Excellent! Karin Smit (Stellenbosch area) is the best please support her you won’t be disappointed. She is an angel! Very friendly and cleans awazingly - it is great to walk into your house after Karin was there. Love it! Will definitely recommend!

I was disappointed in that I did explain that I needed to get to work and the lady that came through came through very late. Although she cleaned well, she ate things at my place she wasn't supposed to after letting her know exactly what she can eat. She ate my chocolate, biscuits & rice cakes. There were things that were thrown away that weren't supposed to be from my bathroom. I asked her not to do washing because I had already done washing that needed to be ironed. I wash my washing strategically and would never do washing 2 or 3 times in my washing machine in one day. I let her know and she still used the washing machine. Electricity is expensive and I didn't appreciate this happening after I let her know not to do it.

The Domestly service works very effectively - it is easy to schedule (and skip) bookings. The administrative staff at Domestly are very helpful. The service lightens the admin load on the 'client' and provides more work opportunities to trustworthy cleaners.

I booked a cleaner more than a month ago. It was all very well to take the booking money but then all of a sudden you have no people working in Gordon's bay. I requested the money back but keep getting messed around with the money being in my wallet and someone would be coming It's so clear you wont be getting anyone working in Gordon's bay... so kindly return the R155 and let it be instead of giving me stories

she cleaned well, used her initiative. She arrived late and had n problem staying later and finishing what needed to be done - she refused to have a coffee break at 10:30, and said she'd eat at lunch time. I am comfortable with leaving her in my space. She speaks well and understands what I say and what needs to be done.

Domestly services really made my life more easier the past few weeks. My home hero does miss a few obvious cleaning spots and then, it would be good if some sort of generic checklist be provided to home heroes. other than that i am hooked to Domestly, keep up the good work.

We’ve been using Domestly for 4 months and it has been absolutely brilliant. What attracted us to the service was how ethical, fair and professional it is, elevating the cleaning profession to the legitimate and vital place it should be. Your home is your biggest investment, whether you rent or own, and feeling proud of your space whilst respectfully supporting the people who expertly provide services is definitely something that resonated with us. We are super happy and would recommend the Domestly service to anyone.

I’ve loved my first experience so far. Your app needs some work as it doesn’t “flow” ie. if I want to go back to look at something I have to re-enter my info etc. also would have liked to see what the cleaners do before selecting my time options. It was wonderful to get the check list at the end-such a lovely touch, but I would have liked to have seen it before as well. Didn’t get the “stickers” for the loo paper as stated I should in domestic amenities and while it’s not a problem at all-I think it would have been just the cherry on top of an already amazing experience!

I have been with Domestly for about five months and am impressed by their efficiency. Everything runs smoothly and my cleaner is efficient and trustworthy. It is also a relief not to have the hassle of paying UIF and putting up with the. Department of Labour's gross inefficiency. Dealing with Domestly is the best decision I made in a long time.

I know this is a long-ish review, but I have an honest review story: (And it's honest reviews like these I always hope to find in my journey when I'm doing my research on products and services.) I was previously using Domestly when they were still offering bookings intermittently (which suited my needs). I loved my cleaner, but after she failed to show up on the last minute a few times, (and Domestly not being able to get me a new cleaner in time), I felt like it defeated the purpose. I tried to use another service (which calculates per room and the amount of cleaning tasks that needs to be done) and that cost me a lot for less time and an average clean. Then after a year with no cleaner, desperation set in and I thought I might give Domestly another shot. Since I last used them their small tweaks towards service and efficiency has definitely improved. For example a checklist of chores to be ticked by you so your cleaner can concentrate on those tasks makes much more sense than a cookie cutter approach by similar companies. My cleaner also communicated in a professional manner and I could sense a great deal of training in dealing with clients and cleaning methods. Most of all the service of cleaning itself is really good. And after having your house cleaned in a professional caring way, who wouldn't feel a sigh of relief?
