When renewing a business insurance policy, rates came back higher than expected. I reached out to Founder Shield on a weekend, and a couple days late had new quotes that were substantially lower than our renewal quote. Plus the process was relatively painless even given the short notice. It was good to deal with insurance professionals.

FounderShield was easy to work with. The people were all professional and responsive. The reason for four stars and not five is that we needed a specific Endorsement (a CG 20) required by our landlord (a government entity). After some back-and-forth, we were finally told that "CHUBB, does not produce the specific form the entity is requesting." We are still waiting for a response from our landlord (the City of San Francisco) on whether they will accept the alternate form that was provided. If not, then we are going to have to find other insurance.

Libby is by far the most attentive and responsive insurance agent I've ever had the pleasure to work with. We had a terrific experience with Founder Shield. After multiple other brokers failed to find the insurance we needed, we were delighted when staff at Founder Shield was able to deliver. Their staff was available, patient and capable. It was a great experience. We will be moving our insurance coverage needs to Founder Shield going forward as a result of it.

Consistent rapid and concise customer service from both broker and support personnel. An evident ethos of “let’s make this easier”. I've managed the insurance function for various companies for over 30 years and this is the most cost and TIME effective approach I have encountered.

I was referred to Founder Shield by a friend who works with technology-based startups as I do. I have found working with bricks and mortar companies to be a pain - find one, go meet with them, sometimes several times, telephone calls, and then signing. Founder Shield was simple - go to the website, fill out the form, get a quote quickly, pay and Voila - you are insured. I need a highly rated insurer and they delivered. Could not be simpler. I highly recommend Founder Shield.

In general, responsiveness to current issues is A+. Also, ability to quickly provide workable solutions to problems is A+. Not yet rating VERY GOOD due to the fact that one big issue was a combo of FS and company inattention. Had FS been on the ball, there would have been no problem. In the end though, I've been a CFO for over 20 years and FS is far more efficient to deal with than either local agencies or the large national brokers.

I found Founder Shield very easy to work with and I preferred their portal over the lengthy and usually not completely organized method of giving verbal responses to an agent over the phone, half of which they either do not get right or need multiple repetitions to confirm.
