on-time

After driving 200 k's for a 8am appointment the representative arrived at 9am .I was told he could not do the work as he had an appointment at newport an hour away . Bathroom werx wanted to do the job at a time that did not suit me . I refused and stood my ground and they did the job .
No apology was received .
The bathroom werx product seems ok , but the after sales service is terrible .
They want your money but not very happy to help when thing go wrong .

I read they do 3 coats 15mins between each coat, so I got them out.
The guy we got did only one coat and stayed in the bathroom for the rest of the time and now because it was only one coat it has chip and looks terrible. Why would you do this Bathwerx, you don't do a professional job frim the begining and you don't do right thing by your customers.
I'd like the two 2 coats I paid for.

We paid $950 in March 2016 to re-enamel our 50+ year old cast iron bath in an off-white tone. We chose not to have the complimentary chrome waste surround installed. The franchisee was friendly and considerate. Initially we found the enamel to be very prone to scratches and the surface totally failed in the first year, with large sections peeling away and countless other cracks and chips.
In line with their 7 Year written guarantee Bathroom Werx sent someone out to fix the problem. The franchise in Perth had changed hands since the initial work.
The new franchisee was openly critical of the previous owner told us that there had been a number of issues with the poor quality of the previous owners work. The new franchisee was obliged to fix any problems under guarantee and Bathroom Werx would pay him minimum wage.
The new franchisee stripped back the bath again and resprayed. He was friendly and considerate like the first installer. Unfortunately he used a bright white colour rather than the off-white we had originally installed despite me discussing it with the Bathroom Werx call centre as well as him personally on the phone several weeks previous. He also mistakenly installed the complimentary chrome waste surround, which was also not wanted. I called Bathroom Werx to voice my frustrations and lodge a complaint but they said that ultimately the franchisee is responsible for all works, not the head office. We decided to leave it rather than have him come back at minimum wage to do it all over again.
Another 12 months elapsed and the enamel had begun pitting in several places. The bath had also several chips and a number of scratches from 12 months of use but nothing like the initial catastrophic failure. We called Bathroom Werx again and the installer returned to touch up the problem areas and remove the chrome waste surround at my request. Possibly he has read my complaint to head office the year previously or was having a bad day as he used an off-white tint for the touch up areas. This only became apparent some time after the work. Happily, he did spend some time making the original brass waste surround look fantastic.
More than 12 months later the bath is largely bright white, with the exception of the numerous splotches of off-white. Rust is starting to show through near the plug hole as well. There are a number of chips and scratches but I understand this to be typical of the non-baked enamels used by Bathroom Werx and similar companies which are not as durable as the original baked enamels.
I expect Bathroom Werx would be more than happy to send back the franchisee to again rectify the situation (and will no doubt state this below my review) but I feel I will just be making another call to them in another 12 months and again until the guarantee runs out.
We are currently planning a renovation and we will be having the bath removed and taken to be stripped back completely and coated with an oven-baked enamel. No doubt this will cost more, but I hope it will be a coating to last decades rather than several years.

When the bathroom was first done they had to come back and repair part of it as it hadn’t taken very well, a few months later some bubbling appeared in a different place and that took 2 months and 2 cancelled appointments from them before they came and repaired it and when they had done the repair the two white colours where different. More bubbling for a third time and 3 cancelled appointments later to repair and this one took 4 months from first reporting. The 7 year warranty was what sold me in the first place but it isn’t worth the paper its written on. They have your money and to come out and keep repairing problems is not worth it for them so they don’t want to know. Go elsewhere and save your money and time as I expect to have to go through this again in the near future when somewhere else starts to bubble up.

Poor product, Customer service is terrible, 7 year warranty it isn’t worth the paper it’s written on

I had my bathroom done by Bathroom Werx back in May 2011. Whilst I am happy with the majority of the work, my shower has had to be repaired 3 times & looks like it will be a 4th coming up. The base started with a crack that was quickly repaired & then that discoloured. Repaired again & same deal. 3rd time now the base is very uneven. Some tiles are rough, others smooth as. The rest of my bathroom looks magnificent & brand new. Such a shame. Customer service is lacking. Takes ages for any response to phone calls/emails. I've never had anyone not show up though as others have.
Would I recommend them? Not for showers, but for other things yes, as I'm happy with that. Thank goodness for the warranty!
ease of cleaning, 7yr warranty!
bad customer service, wish they would fix the problem instead of just repairing it!

We had our bathroom re-sprayed not even 2 years ago, in that time frame have had to contact bathroom werx 3 times to come out and fix issues. We were told there would be 3 layers sprayed and it would take 2 days to get the job done. However, it was only sprayed once and the guy only spent half a day in there and said it was all finished so he didn't need to come back the next day. Within days we noticed bubbling in the bathtub and sink, had to wait weeks for someone to come out and have a look and then again another several weeks for them to repair it. They've been out 3 times and each time we need them back to fix things. Not worth your time or money!! Every time they come, nothing gets fixed, just more issues appear. We had them out a couple weeks ago and have noticed peeling again, called up today and we have to wait 4 weeks for something to just come have a look at it - who knows how long we'll wait for It to get fixed again!! Really not worth the hassle.

I booked in for a quote to have our bathrooms resurfaced, bathroom werx made an appointment It was for in 3 weeks time a week prior to appointment we rang to check if they were coming they stated 'yes they would be and someone would ring the day before to make a time with us'. Well they rang the day before to state oh I'm sorry we don't service that area. What a waste of time not very professional would not recommend, think twice before ringing for a quote.

We chose to re-spray our showers as the tiles had hairline cracks after 30 yrs rather than retiling. Main reason was cost and time savings. B.W. did the work in 2 full days. The man doing the job had a technical issue with his equipment but stayed behind late to finish it on the second day. Showers looked brand new :) The job wasn't perfect but was done to a very high quality.

Had our Bathroom resurfaced in 2008, had to have remedial works done many many times over a period of some seven years. After the last repair we were told all will be good, less than 12 months later coating was peeling again the same as it had on all other occasions. Finally we have renovated the whole area due to being so disappointed with the process and the arrogant attitude of Management
