I ordered $100 Lowe’s gift card over a week ago it’s still says ordered. Has not showed up in my wallet. I have emailed several times with no response. I have used Cardpool several times in the past and have never had an issue but this time I’m getting really frustrated! Will not buy from them again

I have purchased many cards from them with no issues, however, I have also purchased cards that are already registered to another person and I am not able to add them to my Starbucks or Caribou account. The whole point is to be able to use the card on my account, not someone else's.

After repeated attempts, I still have not received an answer from customer service, my emails are continually ignored.

DON'T BUY OR SELL CARDS WITH CARDPOOL!

I bought 3 AMC gift cards worth $50 that were delivered electronically. One worked. The other two were invalid according to the theater and the AMC website. I emailed them my order number and waited since their auto-reply says it may take them a few days to respond. I have been waiting since May 16 and I even emailed once again just to give them a chance. I have dealt with them twice before with no problems. Today I disputed the charge on my credit card. I found them through the American Airlines Aadvantage shopping portal where you get miles for purchases. I am going to notify AA also so they will know what a disreputable company they are dealing with.

My debit card was stolen and someone charged 3 separate charges totally almost $2,000! I called while the charges were still pending, hoping I could get them to stop before they were actually processed. There is no hold option; only an option to leave your name and phone number and "they'll get back to you" because your business is so very important to them. I called and left 3 messages, I wrote through facebook and 3 separate times I responded to their emails asking if my issue had been resolved. I didn't get one single reply to any of inquiries and the charges have now gone through. Absolutely horrible customer service. I will never use this company for anything!

Cardpool currently owes me about $300 due to bad cards (cards with no balance), and it has been about 8 weeks now since I initially contacted them, and have had multiple follow up emails with absolutely no response! DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET IT! THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!

Have used Cardpool for years with no problems-even had a card with a 0 balance and they took care of it right away. However, apparently they are now only concerned with selling cards and not backing up their 1 year guarantee. Purchased an Express card for a Christmas gift and when my daughter in law tried to use it recently, it had a 0 balance. Wrote to Cardpool and received their polite immediate auto reply that they would get back to me in a few business days. Okay, good....so while I was already on the site and planning to take my daughter to a movie over the weekend, I purchased a Regal card. Tried to use it 2 days later and it was invalid. Contacted them about the problem and got the same auto reply. That was 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for replies regarding both of the invalid cards. Have written follow up emails 3 times and had no replies. Found their phone number on GetHuman and left a message. While their machine promises a call back, I never received one. Needless to say I will NEVER use Cardpool again. Hope my story helps keep someone else from getting scammed.

At the end of May, I had traded in a Gamestop gift card for an Amazon gift card. No response for a week, asked for an update and got an autoresponse but still no Amazon card. Terrible customer service.

I sold three cards for $148.00 (face value was $200). That was three weeks ago that I sent them through USPS...they haven't given me my Amazon code, nor will they return my emails! Why?!

I sent three credit cards to them on January 14, 2019. I was supposed to get a check for $124.00. NOTHING- No Customer Service. I left messages ,e- mails.
NOTHING! I contacted BBB ten days ago- they haven’t responded!
I’m shocked! I really needed the money! I GOT ROBBED AND SO WILL YOU! Stay Away.

To anyone who sold gift cards to Cardpool and their payment is ‘in review’: My order was “in review” for 3 weeks. I went ahead and sold my $250 Ticketmaster gift card number with pin # to CardCash.com and got paid in 1 business day with no fee via PayPal. I called to check their customer service and got through to a friendly rep. CardCash is the real deal. CardPool smells scammy. CardCash paid $10 less but it was way worth it having that money securely and swiftly in my bank account. So if your transaction is ‘IN REVIEW’ - go ahead and submit your Card and Pin #s elsewhere - and delete your Cardpool payment info and cancel your order !

Sold 3 cards totally $127 on December 25th, 2018. They required mail in for these particular cards. It is February 20th, 2019 (almost a full two months later). I have no money/reimbursement, nor have I been sent back my cards. They’re basically asking for lawsuits.

I used Cardpool on Feb 25th, 2019 to exchange an Apple gift card for Amazon store credit. I have read the reviews, checked the value that I would be paid for my $200 card and proceeded to the transaction. Cardpool said that the credit will be ready in a couple of days but I am now writing this on March 20th and NO CREDIT! Worse still, Cardpool does not respond to my emails. Terrible customer service. I don't recommend. Avoid.

I have had a great experience with Cardpool over the last year (since summer 2018), with same day turnaround on my gift card sells to them for cash. However, on June 26 I sold them another gift card and did not hear from them, it was in review. I finally sent an email inquiry on July 14th and received an immediate response that they had processed the transaction and a check would be sent out within 2 business days.

Here is the comment: "We are significantly behind in processing the sell requests. We hope to have automation turned back on in the near future so we can stop processing 100% of the orders manually." It sounds like they are struggling financially? (That is pure speculation but this seems more a cash flow issue than systems automation problems...)

I am still waiting for check 6 days later, although they said it could take up to 10 business days. As a former happy customer, I am now unlikely to do business with them again.

Their website says, "While it will typically only take ten minutes for you to receive your eGift card, it can take up to 1 business day if further verification is needed." It's now been two months. Unfortunately I sold them 5 gift cards at the same time. (I use the word sold hesitantly, as really they STOLE them). They don't respond to any contact, not even when I went ahead and filed a BBB complaint a couple weeks ago. I have no idea WTF is going on. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Over 3 months after I listed several gift cards, still waiting for them to return one card that they claim was invalid or had no value (which is not true), and they cancelled what they owed me for the "good" cards. Canned responses from customer service as well as replies that made no sense in terms of what I was waiting for. At one point, they claimed that the card had been returned to me as of a date that was over 4 weeks in the past, claiming that it was taking 4-6 weeks for returned cards to be received. Well past the 6 week mark now and still no card. While I had very good experiences with other gift card buying services, this one was beyond disappointing. I will not ever do business with them again and would discourage others from doing so.

Placed order two days ago for an order I wanted to expedite. Had I known it takes longer than snail mail I wouldn't have wasted my time. Seriously, there is no reason they can't provide instant delivery. Frustrated.

Sold my $300 card to them 2/7/19, was supposed to get my credit in 1-3 business days. Today is 2/15/19, never heard back from them. Called twice and left a message as no one picks up and emailed three times. What a joke, must be a scam. Saw an article online about how they are under new ownership and cards are taking a lot longer to get processed. Lame
