponsors).

This is our first time playing five a side, and it has been great (results aside). We were going to join a different league, but decided to go for this one after being persuaded by Amy McCluskey. It is very well run, well managed, and has good refs on a good pitch. Andy goes out of his way to sort out any issues (temporary floodlights for example), and there have never been any issues in getting a team together/facing a team with five players. Overall this is very good- we will be signing up again for the next round if we can. Well done Amy and Andy in particular

First, it was really easy to find a league next to my place thanks to the map, and the filter by size (5 to 7 a side) and days of the week.
Organization after that is perfect, with the possibility to get a list of ringers in case we are a player short, games are played in a fair atmosphere, we get the results and rankings updated online the day after the match. The website also allows us to register each player, and they receive a weekly email to update their availability for next game.
I just wish the format could have included more than 5 teams in the league.

I've run a team in 5 a side.org's Brixton league for the last four years. There are a number of reasons why I've stayed with this league. The pitches are good quality - the Brixton one is 4G rubber crumb and far superior to the sandy astro that everybody hates. The price is slightly cheaper than other leagues I've played in. Primarily though, the staff at 5 a side.org are excellent. The leagues are properly organised and competitive, the referees turn up on time and are friendly are fair and the staff are very easy to deal with - they've even helped me get players when I'm a man short, even at the very last minute on a Sunday afternoon when nobody is in the office.
I would strongly recommend joining one of their leagues if you're looking at starting a team or joining from another league.

Have been playing in this league (at two locations in Brixton and Battersea) for a few years now. Would definitely recommend them. The orgnisation is good and they are very helpful in helping us find a ringer or two on the occasions we have been short a man for a game

We have been playing in a Thursday evening Battersea league organised by 5aside.org for just over a year and we find it to be very enjoyable, of a good standard and well-organised.

League fixtures are dependable and on the rare occasions where our opposition have been a no-show, the league have been really quick to find us a friendly or sort out a refund for that week with no fuss.

We have raised a couple of issues with 5aside.org over the course of our time with them (e.g. balls in need of replacement, league format) but they have always been swift in responding in good faith and very open and approachable with feedback on how participants think they might be able to make improvements - a very welcome characteristic and certainly not one that we have seen from all league organisers we have played with previously.

Overall, a very well run league. Keep up the good work!

We've played on a Monday night in Battersea for a few years now and it's been a very good experience. Occasional problems with quality of the floodlights and footballs but these are fairly rare and overall it's been a lot of fun. Keep it going!

We've been playing at Newton Prep on a Thursday night since 2002 and are now on our third set of League organisers, with 5aside.org taking over 'the franchise' (if that is the right description) about 18 months ago.

They moved to 7 team divisions in the league before the current one, which is slightly frustrating because each team sits out 2 weeks out of 14 - and you need to be sharp to work out which is the best week to request for a 'rest week' before the fixtures are out based on your player availability.

The last organisers also had quite a nice gimmick on their website which enabled you to load up a club page featuring photos of your squad - but we don't talk about them any more as they tried to hold onto our money when they lost the pitch reservation halfway through a season....

All in all, very happy to confirm that we are satisfied customers.

A group of us living in Tooting play 7-a-side football on a Monday night near Clapham North, run by 5aside.org.

Although there are pitches and organised leagues closer to where we live, we choose to stick with this league due to it's great prices (I'm yet to find better in South London), decent standard of football and good facilities. The format of the league means that we are guaranteed a competitive game of football each week.

Where we have had any inevitable problems, i.e. other teams not showing up for instance, the guys have always been really good in re-compensating us by the end of the season or at the beginning of the next; not something I'be experienced at various other leagues down the years.

Overall, I'd say a top organisation run by some decent chaps.

We have been playing in the same league for 5 years now with no problems. Fixtures are very dependable, well run and always played in a competitive yet good spirit. Communication from the league is clear and timely. Our team has blooded almost 50 mates/colleagues in the league, all of whom have enjoyed the experience.

(This is with reference to the Monday evening 6-a-side league at Newton Prep school.)
- The league is well organised. The team that run it have proved very helpful.
- The web site is much improved, and has always included all-important fixture and results information.
- The standard of the pitch is good.
- Changing facilities are fine.
- The balls are generally good, but some older ones could be phased out.
- The refereeing is generally good.
- Opposition teams are on the while competitive but fair.
- The 'ringer' web page is very useful.
- Happy to recommend this league.

I have been playing in their 5 and 6 aside leagues for a number of years now and highly recommend then. Very well organised leagues with good refs and very friendly head office staff. They also regularly organise tournaments to support local charities which are great.
