Excellent, knowlegeable service, no pressure..... they dont sneek around on your shoulder, upfront re delivery being 8 - 12 weeks. Delivery men very helpful and careful. All in all, I was so pleased I purchased through C B, for me it worked out perfectly after weeks of trawling around all levels of furniture stores, I personally found the quality so much better, at no difference in cost re craftmanship and fabric quality

You rang to say my stool was ready for collection at Horley ask
if it could be sent to Horsham told yes would take 3 to 4 daysbut the very next day Horsham rang to say it there ready for collection

We always purchase items from Collingwood Batchelor, have done for over 25 years, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the products are of good value so why would we go anywhere else.

Colingwood Batchellor delivered in good time and on the date they agreed with me, plus I was able to arrange for the driver to call me half an hour beforehand so that I could nip home and this meant I didnt have to lose a whole morning/afternoon or even a days holiday. Well done for putting the customer first.

I have only rated this section as good because the salesman told us that as there was no delivery date on the paperwork, the fire was probably in stock at the central store. In fact it was almost 3 weeks before I could collect it.

Excellent service from the Sales Consultant, Harvey Crump. Gave us good advice without harassing us and clearly explained the options open to us given our requirements. We actually only intended gathering information when we entered the store, but were so impressed that we decided there and then to order. We will be returning in a few weeks to order more furniture in the same range.

Incidentally Horsham is not our nearest store, Horley is. We tried ringing both stores to find out if what we were considering was in the showroom. In spite of holding on for some time Horley never answered the phone - Mr Crump answered after just two rings. No surprise who got the order then.

Goods came in 2deliveries, the rug was forgotten but brought the next day. I paid extra for floor protesters but the incorrect items were delivered. All in all ,could have been better.

The smaller chair of the 3 piece suite did not suit me but on returning to the store a week after delivery, we saw Jeremy Davies again, who had ordered the furniture for us in the first place. They very kindly agreed to swop this chair for a recliner in another style and we did not have to pay VAT as I had recently had a hip operation.

I was looking for mattresses and found 1 I liked almost immediately. Then the member of staff came over and was extremely helpful. Not only did he assure me my purchase was for a decent mattress but he also explored a discount with me as I was buying 2. It was all very easy and very quick, everyone involved was polite and easy to approach.

Great product ranges and proper old fashioned customer service all the way to the delivery guys for whom nothing is too much bother (take note other retailers) makes Collingwood Batchellor one of the most enjoyable customer experiences currently on any high street and worth every penny to shop there. Highly recommended.

Service and overall experience in the shop was first class, special mention to Chris who is always a pleasure to deal with.
Delivery was faultless and they turned up ahead of schedule which was a bonus.

I thought the salesman was very helpful when I was selecting my coffee table. The delivery was earlier than expected but disappointed that it would have cost so much had the table been delivered to my home. However, I opted to collect from the store and the assistants were very helpful telling me how to drive to the rear of the store.

We were looked after by one of their sales persons, Harvey Crump. He couldn't have been more helpful in assisting us in narrowing down our requirements to specific products. We only actually visited the store with the intention of gathering information but were so impressed we ordered a dining table and six chairs there and then. All of the admin went smoothly, our furniture arrived in store when promised. Delivery went smoothly, the furniture was unpacked and installed without any problems and all the packaging taken away, together with the furniture it was replacing. We would certainly buy from them again, and will in fact be ordering a matching sideboard shortly..
