AIPC

Did the Diploma course in 2015 of Counseling. It's expensive and is not recognized and hence I could not find employers that would employ me with it. The course is outdated and employees want degrees in psychology and social. Do not waste your money and time on this course. AIPC have blocked me from their Facebook page as they don't want people knowing the truth about this course.

I really enjoyed the course having completed my Diploma in 8 months. The material was very interesting and I found this very practical and relevant. The facilitators were really supportive and I found the practicals very interesting. I believe I learnt as much from the practicals as I did for the material. I am starting my own practice now and know that I have a good base to work with now that I have completed my diploma. Thank you to all involved for the wonderful experience that I had in the last 8 months.

I completed my Diploma of Counselling with AIPC earlier this year and highly recommend them. Having studied for a Certificate IV through another online education provider, I have found AIPC to be far superior in terms of student support, course material layout and content and assessment methods. The website is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the staff are helpful, enthusiastic and informed. I highly recommend AIPC to anyone who is comparing online education providers and would definitely use them again for my future studies.

I had spoken to a number of training providers prior to contacting the AIPC, and I have to say I was really impressed with the the APIC Gold Coast staff and their communication when carrying out my initial research. Their knowledge on all aspects of counselling is excellent and they really care about your progress. The materials are great and the portal is easy to get around. A really supportive team.

I started the counselling course with Sydney branch AIPC.
I found the course well structured, simple and comprehensible to enhance learning. My initial intention for taking the course was for self improvement reasons only like: to connect with people better and to be a genuine listener. However by the end of the course I’d become interested in counselling. Firstly it’s because the excellent system in this course with imparting the counselling skills has instilled this confidence in me. Secondly, the feedbacks and support from the teachers and tutors are very positive and encouraging.
I know that the real learning journey after completing the course had just began but taking this course had opened this path for me.
I highly recommend learning with AIPC.

I just completed my Diploma of Counselling in Adelaide through the AIPC. Thanks to their flexible study options, I was able to complete the Diploma entirely online (including the practical components). The feedback I received throughout the course was purposeful and empowering. Assistance from someone at AIPC was only every an email or phone call away; I found their staff to be informative and generous in support. I would highly recommend AIPC to anyone who is looking into studying counselling.

I enrolled in my diploma in 2010 after coming out of my marriage. I wanted to use my experiences that I had learnt in my marriage and previous relationships and times when things were really hard to get through to let people know that there is hope and that you can get through it. I sent away for an information pack and when it came, I knew that I wanted to do it! I started the course but stopped doing it in 2011 due to starting another relationship, work, travel and other things. Life in general really! When I had another HUGE life change last year in 2018, on the advice from other people and myself, I got my books out and started it again. It was always in the back of mind that I wanted to finish it but it was always one of those things - you know!

Last year was a particularly hard year for me(harder than my divorce) and I ended up moving to the country The flexibility of doing the diploma online gave me the opportunity to study and not have to change my lifestyle(once again!) I'd had so may life changes in the last 10 years that I was craving some stability and direction. I started the diploma at the beginning of 2018 and by Dec of that same year(last year) I had finished. It was like a Christmas present to me! I decided to do the practicals in a group as I liked the support of like-minded people around me, but the flexibility and knowing that I can do the practicals another way was so good. I was lucky enough that I only lived 2 hours from Adelaide and could stay with my sister so this made is very easy for me.

Studying the diploma also gave me a reason to get up each day and work and look forwards to something. Not only it is a way of helping people, it has also helped myself and opened up many more doors in new and more career prospects and this is something that I would never dream of happening. I found that the workshops that I went to were also very therapeutic to me because not only did the teacher understand what I was saying when I was talking about my personal life, the other students would sit there and listen in a non-judgmental environment because we were all studying towards the same thing. I also found that by doing the practicals, it was very therapeutic for me because I was using the tools I was learning to help other people so I used them on myself!

The staff at the Adelaide office made it so easy for me to talk to and when I had an enquiry they would always help me out. I sometimes felt like I was ringing up for a stupid reason but they never said anything to make me feel stupid. They would say things like, "No, it's okay, you just do this, this and this." I also found that when I submitted a book for marking, it would get back to me with a day or two. No waiting around or having to ask them or be on their backs for feedback or when will my book arrive? They also gave constructive feedback which was great! The online forums were also great! The AIPC Diploma of Counselling Facebook page was particularly helpful. On a unit that I was particularly stuck on, I would post a comment on here and within a few minutes, someone would put a post up to help me. This was AWESOME!


I don't know about other offices interstate, but the Adelaide office and AIPC staff, teachers and everybody else have been nothing but supportive, helpful and professional. I would to thank everybody who has helped me and for those who are stuck, unmotivated or don't know quite what to do from here, just do it slowly and at your own pace. I know what it s like to have those days when you just don't want to and everything sucks, but at the end, it is so worth it! Not only have you completed your diploma but you have the qualifications to help people and what is more rewarding that that? I believe you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I know everyone has their own stories and I know that there will be days to come when I just don't feel like doing anything and there will be really really bad day's, but if I can look back at this and know how far I have come, well then, that will make me proud!

I am very happy with AIPC and the Diploma I have gained through them. I liked how it was self paced and fully online. I also enjoyed the practical seminar's held in a group setting so I could meet and talk with other students and the tutors are always willing to answer any questions. The course is well laid out with great information in the workbooks in an easy to follow format. There is always someone to answer your questions if you need extra assistance. I used the student portal a lot to help with answering some of the questions which helped me keep on track. Everyone at AIPC are so friendly and helpful. The course has complimented my work skills so I now have the skills and qualifications to apply for more jobs in the area I am most interested in.

I have loved completing my Diploma of Counselling with AIPC. Their service is incredibly responsive and they have such a wide range of diverse staff to guide you with your online learning and support during assessments. It's really evident that the AIPC staff all genuinely care about supporting their students to reach their goals to graduate and use their new counselling skills beyond the learning environment to make a positive impact on people requiring counselling support. I really enjoyed reconnecting with my love of psychology subjects with this Counselling Diploma, in what is a, very well thought out program design in both theory and practical assessments. I've gained so many new skills. Thank you so much everyone at Team AIPC.

I am extremely happy to have gained my Diploma in Counselling from the AIPC. The team at AIPC have been very supportive throughout my journey. Right from the time I got myself enrolled, with Esha there, to help and advise......to Jasmine and Nam......I have had nothing but one hundred per cent support from them. The curriculum is very informative and relevant; the practicals are well-conducted and all the assessors have always been very positive and encouraging. I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

I completed my diploma in about 7 months and I have continued to study with AIPC. Fantastic support, students have choices on how to complete practicals, course content was clear and easy to understand, Value for money, online studies and you dont miss anything and no pressure. They celebrate your little achievements along the way. Awsome administration. Sunshine Coast, Buderim is my area and the admin team have made me feel part of the AIPC family not a student number.I reccomend them highly. It's well worth it. I chose AIPC out of 5 other providers. And I don't regret my decision at all.

The AIPC has been such a wonderful blessing in my life for the last 7 years, not only do I love studying with them, the material and resources were outstanding and the content so valuable but it also provided me the knowledge and encouragement to enter into the real world of Counselling and satisfaction in helping clients. I have now achieved my Diploma of Counselling, my Graduate Diploma of Counselling in two streams and four Advanced Study Majors... it has been life changing, I highly recommend 5/5!

I am so grateful to have discovered AIPC. The support, friendships and easy to follow curriculum has clarified that I have made the right choice. I am very happy with my first 6 months and I am looking forward to competing the study.

I am currently studying with the Sydney Branch. Working through the Study Guides and Assessment Books at my own pace and when I want works really well with my other work and personal commitments. There is great support material in the manner of Readings. I have also attended a number of face-to-face practical assessments that were invaluable as they allowed me to network with other students and learn more about the industry. The assessor was very supportive and helpful with their feedback. The admin staff are also very helpful and supportive each step of the way.

I have just completed my Diploma in Counselling January 2020, and I have to say that I felt 100% supported throughout my journey. All the student support was always readily available for me when I had questions or got stuck and were always extremely quick in their communications back to me. I opted to do my assessments through a face to face contact, and again I was supported throughout, the communication and additional supports were 100%. Additionally the learning material is set out in an easy to follow straight forward method online. I could not recommend AIPC enough in their holistic, supportive and professional approach. It was definitely well worth the investment and time. I have also been supported post Diploma to help get my foot in the door into employment. Thank you AIPC, Holly, Brett and the wonderful Margie! I recently completed the Diploma of Financial Counselling with AIPC. I found the course content well structured, easy to follow and I loved that I could self-pace my studies. I am in a regional area and completed this course completely remotely, which was not a problem at all. The support team were wonderful to deal with and made me feel like a person, not just a student number.

I was scared to start studying, but once I got started I could not get enough. I found all the staff at AIPC very helpful and supportive. The student portal was very easy to use and I did not encounter any issues at all. I did not find the course difficult because I enjoyed it so much. I ended up graduating in 6 months while raising 2 children and working casual. I really had a wonderful journey.

I found the content of the course, revelent for my workplace and future career.
The convenience of self paced and to submit video recordings of my role plays was ideal.
I did struggle with a couple of necessary units and it REALLY stretched me!
Overall I will continue to recommend AIPC as the learning provider.

I started my Counselling Diploma to assist me with my Volunteer work after being away from a study environment for nearly 30 years. The On line Diploma is easy to navigate and the staff at Gold Coast AIPC are friendly and extremely helpful. I am 2/3 the way through in a very short time and have loved every minute. Thank you AIPC
