I bought a couple of brass charcoal holders from CJAS primarily for use in a figure drawing class I am currently taking. The service was great, and the products are wonderful. At the end of class, I am the only one who doesn't look like I have been mining coal all day. I looked all over before I found this item at Joe's. Everybody has a lot of stuff; Joe seems to have the things that the other guys don't.

The new watercolor paints I ordered from Cheap Joe were just what I needed to end the winter doldrums- no grays for me- I picked out a bunch of new, wild colors that will help me welcome spring! CJ always has what I want, and at the best price!

I ordered two watercolor paint sets from Joe's. When I received them I realized that I had ordered the wrong paints. I called Joe's to get info about returning them and getting the correct paints. I followed their instructions, sent the paints back, Joe's accepted them, and quickly sent me the correct paints. Problem solved and, P.S. - the paints are great.

I had a Question about a specific art supply mentioned in one of the video's I bought from Cheap Joe's Art stuff. Since they weren't sure of the answer they gave me the artist's email address to get the answer to my question! A big thank you shout out to Web in customer service for your help! Thank you so much. You all never disappoint me.

I bought 3 of the Miller's Traditions Gallery Wood Frames, 20" x 24" size, then didn't end up using them for over a year. They appeared to be identical to Timberline frames I have purchased elsewhere and used a number of times. The wood frame was of good quality, obvious even without opening the shrink-wrapping. But when I opened the Miller's Traditions package, I found that the plexiglass was unacceptably thin. It appeared to be about 1/4 of the Timberline plexiglass thickness. When I put art in the frame, the plexiglass distorts the viewing and is very noticeably wavy. I just spoke with Cheap Joe's. I was told that this is an economy frame — but nowhere on the Web site is it described that way. I was told that it could be a problem if it is used in a float frame (where a spacer is added all around to keep the art from touching the plexiglass) — but nowhere on the Web site is that problem mentioned. And of course they will not give a refund on the two unopened frames, because I purchased them over a year ago. To buy an acceptably thick plexiglass would probably be more expensive than just trashing the Cheap Joe's frames and buying new Timberline frames. This was my first and only experience with Cheap Joe's. I will not buy from them again.

I placed my order on 5/23/19. The label was printed on 5/24, but when I went to check on progress on 5/27 it was shown as not yet with UPS. I e-mailed customer support, but by the time they replied, 2 days later, the package had been received on 5/28. I’m guessing that it sat somewhere over the Memorial Day weekend. I finally received the package at my home on Tuesday, June 4th after it sat at the local post office for a couple of days. That’s 12 days from order to receipt. With another company a very similar order took 5 days. This was not a great experience from a time perspective. The order was correct, well packed and protected, just very slow.

I had heard good things about Cheap Joe's so I placed an order for linen canvas on Sept 30th. However it never shipped. After three days, I contacted support and was told it would ship Monday. When that didn't happen, I sent a request to support online yesterday but I didn't receive a reply. I called support this morning, Wednesday Oct 9th, and was told by a very nice lady that it would ship probably tomorrow or so. I asked her if it was in stock and she said yes. At that point I had to wonder why a store would take that long to ship an order that was in stock. So I asked her to cancel my order. Hopefully I will receive the refund soon. I really wanted this to work, they have really great prices, however I need to be sure my orders are handled promptly when I am working on trying to meet deadlines. I would rather pay higher prices and order confidently.

I placed an order from them and unfortunately had to cancel it because I waited a week for a shipping email and did not receive one, so I emailed support. Support basically told me that the item I ordered was on backorder when on the website at the time of ordering said it was still in stock. Support said changes (possibly damaged stock thrown out) like that are usually communicated to them but this time it wasn't and they were super friendly and helpful. The support team is the reason I gave this review 3 stars but I had to cancel my order since I needed the item soon and they couldn't fulfill it in the time frame I needed.

So TLDR if you are planning to order from them make sure it isn't something you need quickly.
