I have even tried to contact to get the location of my belongings to get them picked up by another company.
The owner. Takes your money, avoids your calls and emails and complaints and does not care.
Absolutely disgusting. All my memories are gone. Thanks to this company. You will never see your things again.
I don't even want my money back I just want my stuff.

We were told that one of the boxes contained prohibited item and were asked to pay an extra for removal and shipment, which we refused to do until evidence were provided, given the reviews on this website.
After 1 year and a half of hassle, a complaint lodged to fair trading we eventually received a proof and were told that the boxes would be sent again at no extra cost, providing that we remove any negative reviews online and on social medias.
Three months later still nothing, it turned out that the boxes were not sent because of missing paperwork that the owner never requested... three months lost again.
Finally the boxes left in August 2016 (at least that's what the owner pretends), it's been 10 months and we are still waiting...
The communication is horrible, a problem that could have been solved in 2 emails with a decent company took us three years, and we didn't even receive our boxes because we think the owner did not bother to send them (we requested paperwork for the shipment but obviously we are never going to get that...).
I do not understand how this company is still running when you look at these reviews.
If you want to see your freight again use a real professional company and not this scam run by an amateur who also had lived in the political sphere and probably knows the right people to keep running his 'business' unpunished.
Do not use Discount freight or any associated business such as:

When they didn't arrive 4 months later, I called and eventually got told that they were 'definitely only a week or so away, call back in two weeks if they're still not there'. Fair enough.
Two weeks later they still hadn't come, so I called again. I gave the tracking receipt number (and was originally told that it wasn't 'one of ours'...) and when they actually looked, decided that the items had probably not been properly packed, and that this would likely extend delivery by one month. This was despite the fact that I had dropped the items off in person, and been assured that everything was fine. I was told to call back in two more weeks if, 'for some reason' they had not arrived.
After five months had passed since I'd seen my belongings, I started calling more regularly. I was told by Discount Freight that they couldn't search for my belongings without incurring an additional expense on their behalf - which they were not going to do. Instead, I could help them and myself by filling out a form to request that they keep an eye out for my stuff. I did so, and spent the next week trying to get confirmation that they had received my form by email. Getting anything in writing from these people is near impossible, as they clearly don't like to leave a trail.
Confirmation eventually came in the form of mixed news: They had found one of my two items in a sorting centre in the UK! I was also informed that Discount Freight had not put a complete delivery address or even my name on the shipping information! The other item had not yet been found. I called Discount Freight immediately and after another lengthy debate about whose fault it was that their employee hadn't bothered to fill out the shipping details correctly, I was told to sit back and wait two more weeks, because now that one had been found in the UK and had its address fixed, it would no doubt arrive within a week - a week and a half, tops. And with any luck, the other item would be with it.
Two weeks passed and still nothing. Discount Freight is now avoiding my contact and I am having to go so far as to call from different phones to get a response. At the time of writing this review, it has been six months since I saw my belongings, with no clear end in sight. It is only now that I feel so frustrated with the slippery, insincere and verging on criminal way in which Discount Freight has handled this whole affair that I am compelled to write this review.
If you happen to stumble across this review, do me a favour and make it worthwhile. Look elsewhere for shipping.
My next step is, unfortunately, legal advice.

It was then that a friend suggested me to opt for the services from Discount Freight.
Just a single call to them resolved all my worries and left me dumbstruck. I could not believe how little they charged for the task. However, I had my faith in them and therefore sent all my parcels taking their help. It was indeed a commendable service.

Being near Sydney myself, I proceeded to organise pickup with [name removed], I told him how the package was packed and I even drove the package to goulburn to the TNT depot there. From there he was to organise pickup and delivery to his depot and then on to the UK.
Well that was 7 weeks ago. The parcel was promised for delivery between 3 to 4 weeks. The parcel was delivered to Goulburn by my wife on the 28 / 10. We have a receipt to say they have accepted the parcel.
Despite countless requests for a tracking number or other evidence the package has left Australia or arrived in the U.K. I have received nothing. My client in the U.K. has been promised emails and phone calls in regard to customs and duty payment options and he has heard nothing.
I send them emails and about 1 in 6 get replied to with all the promises in the world but I get nothing.
I believe this company is fraudulent. He has sent me 2 emails recently making excuses as to why the package has not been delivered. All of them accuse me of causing the delays. Not once has he admitted he is in any way at fault. In his most recent email to me, he wants me to acknowledge his extra work he has done and thank him for it before he will give my parcel any further priority. He has said he will do nothing else including chasing up where it is before I acknowledge his 6 or 7 statements he has made about how much of a great guy he is and how I have caused him so many problems. All of which were never mentioned before I started getting very firm with what information I required of him.
My client payed me for the freight via PayPal. He has now asked PayPal to do an investigation in relation to this freight shipment. I have asked [name removed] to provide me with information. All he has provided me was a Us Airlines waybill. It says the package is 450 kgs. This package is obviously not mine. I sent him the PayPal information request in which they have given me 3 days to provide information or they will find in the buyers favour. He has not responded to any emails since. I have send these to both of his email addresses. There has never been a problem with his emails before but there appears to be a big one now. His phone just goes straight to message bank.
So PayPal have given me until tomorrow to supply them the information. I am obviously never going to get the information. I have asked him to tell me where the freight is and as usual no reply
Please don't anyone else get sucked in with [name removed]' s freight company. It has sucked me and so many other people in only to leave them high and dry
I will now also be contacting fair trading as they need to know about this to.
So now 4 days since I wrote this review I am receiving emails saying how untrue my review is and is threatening me if I don't remove this review. He is still saying the package was sent although no one has had any correspondence from anyone either in the uk or Australia.
I'm just going to let fair trading deal with it
Update 20/12/2016
He is now contacting my customer in the UK trying to cause trouble by saying I'm at fault as it was not packed right or labelled. He is also trying to say that I am being dishonest by putting a false value down in an invoice I sent discount freight in relation to the goods. He is just out of control.
He says now that the package is still at customs yet I have emails from him saying it has cleared customs.
Paypal now has removed the money from my account and given it back to the buyer and rightly so. So now I am left high and dry with no money for the freight and no package. Goodness knows where it is
I will let you know of his next move. I have all emails if anyone would like to see them. I don't know why he is still allowed to operate in Australia. How much money does he need to scam of people before his company is deregistered?

So I thought I just got scammed, tried their 24/7 phone a few times, no one answered. Started to google them, and found a lot of negative reviews. Many people had problems with lost parcels, some of the items from parcels missing, difficult contact (tell me about it...). Then I decided that I rather find someone else to ship my stuff and ask for a refund.
I asked for a refund as the service wasn't provided yet. They finally answered and email and wanted to pick up the parcels at a different date. I told "[name removed]" that it won't happen and I really just want my money back. He decided to stop answering emails again.
Currently, the case is dealt with by the credit card company and I probably just lost a $1000 and all my stuff is still overseas.

I chose airmail delivery from Sydney to the UK (website says delivery within 2-4 weeks). It has been 9 weeks and I don't know where my shipping is. No apology or genuine concern in any of my correspondence with this company. I have been extremely inconvenienced by the late delivery.
I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Absolute and utter SCAM.
Stay away, if all reviews so far weren’t enough, here’s my 2 cents.
(Actually I consider myself one of the lucky ones as I managed to get my suitcase back and that I have friends in Australia who went to pick up my luggage).
I cannot believe that a company like this is *still*? allowed to operate in Australia?
