Yesterday afternoon at about 5:00pm I received a call from someone claiming to be from Dodo Energy.
"Good afternoon. This is Dodo Energy. Can I have your date of birth."
Guess what my answer was? "NO!"
They did not ask to speak with anyone by name and would not provide any further information so naturally I terminated the conversation.
I don't even have an account with Dodo.

My electricity did not have to wait long, only upset i am sure i entered the debit card numbers, to receive to say i am late with my payments, i phoned gave them my BSA info then received another payment notice and a third one. Never have i been late paying in my 76 years, i hope it's fixed up by the 1st June. I have not had a gas bill that should be taken out of my BSA too. Thank you

Had not received a bill for 5 mths rang 3/1 we will get it done 6/1 sorry have to wait 7 to 10 business days 10 days later sorry another 5 business days and supervisor will call you no call 5 days later sorry supervisor will contact you again no call nothing will have to ring again so frustrating second meter almost due

Everything has been perfect,electricity bills are cheaper.I highly recommend Dodo for power,NBN ,mobile and fetch.The customer service is excellent very helpful friendly and polite.as I said I highly recommend everyone join Dodo

My answers regarding the questions:

1-GAS
Electricity
Internet

2-Reasonable

3-No; all good. Internet is slow some times but not bad

I used other gas providers and electricity providers; my previous electricity company suddenly increased the prices dramatically and gave me 12 days notice! That made me moving to Dodo in gas and electricity.

We have been with Dodo power and Gas for about 9 months and in all this time supply and service has been excellent. Also have internet which is very reliable

Normal power is installed already, been with dodo for a number of years now. I cannot understand why my night tarrif comes on during the day so I will have to get this rectified asI may be getting charged too much

23 min and 34 seconds on the line waiting to be transferred and then disconnected !!!!
super happy
i get a high bill , and when i call , rep ask me why do you think it's a high bill????

Cheap and affordable more suited for apartments and singer owner occupants.
Can be affordable for large home owners also because Dodo Power & Gas charge per month. Not annually.
Hence much easier to afford power & gas. Where most Australian Power Retailers charge or bill annually.
Customer Service/Live Chat is already expected as Dodo is foreign/Overseas owned.

I have been with amaysim in the past, I hate it they were very expensive. I love dodo right now been with them for 6 months. I hope it stays like that.

So, signed up with Dodo, provided a rate which was decent, then out of the blue, received a text message a few weeks later, when it was due to start, stating that the contract was being cancelled, as they couldn't find my NMI, rang them that day, spoke to someone who said it wouldn't be cancelled and that he would call me that night to get my NMI,
no call. (waiting about a week)

called back to continue the process, was signed up with a new account (dont know why they didnt continue the old contract), same rates, right back on track, (besides the fact that I've been paying a month of higher rates with my older provider as they jacked up the price) - however, then called back after signing up and told, the rates where wrong, then proceeded to provided much higher rates, told them not to bother and to cancel the contract. they then promptly changed there mind and said i could get the original rates... -- back on track again!

received my welcome pack WITH the higher rates! called again! was told, they could now no longer offer those rates, and offered an additional 30 dollars incentive... (note rates where about 15% higher than what i was offered - so it wouldn't have even made the difference in the first month.) ended up cancelling the contact again.

so 1. thanks for wasting my time, 2, causing me to pay a much higher rate on with my existing provider due to the price hike - probably equating to 50-100 bux due to the amount it jumped (about 50%), 3. missing out on a much better deal/contract with another provider as they have now increased there prices too.

useless, annoyed and would sternly warn against going with DODO - and to think they wanted my internet AND mobile phone! - NOT A CHANCE!

I had 3 bills and was struggling to pay them i called Dodo and they were so caring and understanding and had a payment arrangement done to suit me

I have had issues with this company before and it does not get better had 20% discount put my bill up then they gave me 30% i bet they put the bill up again and hy dnt seem to understand. also just got solar and te say it takes 20-40 working days to put a smart meterup are they serious should take no more than 10 days and as for putting the meter in takes less than an hour so i have no idea why it takes so long energy they are missing out on.

Cancelled my electricity account 3.5 weeks ago, was promised a refund of the credit accumulated in my account within 5 days, still nothing. Three calls and I get the same line that it was processed and will take 3-5 business days. Very quick to take your money but don't want to give it back. Not to mention that in the whole 6 months I was with them I did not receive not one bill and no one is able to tell me why, just blabbering about the bills being cancelled by the system. Even with closing the account I am still not able to get a final bill sent. How is this incompetent company even allowed to trade in Australia...????? I hope they go the way of the Dodo (and I mean the 'flipping' bird).

Off to the Ombudsman I go.

I have all electric in my house , no gas , and my bills are unbelievably cheap in winter and summer they are always cheaper and never any problems if I need to contact Dodo.

In the past three years I have been with three different energy providers. First I was with Origin who I found to be one of the most disorganised companies I have ever dealt with. Then I moved to AGL and despite repeated attempts, they could never get my bill smoothing working correctly. I moved to DoDo as I had my internet with them and I have not had any trouble at all. It was connected effortlessly, and my prepayment plan is much lower than what AGL we’re trying to charge me and each quarter I have been in credit and DoDo let’s you withdraw funds in credit which is a handy feature. DoDo costs less for the same gas and electricity as others sell for more and their payment plan has made life easy.

Electricity account deducted from our credit card each month was on average $57.00. It was paid early and no problem. Average usage was 11.00 kWh and then in November they claimed 64.28 and deducted $1,400.00 from my credit card. How is this possible? 3 young students living in a shared house, no aircon, working and attending Uni. Never home. There is more than something wrong. Avoid them at all cost.

Gas installed recently, but I already have Electricity and even my mobile. my.dodo customer portal has all my services... electricity, mobile, gas... so I can see everything and make payments there too. No issues with my gas.
