Over $1000 to fix three leaking taps. When i asked them about it i was told that $380 per tap is a standard price to pay. Managed to get a 40% discount on one tap after making repeated calls and complaints. I hope their solisiter gets into contact with me because i will be taking this up with accc.

Charged my grandfather over $900 for 1 hr job.
If the issue was fixed that was fine but issue came back again in a week's time and these unethical heartless people wants to charge again. After chasing up for 6 hrs finally and arguing for hrs with different people some one came out and redid few things again. Never giving them business again and recommending these people

Charged over $800 to unblock a toilet which blocked again a month later. Prices are extravagant and the company is just out to make money off customers. Poor customer service and will never use this company again!!

Asked for a quote to cut 2 PVC pipes going to a water heater and install 2 x PN16 caps quoted $312 - listed work items to be paid for included turning the powerpoint switch off and on described as "shutting down pump and filtration system" (2 seconds work), rotating ball valve 90 degrees (3-5 seconds of work) but together these padded out the work list with 4 more items - but not as good as the second part of the quote to turn off mains gas and unscrew a gas hose connection and screw on a cap (quote said cut when you can see the screw on nature of the connection) and spray test to ensure not leaking - $394 then of course GST on top and with a grand gesture of first service $65 discount a total quote of $705.10. Of course I didn't go ahead but had to pay the call out fee. Then to cap it off, pardon the pun, told $35 over the phone when I booked to get the overpriced quote and then told no its $38.50 because they then added GST when on site.

$1483 for jet blast and camera of a blocked sewer including "late"call out fee around 6pm. After the very short 30 minute treatment, I was told that it would only last 24 hours as they couldn't get all the roots out - although I know a jet hydro blaster can get through these. Was given pressure to pay the invoice within the hour or to receive half off that price if I agreed to the new quote. Was highly pressured to get the work done to fix it immediately - $7400 quote. I have called three plumbers in 20 minutes and all quotes are coming under $3500. I then looked up the quotes for jet blast and camera - $600. They are extremely overpriced and use high sales tactics. Foolish, fast and expensive choice in a hugely competitive market. Won't be recommending to anyone.

$800 to put a plastic part into the toilet , couldn’t unblock the kitchen sink so wanted another $1200 to use the electric eel!
Rang anther plumber and he said it should only cost $300 to clear it, I ordered him to stop and leave my property. Paid the $800 reluctantly to get rid of him.
I have never been so upset with a tradesman in all my life, I was traumatised from my encounter with these cowboy who are out to rip you off, stay clear of them at any costs, it is not worth the cost and anguish!

Had blocked drain in sink told price questioned it as being excessive told was complex poured acid down and charge $1200 then had hide to offer $20 for 5 star review False and misleading be warned !!
They caused a leak and said it was our fault. Don’t use them or ask for refund

$595 to fix a stiff tap and 20 minutes of labour. They require $85 before they even arrive. My fault for going ahead with this but I was stuck with limited time. Will never use again.

Didn't do the inspection I asked for did the wrong pipe.Came back to do the correct one and turns out they don't have a long enough camera anyway.But I still paid over $1,400 for the pleasure.Should've read the reviews.

I called these guys out to come and give me a price for what was an obvious block caused by a broken/moved washer at my elderly mother’s unit. The tap worked fine the one day and the next the water would not come out. All other taps were working fine. They quoted me $380!! When I declined the obviously over the top quote, they still charged me the $42 for coming out to give a quote. I called another plumbing company who did the job in 20 minutes and the charge was $110. I will be sure to never use these guys again.

My gas hot water system stopped working on Friday night I paid $132 for a call which is ok it was Saturday
Jack told me system was gone the house was built in 2005 so that's ok Quote to replace was $3461, The unit costs $1225 I'm a single woman but in my 60's and not stupid so I said no thanks even though Jack's supervisor !!! tried to convince me otherwise. I had my hot water repaired today for $250
Do not use these people. Despite dept of Fair trading these businesses still keep trying to rip people off

I had two leaking cisterns to be repaired. Peter called over and quoted $1900+ gst without even opening the cistern. I had researched and had an idea of the cost. When I stated that this was a lot more than I expected after few goes the price came down to $1300+gst. I then explained that my understanding is that it should be a not more than couple of hundred dollars and declined I was charged a call out fee of $39.

I had another plumber call over and fix both cisterns for a total of $110!!!! The job took less than 30 minutes.

Why is this company allowed to operate and cheat people in this manner??

EXPENSIVE- OVERPRICED- Upgrade of an old galvanised Gas line from meter to house......two appliances hooked back up..... $7500...... Father sick with cancer was vulnerable.... agreed without other quotes.... three other quotes I obtained were $3500-$4500 ..... Basically worked out at $1000 an hour including parts !!! Never Again- Asked for itemised quote never responded, use a programme to work out quote and ask for 10% up front !!!!

Regret giving them the job as my sewer drain started to overflow just Put jetblasterwas roots couldn't clear the root properly charge me 1k for 1hr another 8k for furtherfix

Fast way plumber left my home 20 mins ago. He did 1 hours work to clear a blocked drain. Charged me $845 apparently with small discount..lol.
Did the job but I feel like he’s stolen money from me. Should have read the reviews first.
I won’t be using them again and I suggest others read the reviews before calling them.

My enquiry was to Wilson's Plumbing (obviously trading under FastWay) I would not have chosen the second co. It was assumed I wanted emergency work. Late arrival of plumber who was rather dismissive in style. Made a bad decision to accept what was a very high quote...being tired and elderly. Paid half on c/c Quote: $694 to clean thread and replace a floor bayonet ( costing under $30). I called to cancel work in the morning and was told I could not cancel as I had signed the contract. A second plumber, who was a decent young man, came to do the work...it took 20 mins plus a couple of checks around. Further correspondence with [Name Removed] gave no joy. He would not address my concerns or answer two relevant questions as to my rights and overcharging . Certainly this company is not to be recommended for customer service...particularly in management and particularly with senior customers. I will follow up with Fair Trading. Interesting to see 1 star reviews are being quickly followed by 5 stars !!!
Find someone else and be sure to read ALL reviews .

Very pleasant to deal with, punctual arrival of the plumber, he climbed on to my single story roof and checked out my solar hot water system. He looked for a few minutes and came down. He had taken photos of the leak and showed me, I had no idea what I was looking at. He then went to his truck to prepare a quote. Thats when I became worried over $9,000.00 to replace with a Rheem. I didn't accept the quote!
I rang around and eventualy booked Solahart at $4000.00 to do the same job!

I requested a quote to disconnect a pool heater. The representative also offered to give me a guttering quote which I was willing to do. The quote on a small 3 bedroom cottage for small water tank and gutters replaced was $45000. NOT $4500 as could possibly be considered appropriate. The salesman then proceeded to attempt to get me to sign a contract and pay a 10% deposit while promising me all sorts of amazing things relating to service. I had to ask him to leave before he would stop pressuring me into the contract. I do not trust this company as far as I can spit a rat... I have since been threatened with legal action because of my review on their website. I did try and call the organisation to discuss my concerns prior to lodging my review, but they would not put me through to a complaints section or to the owner of the business. I was advised during the call that the rate quoted was the going rate. When I challenged the legal threat, I received a phone call to discuss my concerns and was advised that I should not have received that automated (!) response as I had a valid complaint. I was offered a refund (this was not part of my complaint) of my call out fee. I discussed my concerns with the representative who acknowledged my issues regarding taking advantage of vulnerable people. The threat to me, of legal action has not been removed from their website. I am not sure if the discussion will initiate any change to their practice.

I was forced to call a plumber due to both my normal plumbers being on holidays so I tried the first local one that popped up and who were available. I had to act straight away as my sewer pipes were causing sewerage to come up in my neighbours yard, he'd called the environment department on me who came out and said I had to rectify it immediatley or I would be fined. This gave me no time to get another quote. I was quoted just under 1K to flush the sewer pipe with a high pressure hose and put a camera down there. I said to the plumber this seems very expensive however not having this work done before I had no clue. He told me that they were very competitive. With the environment department breathing down my throat I felt I had no choice to go ahead. There was no problem with my pipes, it turned out to be the neighbour who had called the council on me, roots from his trees.
The worked carried out did not even fix the problem, so 1K to flush a bit of water down the pipe and stick a camera down there. They then quoted me almost 10K to fix it. I told them to forget it. My plumber returned the next day, also flushed the pipe and put the camera down there, then cleared the tree roots, all at a cost of $400.
I went to the Dept of Fair Trading who approached them and they refused to come to the party in any way and there would be a cost to go further, which I could not afford.
Do not use these plumbers, there are so many similar revues on here, I would hazard a guess that the good ones are fake or they have been offered a reward which this company does for good reviews. They are rip off merchants and high pressure salesman, which came from the supervisor Ryan who quoted the almost 10K the next day to fix it. I see that nobody ever comes on here from the company to answer any of the negative reviews, probably because there are too many.
For those of you on here who have been ripped off too, we should get together and do something, it is not okay.

I was given a quote of $3200 for a replacement hot water system but got this done by Rheem for approx $1500 + GST for same product.Please don't use this service,avoid at all cost.How they can get this price wrong is beyond me.
