Carpet Right

Purchased carpet recently from the Brookvale store. Greg was was a great help and demonstrated excellent product knowledge and understood our needs exactly. The installation guys were on time, professional and efficient. Altogether a very good experience for what initially we feared would be a difficult process.

From the courteous attention in the showroom shown by Roger to the installation of the carpets by 2 very helpful and cheerful young guys Jamie and Kincaid, the whole thing went smoothly. They did a great job and the new carpeted rooms look beautiful. Also they helped with moving some heavy furniture. The price was very fair compared to a major retailer nearby whose quote was $1000 more and they wanted to charge extra for moving any furniture.

We recently had new carpet installed by Carpet Right and wanted to make note of the two young men that came and laid it. They were extremely professional, courteous and went out of their way to be helpful in removing and returning our furniture. These two young men were exemplary in representing their company and we would not hesitate to use Carpet Right again based on how exceptional these young men were.

I'm a property manager, delighted with the high level of quality service offered by Jordan from Carpet Right, he was very prompt in providing a quote, the price was fair and installment was done as per schedule, the tenant was also satisfied with the service provided by Jordan

Dealing with [name removed] (Useless) at the Chatswood branch for the last 3months now. When he says he will call you back he never will.

I was promised an install date in November, Came to time of install and they could not go through with their promise, So i decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as things can come up. Rescheduled a install for before Christmas, then get told that none of their installers want to do the Job. Finally they get an installer that's willing to do the job, but now they wanting to quote me an additional $1600.00. [name removed] wanted the business so bad that we even brought up the commission he will make from the deal. Eventually we came to a agreement for a smaller amount to be added to get the install once and for all completed.

Now its January and I still have no Vinyl installed. Installer comes through and tell's me that the quote did not include the entire area that I told was needed to be done. This is after I had to walk THREE different measures around the business explaining what was needed to be done. I speak with [name removed] and he proceeds to tell me that this is what was agreed upon and that he sent me floor plans(this was never done, until 5 minutes after he said he had). I am then told by the installer that their warehouse told him to just install the job regardless that I said that nothing will proceed until the agreed space is included(I cant have half a business with carpet and the rest with Vinyl)

I have called the Head Office so that I don't need to deal with [name removed] but all they do is forward on my message and he calls me back and nothing happens.

Lets see what today holds, hopefully SOMEONE from their Head Office will call me.

Update.
No one has called me back and now [name removed] has gone on leave. I spoke with [name removed] from their head office and he basically laughed off the issue and said we will just refund me the amount.

We will be going else where.

Great service a pleasant experience

Had a nightmare getting vinyl installed, Firstly they gave me a day for laying it and when the layer failed to show they discovered they hadn't even ordered the product so it wasn't in their warehouse. Layer failed to show SEVERAL TIMES and when he finally did, it was the worst job i have ever seen. Took ages then to get the work repaired. Some of it is still laid with crooked joins.

Very impressed by the two young men Jack and Mitchell who installed carpet in my 3 bedrooms this week. They were courteous, obliging and did a very good job.

From the time my wife and I first entered the showroom in Brookvale, the friendly service and product assistance was excellent, particularly from Paul. When came the time to have the carpet layed, the boys were professional and tidied up everything and put the furniture back. All in all, I would recommend Carpet Right over others, and we went to a few, for price, quality and service.

I have just replaced carpet with vinyl plank flooring on one level of my home. The site conditions were a bit tricky and Greg from Carpet Right Northbridge was extremely helpful in making sure that the product choice and the laying contractor were both perfect for the job. I am thrilled with end result, even more so because the whole experience from the first moment I entered the store was professional, friendly and hassle free. I'm now going to re-carpet upstairs level and of course I've chosen Carpet Right Northbridge for that job too!

September 8th 2017 Update: Good work Carpet Right Northbridge

Thanks Greg at Carpet Right Northbridge on helping me selecting my new carpet and having it laid very professionally. I'm very happy with the job and will be recommending you and Carpet Right to anyone who asks me.

Purchased Galway Pointe carpet from Carpet Right in Crows Nest in September 2010. By the 5 year mark the carpet had stretched to leave unsightly bubbles throughout all rooms. Carpet in otherwise good condition. Not sure if the problem is crappy carpet or poor installation, either way after contacting the company they said for a fee they would restretch the carpet, no admission of fault. I suspect the carpet would stretch further given the condition it is now in so not sure of the value of restretch so I declined their 'generous' offer. Now another year later and the carpet if bubbling all over the place and is close to replacement simply for this issue.

The invoice I have from the company clearly state 'We offer a lifetime warranty on installation' however the companies response was 'Between the installation date and now, I can’t rightfully offer that the service would be done under warranty at no charge I’m afraid.
24 months from layed date is the maximum dwell time outlined by the Australian Carpet Institute by which we are governed.' Take note, if you are older than 2 years you've already lived past your lifetime, or is one meant to replace carpet every two years?

My advice, find someone else who will stand behind their product and the installation.

Have left us with a gap between old and new carpet that they are now denying was included even though we showed the salesman photos and spoke to the man who can to measure about it.

After the fitter left the job incomplete the salesman was meant to calm back with an additional quote to flix it and we are still waiting over a week later.

Have also just discovered that they have automatically taken the balance of payment from my credit card without approval, a small sentence on an invoice given by the fitter does not constitute approval.

Overall shocking service, we will now need to pay someone else to complete the job, would not recommend.

This is our fourth carpet installation by Carpet Right Belrose over 32 years. This time we chose Lawson Brand in Cathedral Grey with Stepright underlay for the most luxurious comfort possible . We appreciate the excellent sales service and advice and the careful detailed installation by the highly qualified and friendly team.

Carpet Right at Northbridge provided excellent service and competitive price and Greg was very patient taking particular note of my specific concerns/requests. The carpet layers were professional, courteous and efficiently removed furniture as required and put everything back in place leaving no rubbish on completion. A job well done.
