In April, my dad transferred EUR 268,833 to Booking Health for the treatment of my uncle. Unfortunately, my uncle died before starting treatment, but we agreed with Booking Health not to refund us, because at the same time my 9-year-old son was diagnosed with a recurrence of the malignant tumor and we wanted Booking Health to arrange treatment for him abroad.
Booking Health offered us treatment in 2 clinics, but the proposed treatment did not suit us - e.g. in one of the clinics it was too radical: on the removal of the entire lobe of the lung, while other clinics we contacted on our own - and not recommended by Booking Health - did not confirm such a necessity.
On August 9, we informed Booking Health that we would not use any of the clinics it proposed and we are asking for a refund. Of course, we counted on the fact that the company would deduct a certain amount - as it turned out later, this amount was EUR 45,447.90. In response, the representative of the company: Mrs. Elli Engels wrote that by September 3 at the latest, the financial department would send us the remaining amount, equal to EUR 223,385.10.
Unfortunately, not only that the company Booking Health still has not sent us the money, but also from September 3 to today (September 19) the company does not answer our e-mails or phone calls at all.
Our refund requests always state that we need money to treat our 9-year-old son.
Therefore, for reasons unknown to us, we have money blocked: the amount of EUR 223,385.10 for the treatment of our child suffering from malignant cancer.
I am desperate that in the face of such a difficult situation in which, unfortunately, we find ourselves - the recurrence of a malignant tumor in our 9-year-old child - we now have another problem: for reasons unknown to us, the company Booking Health does not want to return our money (EUR 223,385.10), that we want to spend on continuing the child's treatment.
Of course, I have all the proofs of the truthfulness of my words (transfers, e-mail correspondence), so if anyone is interested in the details, please write to me.
We have to take the case to court.
The worst part is that the company prevents us from further treating the child.

W kwietniu mój tata przelał kwotę 268.833 EUR firmie Booking Health na leczenie mojego wujka. Niestety, wujek przed rozpoczęciem leczenia zmarł, jednakże ustaliliśmy z firmą Booking Health, żeby nie zwracali nam pieniędzy, gdyż w tym samym czasie u mojego 9 letniego syna zdiagnozowano wznowę nowotworu złośliwego i chcieliśmy, aby firma Booking Health zorganizowała dla niego leczenie za granicą.
Firma Booking Health zaproponowała nam leczenie w 2 klinikach, jednak zaproponowane leczenie nie odpowiadało nam- np w jednej z klinik było zbyt radykalne: miało polegać m.in. na usunięciu całego płata płuca, natomiast inne kliniki, z którymi we własnym zakresie się kontaktowaliśmy- a nie polecone przez Booking Health- nie potwierdziły takiej konieczności.
Dnia 9 sierpnia poinformowaliśmy firmę Booking Health, że nie skorzystamy z żadnych zaproponowanych przez nią klinik i prosimy o zwrot pieniędzy. Oczywiście liczyliśmy się z tym, że firma potrąci pewną kwotę - jak się potem okazało kwota ta to 45.447,90 EUR. W odpowiedzi przedstawiciel firmy: Pani Elli Engels napisała, że najpóźniej do dnia 3 września dział finansowy odeśle nam pozostałą kwotę równą 223.385,10 EUR.
Niestety nie dość, że firma firma Booking Health nadal nie odesłała nam pieniędzy, to dodatkowo od dnia 3 września do dnia dzisiejszego (19 września) firma w ogóle nie odpowiada na nasze maile ani telefony.
W naszych prośbach o zwrot pieniędzy za każdym razem jest zawarta informacja, że pieniądze są nam niezbędne na leczenie naszego 9-letniego syna.
W związku z powyższym z nieznanych nam przyczyn mamy zablokowane pieniądze: kwotę 223.385,10 EUR na leczenie naszego chorego na nowotwór złośliwy dziecka.
Jestem zrozpaczona, że w obliczu tak trudnej sytuacji, w jakiej niestety się znajdujemy- wznowa nowotworu złośliwego u naszego 9-letniego dziecka- mamy teraz kolejny problem: z nieznanych nam przyczyn firma Booking Health nie chce nam oddać pieniędzy (223.385,10 EUR), które chcemy przeznaczyć na kontynuowanie leczenia dziecka.
Oczywiście mam wszystkie dowody na prawdziwość moich słów (przelewy, korespondencja mailowa), więc jeśli ktoś jest zainteresowany, proszę do mnie napisać maila: [email protected]
Załączam także pismo od firmy Booking Health z dnia 27 sierpnia, w którym firma zobowiązuje się do zwrotu kwoty: 223.385,10 EUR.
Musimy skierować sprawę na drogę sądową.
Najgorsze jest to, że firma uniemożliwia nam dalsze leczenie dziecka.
Załączam oficjalne pismo od firmy Booking Health, które w 100% potwierdza prawdziwość i wiarygodność moich słów.

"You have booked a program to Munich [..] but due the request appointment from your side was in the same time of the holiday of the doctor"
-- we have a very clear email from your colleague stating that the hospital in Munich does not treat international patients! Holiday?! Lies!
"you have received only 1 bill from the clinic and that bill was with an amount of 1105.16€ (that was the bill only of the provided diagnosis what you have made but not the final bill). The final bill from the clinic was in the amount of 3000 €."
-- the "final bill" you sent us for 3000 € is clearly marked 'Kostenvoranschlag' (german for “cost estimate”), and dated June 11th 2019. Our appointment was for July 9th so how can this be "final bill"? One month before?!? Rip off!!

After reading the good reviews posted here, we trusted BookingHealth with our savings of 5.800 € in order to help us investigate our 1-year-old daughter's epilepsy condition. What a big mistake!
First, they tell us the hospital we have booked in Munchen had a "meeting" and decided our case was too complicated and we should see a more experienced doctor in Bonn. We were worried but we believed. After much insistence in providing us with a written explanation from the hospital we found out from another "travel agent" that it was a LIE. The hospital, in fact, was not accepting international patients. We also called the hospital directly and confirmed...
But this was nothing... we went to the clinic, found a very arrogant doctor who told us nothing we didn't already know. All "investigations" took 2 hours (waiting times included). After the bad experience we had so far, we demanded the bill directly from the clinic at the end - it was 1100 €
Well, we said, at least we will get most of our money back to continue our investigations... BookingHealth agent told us to wait for the final calculation. So we wait.. and wait.. after 3 weeks we get it! We look closely - it's from another patient!!! (very "confidential" information...)
We tell them it's a mistake and they tell us again to wait... and we wait... 2 more weeks - we get the "final final calculation": from the 5.800€ we paid, they will give us back 820€ !!!
After many attempts to reason with them by e-mail and getting no answer we have no other option than to make our story public and if nothing helps, file complaints with Verbraucherzentrale Bonn and econsumer.gov and do whatever we can by legal means to recover our money and continue investigations for our daughter!
How can you rip off people with health problems? Are those problems not enough? And especially deprive children of further investigations and a chance of a normal life? What kind of people are you?
Stay away from BookingHealth !!!
After that my case was handel by Mrs Anna who she were in the same level of professionalism as Mr Moustafa, she helped me to prepare all necessary document for Visa, she set up an appointment for me and she provide me with the best interpreter Ms Marwa.
Upon arrival i find a VIP car waiting me in the airport and took me from Frankfurt to Moenchengladbach.
the surgery went perfectly and now i feel as i had no problem with my spinal.
Finally i would like to thank all the team of Booking Health for their efforts and professionalism, i really would recommend them for all people who are looking for treatment aboard.
