Bodyguardz.com Reviews & Complaints (30)

I have placed two orders with BodyGuardz over the past several months, one for screen protectors for two smart phones and another for a Nook Color. The screen protectors are durable, have a nice feel, and do not unduly add glare to the screen. On my second order, I researched the various options and selected a product in part because the product description stated that it included two screen protectors (the same as for both of the smartphone protectors I previously ordered). Upon receiving only one screen protector, I checked back on their website to verify that the product description indeed listed two protectors included per order (which it did). Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that I was wrong and that only one screen protector was included. I checked their site again, and they changed the product description to reflect one per order. If I had only checked their website once, I might have believed that I had made a mistake, but having checked their site a second time only hours before they responded to my service request, I don't believe for a second that I was mistaken multiple times. Needless to say, I will fulfilling my screen protector needs from another merchant in the future.

We bought 2 screen protectors for both Iphone 6 plus. Mine broke. My 4 year old child dropped it on the wooden floor. After making an account with Body Guardz, I was told that there would be a small processing fee, which includes shipping the new screen under guarantee. The small fee came to be $18.11, plus I had to pay shipping to send my broken one, which is about $5 or so. So, it all comes to $23, where I can buy new one for $30????

I got a new Iphone last Summer 2016. The AT&T gentleman helping me transfer my info. added the EXPENSIVE $35 Screen protector. I was somewhat shocked, but added it up to - oh well - at least my contacts are now in new phone. The "lifetime" screen lasted less than 60 days before cracking. I contacted company online and gave them my info. and receipt of previous purchase. They sent out a new LIFETIME screen protector and charged me about $7 shipping. This NEW protector - also lasted LESS than 60 days before cracking. My charge card now has a NEW charge of $42.75. TOTAL SCAM. Have disputed charge w/ my CREDITCARD. Do not purchase.

What is the purpose of the 2 year replacement policy IF cell phone manufacturers discontinue and replace model numbers so fast. BodyGuardz policy is to discontinue the replacement as soon as the model itself is discontinued. What you end up with is an overpriced display protector and when you need a replacement, too bad, you lose! Don't get sucked in because you will find yourself like me, with an overpriced scratched screen protector.

I bought my phone from At&T and i trusted it them when they sold me this screensaver for $50, (which is way more cheaper on their website!) told me that i have lifetime warranty! It is a bad product, you can not text with this thing on and it broke in only 2 days. Checked their website and saw that i have to pay more money for the mailing, so i paid for the mailing but somehow the postman could not find my address and send it back! I Had an email that i could pay again for the mailing to have the product with a link for review which link was broken!
So not happy with the product and the service!

Got the screen protector a week ago, falls of phone, don't stick, hard to press screen, they don't do refunds. Total junk. Horrible customer service. Don't buy this stuff, is a scam.

I had a Bodyguardz Pure screen protector on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet. The tablet is also in a Samsung protective cover so I thought I was pretty well protected. Not so. It cracked anyway. Tried to get a replacement through their Advantage Replacement Program. Forget that if your device isn't the latest and greatest. Ordered a replacement and they canceled my order because they don't carry anything but a film protector for my device. So to summarize, the product did it's job but don't count on "lifetime replacements".

I am not one to just jump to leaving bad reviews, but after giving this company time and time again to make it right, they have proven themselves at the worst company I have ever dealt with. My first screen order, the screen broke in my purse (no traumatic events, just sitting there). I contacted them asking for a refund as I just purchased this item and it did not stand up to their "8 foot drop guarantee". You can guess...they said no; they don't stand behind their product at all. I thought "okay, I will give them another shot, after all I did just invest a good amount of money into a screen". Next 2 orders were okay, still eventually the screen would chip in 3 months (without ever dropping it!) and I would have to order a new one. I recently moved to AZ and the order was shipped to a jargled address between my new address and my old address (still my billing address). After not receiving the product for 2 weeks I called and emailed...with no response. Finally when I did get ahold of someone they said that the product they had sent had been returned to them because of an incorrect address. (I'm not putting total blame on them, maybe I did type the address wrong although you would think their system would catch an incorrect address). Anyway, when I finally did get ahold of someone they basically said, yeah it was returned to us. We won't send it to the correct address, but you can order a new one...no thanks. And why they didn't inform their paying customer that their item they have been waiting on wasn't delivered and instead returned to them...no idea. Did I mention they aren't even loyal enough for their customers to send pre-paid shipping for the return of your **** quality screen. I've had enough...I'll stop wasting my money and find a company that shows value to their customers.

I was sold 2 of them for two new iphones. AT&T installed in the store. Within 2 weeks, the product was showing bubbles on the edges. Within in 3 weeks of purchase, both of them cracked. I took it back to AT&T (a joke) and they said I had to go through Bodyguardz.

They'll send me a new one, but I have to pay shipping both ways..the new one and returning the old one. Don't waste your time and money on this. You know they're not worth their salt when they won't get it right! This goes for AT&T, who sold it to me, as well.

The first one I wanted to blame the AT&T representative, because it fell off my phone within 2 days then it cracked. I ordered a replacement, after waiting 3 weeks, because I couldn't find the time to get back to AT&T. I was told to go to bodyguardz.com. So, I did and I have had my screen protector replacement for 2 days again, and it fell off my phone again. This time, I dropped my phone and the screen protector fell off. Now, it's dirty and of course won't stick - eventhough it didn't stick in the first place. This is such a poor design concept. Why would you only have adhesive in a small area around the edges. It needs to be on th e entire thing. It needs to stick to my phone. What a joke. 50$ for nothing.

About three years ago my wife and I bought Samsung Galaxy S5 phones, and from the AT&T store we bought Bodyguardz screen protectors with what seemed great, a lifetime replacement guarantee! Wow, for a handling charge of about $7, we could get a brand new protector. So my wife's protector got cracked and I went to Bodyguardz.com to order a replacement. None available -- what? Since it was after hours, I emailed the company and the next morning got a message back: they only stock screen guards until they run out of stock, until demand decreases. So the lifetime guarantee is not for MY lifetime, or the PHONE'S lifetime, but THEIR SUPPLY's lifetime! I called Customer Service and spoke with a sympathetic person, but she could do nothing for me, as they did not have a single one in stock and would not order more.

Had I known when I fist bought the screen protector that I could only replace it for about two years, I may have still bought it to protect my investment, but I most likely would have looked elsewhere. I suggest that any reader of this review do the same -- look elsewhere!

Did not last one week. Did not mishandle my phone, they send me a new one but that didnt even last me one day. Called them for a refund said they couldn't. They said if I wanted something else it was going to be more. I already paid $50 for the first one, if your product don't work give me my refund.

I ordered a replacement screen protector because mines cracked a few days after having it, I mailed in the old screen protector with the envelope the provided & they had the nerve to charge me $39.95 saying they never received it , that I should’ve sent it be certified or overnight. I was never told this & why should I pay extra when I paid 5
$5.95 to send the replacement. I HATE them they are scammers!!

Bought it from AT&T - paid $60+ and after less than a week the first crack was showing up (Galaxy Note 8) for no reason. After a few more weeks and without reason (full protective case also around the phone - no dropping and I have an office job where the phone sits next to my keyboard all day long) the screen protector looks like a spider-web.
I tried to order a replacement protector, $10 + tax for shipping plus you have to ship back the broken glass, all at your own expense. Not to mention you have to provide a credit card which makes me really nervous and others' here have already stated they got charged without reason.
Just avoid these guys - pure scam, order a decent protector from amazon or the likes and you will pay less than you pay in total for the replacement. Reading on this page, I'm not the only one having problems with their products and customer service.
ATT is not doing themselves any favors reselling these products - they probably never used one themselves.

I purchased a case and pure screen protector combo from AT&T when i purchased my S7 on 01/09/2017 putting my complete confidence in the product. Well tonight 09/01/2018 i dropped my phone for its first ever real bump and heard a pronounced cracking, so i picked the phone up and to my horror saw cracks everywhere, but feeling confident began to peel off the screen "protector" waiting to see the cracks peel away with it leaving a pristine phone screen underneath until i noticed that the cracks weren't coming off with the "protector" and once fully removed to my dismay i could see that my phones screen was utterly obliterated... So much for any protection whatsoever, the screen is shattered beyond belief and i cant even assess where the point of impact was because of how many cracks there are and when you remove the "protector" it self destructs as well taking any evidence with it. I cant even utilize my screen protector warranty because i now need to get a new phone. Thanks.

I have had my phone for 3 months, I bought one of these screan protectors when I bought my new phone. it was over 50.00 for the screan protector with lifetime replacement. I barely bump my phone and the stupid thing pops off. i have replaced 3 times and need another one now. they will send new one but you have to pay 10.99 for shipping. so i have over 100.00 in a screan protector that is always broke and falling off my phone. Walmart brand stay on better than this does and is a lot cheaper..
