Apparently the attached image purchase went through. But I didn't realize and bought the tickets in-person assuming it didn't go through like the error label infers. I tried to get a refund and had to go from waiting in the chat queue for over half an hour to having to submit a complaint in another part of the website to even find the status of the refund request. Multiple follow up emails and still had no response for a month. Eventually was able to talk to a person that seemed understanding and hand me submit the bank statements proving the purchase and then denied the refund with no explanation. Highly unprofessional and was a super frustrating and time consuming process to go through. Be wary

I purchased 4 tickets online from Fandango. I found out I could have purchased the exact sames seats for about $10 less if I had used AMC's app. This is the first time I've seen Fandango being higher than the actual theater app. No notice, warning, comment from Fandango. Never again. Hope they go the way of Blockbuster Video stores. They ripped people off too.

Paid the $7 shipping charges and waited... the package arrived with water damage. Essentially ruining the poster, I've contacted them 3 times and each time I get an auto response saying "Your question has not been submitted yet" and then gives me links to check my gift card balance and donations??? I however had no problems with my ticket purchase, so 2 stars.

These guys will loot your money even when you don't opt for the service by charging convenience fee. I would not recommend anyone using this service, as Cinemark and AMC are giving full refund when you cancel the tickets. Customer service is horrible and they don't care about the members. Bogus company.

We rented a movie it never showed up but it took our money. We called and got the completely runaround!!! They act like this $5 movie will be coming out of their paycheck. Worst experience ever. We will not be using any of their services in the future. I recommend google play

Just another unhappy Fandango customer here. Nothing new. No customer service, excuses, changing stories, and no one who cares about the customer. My strong advice is to go the theater to purchase your tickets and DO NOT USE Fandango.

When I got to the theater I was told they did not see my reservation. We bought tickets for bad seats up front. When I got home I saw that I had been charged for two seats that were later also sold to someone else. They refuse to refund me and I know that if someone would just look up ticket sales from that night they would see the tickets were double sold. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought tickets and the date they gave me was different from the one I put in and they refused to change it or give a refund. Had to pay again to see the movie in person when I noticed the tickets they gave me were wrong. Completely unhelpful staff that just sends copy pastes of company policy without actually trying to read or understand your problem. Please save your money and spend it anywhere else.

I bought tickets to a movie online with pay pal for a movie that was supposed to play in May. Due to Covid 19, they cancelled the movie . I received an email saying I received the refund, but when I went into pay pal , it had been cancelled by them ! I am now fighting with them to receive my refund!!! I will NEVER do business with this place again ! They lied and said it had been returned , pay pal told me they cancelled it !!!! Do yourself a favor, dont use them !!!!!

Everytime you buy a ticket, you have to pay a bunch of service fees. The "service" you get in return is a joke - long wait times over phone call and chat, unhelpful customer service reps, etc. I bought tickets to see a movie and when I arrived, the theater had projector issues so I was unable to see it. When I contacted Fandango about this, they REFUSED TO REFUND me. They kept the service fees!!!! How can they charge me for a product I did not receive?

Accidentally bought a ticket for the incorrect day and used my $5 reward on that purchase. Called customer service to switch the day and they refused to reapply the $5 reward claiming it was non refundable. I would understand if I were not going to buy another ticket but I was literally purchasing a ticket for the exact same movie at the same time just for the following day. Really bad customer service, I don't plan on using fandango after this. what's the point of a reward system if you can't even use the reward.

Purchased tix for the wrong time. Charged a $23 Convenience Fee. Was told by the live chat operator that it could not be refunded; this is why there is a "review your order" prior to purchase AND if I need to review their policies to click on the link attached. Then when I asked to SPEAK to a manager, the operator said ok, they'll find a manager for me. Then some how i was mysteriously disconnected.

Two words - "Soulless company." I'd also like to mention that Fandango is owned by Comcast and AT&T, so you should extend your outrage in their direction too. I'm personally going to avoid each of these companies for the rest of my life. I think they are all horrible, and they do NOT care about the customer-they care about money. I hope others will follow suit in giving these companies the cold shoulder.

Fandango's return system for tickets is flawed. When you pay for a purchase with partial Fandango credit and partial your own payment method, if you return that order, it all goes to credit. I tried to call to get the money returned to my original payment method and the customer service people had no idea. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was left on hold forever. Hung up and now will stop using Fandango altogether. I'll even just eat the money I wasted that is now in Fandango credit - if it means I don't have to do business with this company.

Received 100.00 Fandango gift certificate for Christmas. Buyer assumed that since our local theater's movie times were listed, we'd be able to get use the gift card there. This is the only theater within 40 miles of our house, and no other options are given when our zip is inputted. When I went to purchase tickets through their app, it said the theater won't sell through Fandango. Live chat made me wait 20 minutes then gave me 30 seconds and while I was typing, disconnected me. I started over. Second chat rep told me to call a number that had been changed as of Jan.1. Finally got through and was told there are no options in our area and they won't refund card. He said the movie times for nonparticipating theaters are in black, and orange for those who participate. A person looking at their site to get a card would have no possible way of knowing this. Fandango is a scam and should be avoided by all! Get gift cards directly from your theater. They also charge an undisclosed "convenience fee" from every ticket sold!

We have fandango now on our smart tv and I bought a season of an mtv show. To say that the function of this app is trash is an understatement. We have to exit the app completely to watch the next episode because it freezes and then errors out then have to relaunch the app go through the search and type in the entire title of the show because even though I've searched it at least 15 times it's not in a recent search or anything! Will never purchase anything else for them.

Fandango offers users who have accounts $5 off after every two movies but process for accessing the $5 is very confusing and makes no sense at all. I finally had to call fandango customer service to walk me through the process - which still didn't make sense. They obviously never bothered to do user testing when they set up the system. CSR was snooty and unprofessional. At least the supervisor I talked to admitted they've had other complaints.

I purchased 4 movie tickets through Fandango Mobile website this morning at 10:47am. The movie show time was 4:55pm today. The confirmation email from Fandango with the confirmation # required by the movie theater to issue the tickets arrived to my inbox at 6:11pm (over an hour after the movie show time). I contacted Fandango for a refund and they said they couldn't issue a refund after the movie show time. What a rip-off ! I will never purchase tickets from Fandango again.

I ordered 4 tickets to see "The Incredibles 2" in 3D! When we found out that it was inappropriate for young children, we decide to get a refund. I mistakingly thought my husband told me to put the entire amount in the Fandango Credit ($56), but he misunderstood me. So, I called the next day to ask of they could refund that exchange credit back to our PayPal because of the misunderstanding, because we hardly ever go to movies. The guy pretty much told us that once it's been placed in the Fandango Credit, that they cannot do a refund. (This was a little confusing to me considering its THEIR credit system, so you would think they would have the ability to refund it..especially of it was done by accident)
So I got a little upset at him, and he said he would send my request up to corporate and that I would hear something back by email within 24 hours. I checked my email about 30 minutes later and already had a response from corporate, DECLINING my request for a refund. I looked at the time stamp of the email that I received, and it was literally timestamped for 10 minutes after I got the call back from Fandango to present my issue. So, that showed me that the guy I talked to on the phone was probably the one who sent me that email claiming to be corporate. My husband is going to call today and speak to them again, since they didnt return my call after I called back following the email response.

Very dishonest company who could care less about customer service and more about taking your money!!

They took my money 3 times on the same day and held it from my checking account and blamed it on me as user error!!! Oh by the way I NEVER EVEN GOT MY TICKETS! Terrible company!!! Stay away unless you like getting ripped off!
