Returned a jacket I ordered. Despite having proof of delivery of the return, it's been over two weeks waiting on my refund. Excuse after excuse and now I'm told it will be another 5 days. WORST online shopping experience I've ever had. They are nothing but a drop ship company anyway so you are better off going directly to the manufacturers website for the sales you see on eBags.

I keep reading negative reviews about eBags, and am pretty surprised. I have ordered from them several times (10+) and have received them very quickly. On one bag, I didn't like the color, and returned it with no hassle, they paid shipping. On my Crew Cooler, they replaced the lining after only having to send pictures. As for the luggage, going on four years and many uses with no issues.

We purchased two sets of Fortis Hardside Spinners. My husbands large suitcase has a zipper problem. So, he's been using the carry-on and will have to use our old suitcase for checked baggage. We bought these early for an upcoming trip and it's no longer covered by the 30 day return policy.

Read these reviews. They are true. I wish I saw these. I ordered 2 suitcases. One gets lost on way to me and they want me to wait for an investigation when they clearly see I didnt get my items when promised. They first wanted me to do all the leg work then I threatened to write a bad review and call my credit company. Then they put the investigation in with the delivery company. They still wont refund me until the review is done. That is not how one conducts good business. they will not let me write a review on their site either, funny how that is. Do not recommend and stress to stay away. Read these reviews!

I ordered the eBag Professional Weekender backpack, and it arrived quicker than expected. I've been very happy with it and subsequently ordered the Professional Slim laptop backpack for every day use and have also been pleased with it. It also arrived sooner than expected. Have had nothing but very good experiences with eBags.

This company sends the complete incorrect product, then expects you to return it, then you have to re order the order you paid for. This all with a three week wait. This is the fine work of their robotic customer 'success' team. And no apology at all. Do not purchase from this glossy multinational owned retailer, you will only be disappointed.

I usually don't write negative reviews, but my experience eBags has been (and unfortunately still ongoing) extremely disappointing. I purchased a very expensive suitcase which I needed for an upcoming business trip and used the 2 day shipping option to expedite the shipping. I received an email stating that the suitcase was shipped with a UPS tracking number, however the UPS website states that the package still hasn't been released to them even after 2 days that eBags claimed that the order shipped. Customer reps only apologize about the situation and don't really take the initiative to resolve the issue. All of the emails I've received claim that the order will be shipped and/or have been shipped, which is not true. I was extremely hesitant about purchasing anything from eBags due to their negative reviews. In conclusion, I also recommend all future buyers to consider all options before purchasing from eBags unless they want to go through headaches. I'm very hesitant to purchase from them ever again and don't recommend the company to any of my family/friends/coworkers.

I read the reviews carefully and decided to try out ebags.com and I'm glad I did. No store online or otherwise comes close to their site wide sale prices! Shipment of my two Osprey packs came with in 7 days like they said it would and packed securely and arrived in mint condition. Will totally order from them again.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this company. I paid extra shipping to have delivery before Christmas. I received an email saying that they canceled my order because they couldn't get it here before Christmas. Then they shipped it after Christmas at full charge...when I no longer needed it because it was obviously a Christmas gift that I ended up replacing with another product. So when I received the cancellation email, I emailed them back saying I did not want it and it was supposed to come before Christmas. Then they said I had to wait to receive it and they would send a return shipping label. When we finally got the product, reached out for the return label, and sent it back, we STILL only got a partial refund, had to go through a ton of hoops and had to pay a premium for shipping before Christmas. Not to mention they charged a warehouse replacement fee without my knowledge that was never refunded, even when they got the product back. What a complete waste of time and money. As someone who online shops frequently, I have never run into so many problems with a company. This place is a scam!

One last attempt through customer service was successful. They credited the small price difference and replaced the defective bag at no cost. It shouldn't have taken 3 attempts, but kudos to them for finally doing the right thing.

I bought this off of Brads Deals. The pics made the item look quite large and roomy. I am not sure if dimensions were on the ebags BD page. I had to look around after I received the bag to find the dimensions. This item is now worth the sale price much less the full price. Bought some luggage online. Site said error, so I tried again. Same error showed. I then received two emails confirming same order twice though it had not appeared to go through. I immediately called and agent credited one on my double purchase. Here is the problem. They said it could take 3-10 days for credit to come off my debit card. The bank would take that long to remove the double charge. Guess what?? A third charge then was taken off of my account. I called about that and was told same thing about length of time for credit. We called our credit union and they said they did not know what they were talking about. They gave us a number to call on dispute. What the heck? These are not easy times and there is no reason for this to happen, especially since we did not order or want three sets of luggage. Do not place an online order with them - Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!

I bought a "weekender" bag in October 2017 and it was really too heavy for true usage. I can't use it. I neglected to return the 2017 purchase quickly and went to look at the return policy (figuring I was out of luck, as I am) - but unfortunately I see that in the past 3-4 years they have (1) reduced their return window from 60 to 30 days (which for an online retailer is a very small window, ESPECIALLY for people traveling, and it caters to travelers), (2) added a $4.95 per item return fee (which is insane, a restocking fee on even $10 products amounts to a ripoff), so it's essentially a "you buy it, you keep it" policy for items under $20 or so, and (3) developed a nasty customer service problem, based on these reviews. Prior to the 2017 purchase I'd bought a lot of packing cube type bags from them and had a good experience, quite good. I think Amazon is crushing ebags because it seems that they are changing their business in ways that will make things worse for them.

They say they have a lifetime guarantee, but it's been a month since I submitted one and they have never even responded to tell me they would or wouldn't honor it. Also they only ship UPS which is the worst shipping service available.

Know their return policy. I purchased a gift for my daughter that was Patagonia. From the shipping time until it was opened was 35 days. Their return policy is 30 days and would not let me exchange. I asked to speak to a manager and apparently they cannot transfer calls. How convenient. A manager has yet to return my call. What a joke! I will never purchase anything from this company and will make it well known!! I hope @Patagonia knows how they are being represented (poorly)!

Unlike some of the reviews, I've always been satisfied with e-Bags shipments. I first came upon e-Bags from an ad somewhere. I ordered a large purse because I was flying to WI and needed something that could carry my iPad (regular sized), my novel, and all my other numerous things. This first purse was leather, very supple and lovely. However, the inside material shredded and came apart within a year and a half, so even though the outside still looks perfect, the inside is done for. It's down to the leather! The second purse I bought within the past 6 months also has the inside shredding. It was a different brand from the first purse-leather, but much harder, less supple leather. I still, just tonight, ordered a third purse for everyday use. It's not leather and I hope the inside will stay intact. All of this previous review tells the bad side of eBags. The good side is that there are huge numbers of purses, wallets, carry-on bags, luggage, etc. on this site. Most of the purses are made for security as you travel, with reinforcement so that thieves can't cut the purse's strap away from you. There is also protection for you money and credit cards, as I believe there is some device that can scan your credit cards while they are in your purse! You also get good coupons and discounts. You get money points for everything you buy. Many of the original prices are very economic, but with the money points from my previous purchases, I saved $10 on my purchase tonight. So the only complaint I have, and it's a significant one, is that the material used in the inside compartments of the purses IS NOT LONG LASTING AT ALL!!! It shreds and comes apart. I have purses from 20-30 years ago, not from eBags, and the interior looks almost as good as new. EBags needs to make sure they change this bad problem. Thank you.

I ordered a bag from eBags.com for an airplane carryon because of the description and reviews. It came quickly but was much smaller inside than I expected so I returned it. They were very good about accepting the return, but the process was very expensive. It cost $14 for the return shipping and handling. I would have gotten part of that money back if I purchased another item--the amount would have been applied to the new purchase. I thought this was way too expensive & will not be purchasing from eBags.com again. It was order number 33398327 by way of proof that this was my actual experience.

I have placed multiple order with this company . For the most part the merchandise has been nice but their marketing practices and customer relations are disgusting. When I do the order for awhile, they start to send what I call ' fishing' emails promoting discounts . I also have shoprunner, which they participate in but just happens that the discounted and deals are never applicable to free shipping or to discounts. In order to be fully educated in this, you must scroll down and read all exemptions carefully. I called them on four occasions to ask that they apply discounts to my order, since I felt their emails were not fully transparent . For my last and most recent order, same tactic was used , so I once again asked for a supervisor. A less than humble little boy named CJ basically said that they had millions of customers and that I had requested too many discounts . He would now red flag me. There is no Corporate number to call. If you search other sites you will find competitive prices with much better customer relation representative. Poor CJ has no ' bedside manner' and has lost his company a loyal customer and others that follow my reviews. He argued over giving me 25% off ( as offered on email) on a 14.00 dollar purchase. If we have to be bombarded with emails , the least they can do is be totally upfront and clear, as soon as email is opened. Not shopping here anymore. Afraid CJ may here from me and have another ' hissy fit. . I also referred a friend for a ten dollar promotion and Never received it', until I called them. According to CJ the person I referred was living in my house and the promotion would not apply. Person lives in Indiana and I in NY.God Bless his clueless little heart.

As with many others reporting here- Failed to deliver on time, offered rote excuses, refused to cancel order, failed to keep promises regarding facilitating return. Resolution still pending. Order from them and expect endless frustration. READ REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING! I regret not having done so.

I've been trying for a month now to get a refund for an item that they lost in the mail and it's like pulling teeth. They initiated an investigation with the USPS who later called me and told me they approved for them to issue me a refund because the item was lost. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for a refund andAfter calling customer service they again told me they need to call me back within 24 hours. They do not follow up and they do all that they can to not refund their customers. Avoid using this company because it's a scam. They were happy to take my money but now that the item is lost they're not willing to refund? Unethical business practices!!!
