After owning the armband HRM for six months and having numerous problems with heart rate readings, I purchased the chest strap HRM to see if it was any better. Hands down, the chest strap HRM is far superior than the armband. Don’t waste your money on the armband, you should go with the chest strap. Note, I would have rated the chest strap 5 stars if it wasn’t for the 1 star armband.

The base itself is of much higher quality than the original. My original base seemed to have a short in it from the very beginning and if the cord wasn't at the right angle it didn't work. The process of receiving the charger was terrible. I think the shipper lost the package and when I contacted Biostrap I was told I should call the shipper and report it lost. That didn't seem like it should be my responsibility. After all it took over a month (If I remember correctly) to receive the package, all the while I could not use my BioStrap. Finally, the charger doesn't come with a cable or any instructions that I could find so I used a cable I could find and the charger worked for one night then started flashing. I was about ready to give up on Biostrap alltogether when I tried a different USB cable and it has been working well since. Seems like a great product but the customer service and experience left must to be desired.

Interesting data is being measured when it works properly. The time it takes to sync and the number of times a workout, biometric or sleep data is not recorded properly makes regular use of the device quite frustrating.

I had a very poor experience with the customer service team..and was extremely disappointed in how it was handled. This was my first time ordering from Biostrap and planned on purchasing much more health enhancing devices and referring. HR monitor works okay, really like the HRV but I will be returning and going with a different brand due to a poor experience with the customer service of Biostrap.

The customer service provided by Ramona has been superior! I have had the the wrist band fall apart twice(the downside of this story). But it has been replaced on both occasions with excellent customer service, and I hope this band has the proper corrections made to it and will hold up well. I have really enjoyed the biostrap and all the info it provides. The recent updates made to the software that keep the band in better connection to the phone have been appreciated as wel

EVO is good inheritor to original Biostrap. I like that it started synced faster. Biostrap customer support is great and extremely fast. I've noticed that HRV data is bit different from origin Biostrap. Is it?

The BiostrapEVO is definitely faster & has a more efficient battery life. I’ve been comparing it to the original sensor for several weeks now & the upgrade is worth it. The product is solid + backed with a wonderful team. I’ve been impressed with Biostrap’s customer service. They really do care & listen to their customers. Solid product + Customer Care Team = Success all around. Thanks Team!

I always tell my patients, "You can't change what you don't monitor." For the first time ever, I'm beginning to understand EXACTLY how stress and diet affect my sleep and sleep recovery. I've always suspected it, but now I have the actual hard data. With the sleep function alone, I've improved my sleep by 25% in the past two weeks since I've had the device. The only knock that I can give it isn't related to the device itself. It's simply the blue and white bands. They are very difficult to attach and, sometimes when you think you've attached it correctly, it will fall off of my wrist. Needless to say, I don't use those bands, which is a shame. If those bands were exactly the same as the black band, everything would be fine! Again, the device itself is amazing. I absolutely love it, the metrics it tracks, and the positive impact it's having in my life in such a short time. I can't wait to see what life is like after wearing it for 6 or 12 months. The extra band issue is the only thing keeping this from being 5 stars. Dr. B

Have had the Biostrap for a few weeks now and primarily use it for sleep readings. Love the measures, but have had inconsistent synching with my android phone. Actually can't tell when it synchs with the app. Would recommend two changes: A button or prompt to indicate or initiate synching and 2. A better band to keep firmly on wrist. The bands supplied are nice but don't provide the user with a satisfactory level of confidence to wear outside of the house. Sticking with them for now. Customer Service is VERY GOOD and listens to suggestions with encouraging feedback.

Great concepruslization and execution: HRV as well as HR, Oxygenation as well as Respiration, awesome activity tracking and data visualization. My only compliants are that I’d love to have accurate continuous HR measurement throughout exercise so it’s all in one place; and given all this data, I’d really like to be able to download it so I can track and analyze it.

I have been chatting with Caitlin, my sleep is not being properly recorded, It does not point where I am in relation to others and it is not taking my HR at all. OI am still waiting for her to get back to me on this issue

I have been using my Biostrap for about 10 days, and the tracking and information it provides me of my overall health, exercise, sleep, etc., is wonderful, and I have just 'scratched the surface' in using it. I look forward to continue using Biostrap to enhance and compliment my endeavors to strengthen my overall athletic abilities and health. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to better understand their selves, their bodies, and how/where they want to strengthen, enhance, or improve their lives, stamina, health, etc.

Device ok doesn’t hold charge for more then two days!! Paid for two day shipping and it took 7 days and they are like sorry once it leaves our facility there is nothing we can do if it sits at a shipping company! I would think you’d have a good contract for services you are making people pay for!

I bought this to compare to a competitive product that I have used for the past 5 months and have found that the Biostrap is more convenient and comfortable to wear and use. Charges faster and holds longer and the data is more comprehensive. The only "however" is the activity recording being a manually initiated process. I have multiple training apps and I would like to be able to import the data from those into the Biostrap or have automatic recording of activities. All metrics seem to be accurate with no outlying data so far but that manual recording of activities needs to be addressed in the software.

I wasn't too happy with the product it could use some improvements. The software syncing is slow and I found the sleep to be inaccurate. I would go to bed at 11 pm and the stats would tell me I went to bed at 10 pm. This happened several time consistently. I didn't like how I was unable to see my heart rate on demand. You just see a time frame of when the device measured the heart rate. The strap would come off at night and I found the rubber to be itchy. The company claims to have improved the strap. I think they should try again.

I've had my biostrap for about a month now. The wrist strap is leaving sores on my wrist, I sent in photos via Twitter DM and haven't heard back. Anytime I attempt to switch to the "insights" tab in the app it keeps crashing. The activity tracker didn't log my activity either and I'm not sure if I'm really getting my money's worth. Going with 2 stars because the aspirations of this company are very high, but the service and product issues are a bit disappointing. Just got the ankle strap recently and want to really give it a thorough run through. Just hoping I didn't make the wrong product purchase. Would be happy to connect with a team member and discuss asynchronously via email.
