Initially I was suspicious of a scam site because the prices were low and there was a misunderstanding on charging my credit card. However I am delighted to report that they have delivered exactly as promised. They have beaten FramesDirect.com's price by 50% and delivered beautiful frames from England in only 10 days! I'm still waiting for news from Framesdirect.

Took about two weeks to receive sunglasses but they are accurate to description and I’m am pleased with my order overall. I was worried after reading reviews but it was actually a positive experience.

Was excited to receive the frames I ordered on May 18, which arrived on June 3. A bit longer than I expected, but ok, they arrived. I immediately decided, that day, I would need to return them, they were not what I was really looking for in a frame. I emailed the company that day, and have been emailing (along with a few unanswered calls, did leave a msg, but no response) almost every day since trying to get a RMA#. Says on their site "We will respond to your request within 24 hours with the RMA #." Apparently that is not true. I will keep trying to get the frames returned, as I need to get another frame for the glasses I need. Totally unprofessional and inconsiderate of this company to not respond to me (and others with concerns). Come on eyedocshoppe.com, please do the right thing!

Almost 30 days passed and still did not receive my frames. They blame "manufacturer" (small basement somewhere in China).
Avoid these scammers!!!

It has been over 30 days and have not received order. They will not return e-mails, only contact is through contracted 3rd party online chat. They keep saying USPS service is to blame but USPS has no record of recieving package.
Avoid at all cost.

Ordered sunglasses, order was processing for almost 2 weeks, called and was told the manufacturer no longer has my color (it is the classic color and is not true) I said I would take a different color, they said can't get that color either. These sunglasses are available at almost every other shop online, and glasses are still on their site. I sure hope my refund comes.

****ETA BEWARE!!! This is the only place I used this credit card and from the time I ordered until now, someone in CA has been fraudulently using my credit card to buy gift cards at many women's apparel stores!!!

I order on the 10th, they sent me a receipt on the 13th, I waited till the 20th (the 20Th) and when I checked the tracking which I paid $8.95 to send it priority it said that it was delivered on the 19th which I never received. When I called them they said that I did not paid Priority/Signature Tracking. Here is a copy and paste from my receipt.

They haven't responded to 4 emails and after 3 phone calls, I received one call back. The woman was very polite and helpful but I now figure it was all a lie. They cannot give you an order status. "Honey" who works the online chat is so rude. I can't believe this company (also known as SunOptique.com) is in business. Clearly customer service isn't important to them. They're horrible. STAY AWAY.

i ordered a pair of glasses paid over $100 and for faster shipping i never received them i read other reviews that said they received the glasses and i think they are lies they also never answer their phone i called 5 different days and left a message with my # and still nothing ....stay away u will regret buying here

Ordered two pairs of frames with two different credit cards. A week later both were being used fraudulently. Only company with both those numbers. Spoke with Dr. Steinberger, who was disbelieving and short (said he had a patient). From another review here about three weeks before my order, it appears they have a staffing problem. Hassle.

They did deliver the frames well within two weeks. Neither worked for me, so got an RMA for each and returned them together within a week or so after receipt. They received them per USPS, but as of three weeks later no credits have been given. After two weeks, I called and left a message - they've yet to answer the phone since the return - and sent a letter by fax. Still nothing after another week, so I called the credit card companies and filed disputes. Seems I'm not the first with that type of experience either.

If you are sure what you want and willing to take the chance, they do have good pricing on some brands. Otherwise, paying more is worth it.

If I could give this company a zero I would. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They false advertise prices and then make up an excuse to get you to pay a higher price. The customer service sucks can not explain anything or help.

I received the frames I ordered in under two weeks - I couldn't be more satisfied. Including the ten dollar cost for priority mail, the frame was almost half the price than at the optometrist! Which, by the way, is doing the lenses, which will be ready in two weeks or more - more time than time it took to receive the frame from eyedocshope.com. I was worried because of the bad reviews, but as long as they can order from the supplier and ship it to you, it's worth exercising that tad of patience. Otherwise, feel free to pay the exorbitant prices at the retailer.

I've been waiting two weeks for my glasses after paying for priority shipping but they messed up and didn't bother to call and say they need an ID for verification of my card which I've never had that problem online before and the only way I found out they weren't shipping them out yet was because I called four days later to ask about the status which they didn't bother calling me about they claimed they sent me an email I never even received and didn't bother calling when they had my info so I asked for a refund on priority shopping which they did but after waiting days again after being promised them last week I called the manager today and she was disrespectful and interrupted when I was speaking when I was trying to explain the whole reason I was frustrated and all she did was go on about how their machine was down so they're sending them priority to everyone who ordered but can't do anything else other than that.... Whoopty Doo! I already paid for that just to get them faster but in the end im waiting longer than I would doing free shipping! They are rude, unprofessional and lazy! Do not order from there it's not worth it! Never again will I even look at that site! Hopefully the supervisor will do something about it but I highly doubt it they don't seem to care about their customers!

I too ordered glasses 2 weeks ago. The money has been taken out of my account and I have called them over & over, several times a day & get the same recording. Leave message, order # etc. Have still not received a call nor my glasses. I am very disappointed and will never use this company again. Also tried to contact via e-mail and when I submit it...There was a problem sending.

I ordered a pair of jubilee frames with no lenses needed on Jan 2, 2012. They didn't even ship it until a week later. I still haven't received my item. This is unacceptable and poor business practices. There are plenty of other merchants online who don't wait a week to ship purchases. I think everyone should go elsewhere if you like getting your items sooner than 2 weeks.

On Jan 16, 2020, I placed my order #39620 and received them Feb 12. They were lovely, but the PD (Pupillary Distance) correction was too far apart. This has since been confirmed by a dispensing optician who measured my PD. This mistake may have been my fault, or it may have been because we used a printout from the eyedocshoppe.com site to do the initial PD measurement; it may not have retained its accuracy when printed. That printout is no longer available on the site. I was prepared to pay for new lenses in any case. Their "hassle-free guarantee" specifies that we must not return the glasses later than 14 days after receipt. But we must obtain an authorization number to return glasses. So, for the next 2 weeks, I tried repeatedly to call and email them. Two times I got to talk with someone who wanted to help, but who had no authority or knowledge of my account and who never did follow up. I paid $426.31 for lovely glasses that I cannot use. I have resorted to writing this review in the hope of spurring them into a fair resolution instead of getting away with ignoring my problem. Their Amazon rating is much higher than for purchases not made through Amazon. Interesting.

I was skeptical about purchasing my frames from this company at a $100 off (BCBG Max Azria, Ambrosia)!! But, like others, I took a chance. Eight days after placing my order, I have my authentic frames and hard case in hand. I am very pleased, and will use this company again. Highly recommended! I don't know how they do it, but you can't beat $100 off. I am having my lenses done locally though. I am not comfortable going out on that limb, but perhaps I will give them a try in the future.

I ordered glasses via the web site on 6/24/16. Finally the week of July 18th I'm calling about them wondering where they are. I called each day this week only to be hung up on or disconnected. Finally today I told someone not to put me on hold and asked where the glasses are. They tell me they are not available. REALLY??? It took you a month to find they are not available and you couldn't let me know that?? Very disappointed.
