The guy we got did only one coat and stayed in the bathroom for the rest of the time and now because it was only one coat it has chip and looks terrible. Why would you do this Bathwerx, you don't do a professional job frim the begining and you don't do right thing by your customers.
I'd like the two 2 coats I paid for.

In line with their 7 Year written guarantee Bathroom Werx sent someone out to fix the problem. The franchise in Perth had changed hands since the initial work.
The new franchisee was openly critical of the previous owner told us that there had been a number of issues with the poor quality of the previous owners work. The new franchisee was obliged to fix any problems under guarantee and Bathroom Werx would pay him minimum wage.
The new franchisee stripped back the bath again and resprayed. He was friendly and considerate like the first installer. Unfortunately he used a bright white colour rather than the off-white we had originally installed despite me discussing it with the Bathroom Werx call centre as well as him personally on the phone several weeks previous. He also mistakenly installed the complimentary chrome waste surround, which was also not wanted. I called Bathroom Werx to voice my frustrations and lodge a complaint but they said that ultimately the franchisee is responsible for all works, not the head office. We decided to leave it rather than have him come back at minimum wage to do it all over again.
Another 12 months elapsed and the enamel had begun pitting in several places. The bath had also several chips and a number of scratches from 12 months of use but nothing like the initial catastrophic failure. We called Bathroom Werx again and the installer returned to touch up the problem areas and remove the chrome waste surround at my request. Possibly he has read my complaint to head office the year previously or was having a bad day as he used an off-white tint for the touch up areas. This only became apparent some time after the work. Happily, he did spend some time making the original brass waste surround look fantastic.
More than 12 months later the bath is largely bright white, with the exception of the numerous splotches of off-white. Rust is starting to show through near the plug hole as well. There are a number of chips and scratches but I understand this to be typical of the non-baked enamels used by Bathroom Werx and similar companies which are not as durable as the original baked enamels.
I expect Bathroom Werx would be more than happy to send back the franchisee to again rectify the situation (and will no doubt state this below my review) but I feel I will just be making another call to them in another 12 months and again until the guarantee runs out.
We are currently planning a renovation and we will be having the bath removed and taken to be stripped back completely and coated with an oven-baked enamel. No doubt this will cost more, but I hope it will be a coating to last decades rather than several years.

Poor product, Customer service is terrible, 7 year warranty it isn’t worth the paper it’s written on

Would I recommend them? Not for showers, but for other things yes, as I'm happy with that. Thank goodness for the warranty!
ease of cleaning, 7yr warranty!
bad customer service, wish they would fix the problem instead of just repairing it!
