I found this site while looking for a deal on Eagles Nest Outfitters hammocks, which tend to be quite expensive(but definitely worth it). I love the outdoors and I work at a summer camp, which means my gear gets a lot of wear and tear, so I wanted to get a reliable brand of hammock. ENO is a great brand, and Backcountry Edge had a great deal on ENO stuff. I ordered a DoubleDeluxe ENO for about the same price as a SingleNest. SingleNest hammocks usually run about $60, and typically DoubleDeluxe hammocks are $20-$30 more, but I found it on sale here, so I went ahead and ordered it. I also ordered straps for the hammock, which brought my order total to close to $100. Along with my order, I got a free Backcountry Edge t-shirt, which is now one of my favorite shirts (it is one of the most comfortable shirts I own). The order arrived in the time that they said it would, and it was well packaged with original tags and such. I don't have anything bad to say about Backcountry Edge, and I'll likely be ordering from them again. I am a very satisfied customer. I've had my gear from them for around 7 months now, and it's still working great.

Ordered a hard to find Patagonia large navy blue down sweater jacket on a Wednesday morning before 9 am and it was at my door at noon on Thursday. And the price was lowest of any vendor on the Internet or in stores.
Now, compare this with an experience with REI. Two weeks earlier saw same item on their website. Ordered it and received confirmation. Three days later received an email telling me the order was cancelled. No reason, just cancelled. It took a phone call to their customer service to determine the reason, which was out of stock. When asked why it was still on their site, received an apology but no good answer. Perhaps they need to tweak their computer system?
Anyway, a fine experience with Backcountry, and thank you Brian, who handpacked the jacket with care.

I ordered a vest on 1/21 in Seattle, WA. Not only did they have the best price, they also shipped it to me for free and I received it 1/24. Very impressed and will surely order from them again. Keep up the great work!

Ordered a Kelty pop-up sun shade from Backcountry Edge this past summer. Had never heard of the company before that but the online reviews were good, and the price was the lowest I found. I have no regrets. The company was GREAT--fast service, perfect product, and a complimentary crazy comfortable t-shirt to boot. I highly recommend Backcountry Edge.

I had a great experience with backcountry edge's customer service; I ordered a backpack, decided I wanted a smaller one instead the next day, but the first had already shipped. Customer service actually called me in response to my e-mail to explain this and subsequently shipped the other pack as well. Returning the first was simple and painless with the prepaid label they give you.

I bought a beautiful Patagonia women's down coat on Monday, 12/18/2017. It was delivered via USPS today, Thursday 12/21/2017.

Awesome dealer, ordered a backpack at 11pm Tuesday, it was at my front door at 4pm Friday. Decent price, even better with 10% discount coupon I found on the net, free shipping and free return shipping should I need it. Paid $144 for a Kelty Red Cloud 6650 that REI and Sports Authority wanted $200 for. Would definitely order from backcountryedge again.

I made an order to backcountry edge for an eno because they promised free fast delivery and had a (much needed) 20% off coupon for first time customers. within less than a week my package arrived with everything exactly as I ordered, a free shirt, and tons of stickers! I wrote in my order that I loved stickers (because stickers are A + and you're never too old to love stickers) hoping they'd send me one and they sent me a pack of 13! They were so nice and their customer service is amazing as promised. I'll definitely shop there again when I need any outdoor supplies :)

One must remember bygone days to recognize this slogan, and though those at Backcountry Edge appear to be young, this is their policy.

I ordered an ultralight 2 person tent that shipped and was delivered immediately, only to decide it was a little cramped and fragile for what I considered acceptable. They were true to their word about "no questions asked" returns and refunded my purchase price immediately. Subsequently, I ordered another lightweight tent that shipped immediately and fit my needs perfectly. Nice to know customer support like this still exists!

Ordered a backpack that was on back order, Taylor (gear specialist) was extremely helpful in providing guidance. When the pack was available from the manufacturer (which wasn't too long), I called Taylor and had the backpack in 3 days. Nice to see a company that actually is customer service oriented. I have been purchasing the majority of my goods online for several years. I have never experienced this quality of customer service before. They went above and beyond any of my expectations. I ordered replacement straps for my Komperdell trekking poles. They did not fit. Tim in customer service contacted Komperdell to see if he could get the ones I needed. Unfortunately the type I need are not available. They offered instructions to make the ones I have work and a link to a website that could provide what else I need. I ended up returning the straps and they refunded me in full INCLUDING the shipping. Their customer service is exemplary. Their prices are great too. I will order from them again!!!

Our Boy Scout troop were looking for some new tents and going on this site we found the ones we were looking for ( Marmot Limelight 3p ). The tents were on a 30% markdown but we could not get them right away. When I talked to Shane, she said they would honor the sale price when we could order the tents the following week even though they were back to full price. We ordered 3 of the Limelights and 3 of the Marmot Catalyst 3p. They were shipped out the same day we ordered them and 2 days later they were delivered. I does not get any better than that!! Our hats off to Shane and Backcountry Edge.

Order was confirmed and shipped within 24 hours. Customer service was excellent. I contact the CSR via email for a defective item and received reply within 3 hours and they send out replacement at the same day. Excellent company with good people.

I found Backcountry Edge in August while shopping for a hiking child carrier. They do a phenomenal series of YouTube reviews. The videos are high quality, well-lit, thorough and the staff are experts on outdoor gear. I was happy to be able to buy the child carrier from Backcountry Edge at a good time of year when they were on sale at all retailers. I love the free t-shirt they give to first time orders over a certain dollar amount.

I had been wanting to get my dog a Ruffwear jacket. I was happy to find out that Backcountry Edge is a Ruffwear retailer. Coincidentally, I was also able to get the Ruffwear jacket on sale a couple of weeks ago. Again, I chose to order from Backcountry Edge, even though for both purchases, I could have received the items a few days faster with Amazon Prime.

*As a note, I noticed that Backcountry Edge is a seller on Amazon, but they fulfill their own orders, which means they are not Prime eligible. I chose to buy from the Backcountry Edge website since I figure it saves them money in not having to pay Amazon.

Backcountry Edge provides their own guarantee of the products they sell, similar to REI. I haven't had to use it, but based on my interactions with their staff, I would be really surprised if I ever had any trouble.

I typically buy more for price than out of loyalty to a seller, but Backcountry Edge is probably one of the best sellers I've come across.

I was looking for a spring running/hiking jacket and was looking at Patagonia jackets. Backcountry Edge had the lowest price on the Women's All Free jacket. It was on clearance and they had my size. The free two day shipping was awesome. The website was easy to use and I am happy with my jacket.
