I joined Bank Australia a few months ago after feeling rather disgusted with the appalling behaviour and performance of my former bank that I had been with for the past 40 years. My partner and I are absolutely delighted at the amazing, friendly, professional and supportive service from the bank staff at the Canberra Civic branch, special thanks to Kiera, who was always prompt, informative and very helpful with any enquiry we had. We believe that Bank Australia aligns with our values and beliefs for a more sustainable, honest and environmentally friendly way they operate and perform bank functions, more banks need to follow your lead, we are proud to be members of Bank Australia, I also convinced my partner to join Bank Australia after he'd been with one of the big banks for nearly 50 years. Keep up the great work.

Mariah was amazing, she made it such a quick and easy process applying for my personal loan. Application, documents and approval within the week.
This is why I bank with bank Australia and have been doing so for the past 8 or so years. Thanks again :)

I first joined, what is now bank Australia, in about 1985. I found the staff to be very reliable and helpful. I now conduct my banking, mainly online. The bank keeps me up to date with banking matters, If I have any queries I contact them and they quickly respond. Very pleased with the customer service and bankAustralia.

I have been with Bank Australia for over 8 years coinciding with the purchase of my first house. I recently took out a bridging loan to facilitate the sale of my first property and the purchase of a new house with my partner. My partner and I are both customers of Bank Australia. We have found Bank Australia and its staff to be highly reliable, service-oriented, and ethical. We are so pleased to be customers of a bank that is able to provide competitive rates and quality customer service whilst also contributing positively to the community and environment. In particular, we would like to commend Brad Day (Canberra City Branch) for helping us with our big life transition in the context of COVID-19. We really appreciated his informative, responsive, and positive service throughout this whole process. We found Brad to be an invaluable and trustworthy source of support and clarity during what's typically already a bit of an overwhelming time outside of the COVID-19 context. I switched to Bank Australia recently, driven by their attitude and policies regarding renewable energy and I have become more impressed with them the more I learn. I've also had two experiences contacting customer care and both were efficient and excellent. I would highly recommend them for these reasons.

I have only recently organised a car loan with Bank of Australia after they were recommended by my sister. When I went to purchase my car the car yard was convinced they could beat whatever I bank had offered. They were pretty impressed when I told them what bank of Australia were offering me! I had Rachael Haley from lending handle my inquiring and she was awesome. There were a few things I didn’t understand but she was always happy to explain and make sure I understood. She has been great throughout the whole process and extremely prompt! Thanks so much for all your help!

I have been with Bank Australia for 4 years since I arrived in the country as an international student. Our banker was very patient and transparent to me on every possible option to get my money's worth. Also, I love their online banking as I suffered no glitch whatsoever. I love that my money is not invested in the fossil fuel industry!

I’ve been with Bank Australia a very long time and have always found them exceptional with customer service and great interest rates including this year when I had to refinance.
I had a personal contact which was great rather than having to start again each time I called.
I had great customer service and will always recommend them.

I have been with the bank since working at CSIRO and it was Sirocredit. It may have gone through lots of names but whenever I have needed help and that is often, the staff have resolved the problem or query excellently.

I recently took out a car loan with Bank Australia. My car dealership was a bit difficult, providing the wrong information and/or being slow. The COVID-19 lockdown also made the process a bit more complicated. The Bank Australia staff were excellent: friendly, quick to respond, and putting in a great deal of effort to resolve problems quickly to arrange finance by the deadline. For example, when their online system didn't properly register our acknowledgement of documents they arranged this over the phone at short notice. And when I forwarded (incorrect) documents from the dealership, Bank Australia went straight to the dealership rather than making me do it. I was very impressed.

I have been a member since SEC credit union, have a housing loan with another bank. Bank Australia advertised a better variable rate so I applied to refinance Mortgage. I was employed fulltime, over 6 months with currrent employer and my pay went into Bank Australia account so they could see all my details. After applying they kept asking more and more mundane questions about minor and inconsequencial details.
They eventually didnt approve my loan applicaion and didnt provide any reason. I was disgusted at this treatment and am in the process of moving my account to another Credit Union. And I see im not the only one to receive such poor treatment, as others descibe moving on as well.

I have used bankaustralia for over 40 years, from the early days when it was the SEC Credit Union. The staff has, without exception, always been friendly and very helpful, both over the phone or in a branch. Today was no different. Jacqui, at the Bendigo branch was cheerful and friendly while dealing with an issue that only happens rarely. And then, to complete the service, she rang me to tell me that all had gone smoothly. Overall we have been with this bank (as MECU), as a secondary service, for about 50 years. We continued the relationship and now appreciating how much better they are than the big four to work with. Our service today refreshed our relationship and finding them so capable, assessing our needs and be age appropriate, was very encouraging for our future banking requirements. Emily was our contact person today and we could not fault her.

She went over and above to ensure I had the best deal on a the best product that was suited to me.

I first tried to apply for a BankWest credit card-- bad idea. After filling online form, a month later they mailed a letter saying I was rejected (even though online form said I was approved). Mecu was completely different. Within a week of submitting an electronic application, someone called to confirm the details of my application and got me set up. I've called several times subsequently to discuss the credit card and other products and the staff consistently seem knowledgeable and friendly. I'm about to apply for a home equity line of credit with Mecu as they seem to be so easy to work with.
No fees to start or ongoing fees, common sense credit assessment by a human, friendly people on the phone, no wait times to reach someone when you call.
When you go to increase your credit limit, you have resubmit all your details. I couldn't be bothered, so still have a relatively low limit.

We have been Bank Aus customers for 3 yrs and recently went to Canberra Civic branch to enquire about a loan. Kiera was an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything easy with so much help and patience. She was a consummate and kind professional throughout and did everything she said she would. This was truly the best banking experience we have ever had! We could not more highly recommend both Bank Aus and Kiera personally.

I have been a customer since 2001 (Back when they were Mecu)
I have always found Bank Australia to be helpful.
I recently had an urgent requirement to refinance and while at first it appeared there wasn't much that could be done about my situation, Bank Australia did jump through hoops to help me. I am greatly appreciative of there assistance in my time of need.
I am also proud to be a customer of Bank Australia, who invest responsibly and invest into improving our Environment.
