This is an excellent Japanese snack box subscription. It's not inexpensive, but the quality of the snacks has been first rate. Lots of different types, flavors and styles. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a monthly box of different Japanese snacks to sample.

A unique Japanese snack experience with carefully curated foods and teas from across Japan. I love the variety and focus on differing regions each month. I also greatly appreciated the booklet included with each shipment describing the region(s), snacks and creators (as well as the helpful Japanese words tutorial).

I bought a subscription as a gift for 6 months. I cancelled my sub over 6 months ago. I woke up today to find an email stating that I've been charged and my order will ship in a week.

Well isn't this a surprise...I contact support and explain that I don't want this and that the address for the gift recipient is no longer valid. I'm told that you agreed to the terms and conditions and since my order is already being processed they can't do anything. Which is sure strange as the email says it takes a week to ship from today. So great I paid money to ship something to a random address and the company seems unwilling to assist.

I've used snakku before and would highly recommend them over this company. Snakku gives you email alerts a week out before you are charged so you have time to cancel orders in advance and imo offer a better selection of items. I'm unable to remove my saved payment method from my bokksu account and they hide historical account information so I'm unable to view my sub history. How in the world was the sub skipped for 6 months and suddenly charging me again? I know this was disabled. Buyer beware.

I've been subscribed to Bokksu for a couple months now. Right now one of my orders is delayed because of coronavirus but I'm not worried because I've never had an issue before and I really love how transparent they've been about communicating with us throughout these delays. When I first subscribed I was between them and Tokyotreat (a friend had a subscription) but I liked that the Bokksu snacks are more premium and less like cheap chips and candy, and I think I made the right choice!

Japan has the best packaged snacks in the world, and Bokksu is a great way to get some of them to enjoy at home every month. It is an excellent service - snack selection, packaging, delivery and the brochure that comes with each box are all top-notch. We love our Bokksu!

Bokksu is one of the available websites where you can get traditional Japanese treats. Not the touristy stuff you get when you travel there but rather the typical snacks local people munch on. I live in France and am really happy to get my box every month to discover new sweet and savory snacks.
I also like to access the market at all times as it allows for extra orders for my favourite snacks or teas.
I love them!

I really treasure getting a taste of Japan in these awesome boxes as I grew to love the Japanese people and their food esp the snacks. I loved going into 7-11 in Japan and wished our 7-11;s were half as good as the ones in japan. Thank you Bokksu for helping me continue to enjoy the Japanese food. Jeshua

I first signed up for Bokksu for two reasons. First just to give it a try for a year and secondly for my son who really likes to try things specifically anything from Japan. As time goes I have been ordering extra things and I will continue

I went to Japan last year, and after leaving I missed eating the foods so much. I loved getting this box because it reminds me of the great stuff I got in Japan. There is a mix of both savory and sweet snacks and a guide that explains all of them and which part of Japan they're from. This is my favorite Japan box because I feel like I get the full experience. There is also a market on the Bokksu website where you can buy the individual snacks you liked best out of the box to eat again!

For Christmas and New Year gifts, I ordered a Bokksu Hokkaido Winter Delight box for a client who is a native Japanese residing in New York City. She was so happy and told me that the snacks tasted so delicious that she missed home.
I also ordered a Kyoto Autumn box and green tea for our office. Can't help remembering the beauty of Kyoto and the time I stayed at the Japanese style hotel while I was there.
Japan is always my favorite nation to visit. Thank you Bokksu for bringing back all the lovely memories through my taste buds.

Very lovely, I got the subscription for Christmas in 2018 and I'm still going with it, it's absolutely lovely!
The only thing I think could make the subscriptions better was if you could choose between a couple choices of sweet-to-savory ratios in the boxes, since I prefer sweets and it feels like a waste if I need to throw out some of the savories I didn't like.
Otherwise I'm very happy with it!

I love this snack box so much!My mom and I are so excited to get this box every month, it has a big part in making our month for us! 10/10 would recommend,I'm not getting paid to write this review either lol! I genuinely love this snack box, I let my cousin try it and she scarfed down the whole thing!

I bought a 3-month subscription for my daughter for her birthday. We love the snacks and the booklet that comes with the box. My daughter will be getting one more box. I wish I could get a longer subscription, but it’s a bit pricy. I will probably do a 3 month subscription again for her sometime this year.

The first time we,me and my friend, try Bokksu we took a 3 month subcribtion on the classic beaucause we wanted have opinion on Bokksu.Weren't desapointed,the box is nicely pack with a culture guide that we did appreciate!Fell in love with the matcha tea association, cake, mochi and the contrast of the cold and hot matcha!All the multiple snank combinaison is so well thought...Briefly, we just had sweet potato cake,the smell of butter, the light sweetness and the buttery taste was heaven!

I absolutely love this subscription I’m currently waiting for my second box which is taking a little longer then expected but understandable with the current news the snacks included with the subscription are absolutely amazing still getting used to a few of them but I absolutely love the white chocolate strawberries and the cake that they send overall it’s an amazing subscription and I will be continuing with it
