I have never purchased from Gazelle but have sold multiple electronics through their website. Overall, the process was simple and quick. They gave me ( what I felt) was a fair price. Their website/customer service appears to have some issues and delays. However, once resolved, it did not diminish from the overall experience. It lived up to its excellent reputation.

Nightmare don't buy any iPhone 11 Pro Max) I spent $1,069 total. This is a scam they sell a locked phone that is useless junk to buyers, this cost me days dealing with this. L spent money with other services trying to unlock it and didn't work, Gazelle stated the iPhone 11 was unlocked but it is not. Warning do not be a victim just buy from Apple because this place is a rip-off IPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB (Unlocked) - Space Gray / Good #1 iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB (Unlocked) Space Gray / Good $1,069.00 this was a lie and untrue. It was not unlocked

Fair and efficient. Kept me updated all the way thru the process. Even increased my amount because it was better than they thought it would be for the age of the phone. Very pleased with all aspects of selling them an iPhone

They sent me an offer of $130 for my iPhone 8 that was in great condition. I sent them everything and then a week later they send me an email saying there are excessive scratches on the phone. There were no scratches on the phone when I sent it in. They said they would now only give me $50. I told they no chance and had them send my phone back. Looking at other reviews they do this to everyone just hoping you will accept the low ball offer. What a joke.

I had an iPhone 6s that was in near perfect condition. I used it for only a year and it had no scratches that I could see. They offered me $45 but then after receiving my phone they claimed it had scratches and was only worth $1. I think they try to rip off their customers by offering nothing in hopes that they just accept it to avoid further hassle.

SCAM! Here's what happened. I sent my iphone 8 to them in PERFECT condition. Not a scratch, dent or problem with the device. I had it in a case it's entire lifetime. They promised me a good price compared to other vendors, but as soon as they received the device, they said it didn't meet their standards and had "excessive scratches" so they gave me a lowball offer, which I regretfully accepted. I wish I fought them but honestly I need the cash and didn't have the time since I was about to travel overseas. What a waste of time this place is. I hope they're all arrested and their profits are confiscated.

Awful experience got an offer for my MacBook Pro in perfect working condition everything worked on it I checked before sending it in once it was sent it they claimed a port didn’t work which I knew was false they wouldn’t give me the original offer so I requested to have my item sent back when item was returned it didn’t have the charger I emailed them requesting my charger back they sent a charger that did not work for my computer after calling multiple times to explain this they informed me they had thrown on my charger and there was nothing that could be done now I had a computer I couldn’t even use they offered to have my send the computer back n to receive my full offer after having the discussion they never sent me the packaging label after calling again they tried to blame me for not receiving it when they never attached it once item was sent they confirmed on the phone where to send the payment and they sent the payment to the wrong place would never use them again

I Brought Ipad and somehow it get locked and i didn't get any support from Gazelle.I have contacted the apple support and they asked the Reseller information (Who sold the device to Gazelle) they didn't accept the Gazelle Receipt and Gazelle failed to Provide the Original Receipt. In short i have to Scrap this IPAD.
Please refrain your self to buy any device from Gazelle. God knows whom they are Purchasing these devices because they failed to Provide Receipt to Apple support.

They gave a great offer for my very lightly used iPad mini (better than all other buyers), and then when my tablet got to them, they dropped the offer way lower. As in, they paid me less than any other service offered because they didn't think my tablet was in perfect shape. They gave me a time limit to contact customer service and refuse my offer or get it adjusted. Every time I emailed, a different representative replied. While contacting them, I was told the time limit had expired and they could no longer help me. Thus, I got stuck with a payment far lower than the estimate I'd gotten. I felt like they bait-&-switched me.

I have used Gazelle for many years to sell my iPhone and iPads to when new electronics become available. I never own any device for more than a year. Gazelle has in the past offered me by far the best buy back price of any company that will buy back electronics. Certainly much better than Apple's trade in value or your local carrier will give you as a trade-in. I have recommended Gazelle to many others. Until Now! As all my electronics are always in cases from day 1, my iPhones and iPads are in perfect condition for the year that I own them, until Apple comes out with a better device a year later and I buy the new device. I'm a perfectionist and I don't like smudges, smears, fingerprints and certainly not scratches on the electronics that I use. However, over the last two years with my iPhone 10 XS and the iPhone 11 that I have tried to sell them to them, Gazelle has come up with "new" policies or standards, it would seem. Of course before you mail your items in to gazelle, you fill out a small questionnaire stating the products condition. I have always marked perfect in the past because I would consider my electronics to be in perfect condition. I recently offered them my iPhone 11 a few weeks ago and was given a buy back price $500. When they got my iPhone to their headquarters, they emailed me back and said my device had too many scratches and they would need reduce the price by $90. I'm going to include pictures of that iPhone 11 that I sent them... with all the so called scratches and you will see what I mean. My personal opinion of what is happening at Gazelle is that they are taking advantage of the Corona Virus situation as well as peoples impatience to just get paid and get it over with. They offered me a lesser price than what was originally said and I contacted them to say no way, send it back... I just bet they were surprised. Here's a hypothetical situation of what I believe is going on. Gazelle is offering high dollar payback on used electronics to get people hooked into wanting to send their electronics in to them and getting paid. When Gazelle comes back with, "your phone is not worth what you said it was" and reduces the buyback price to you, I would imagine that most people would say to themselves, go ahead and take the discounted price and run. I don't need that device anymore. Most people aren't going to want to go through the hassle of Gazelle sending their device back to them and them having nothing to do with it, so they take the discounted price. Gazelle has their property the possession so, just get it over with and just take the reduced price and be done with it. When you add in the situation of the Corona Virus, where most people are hurting for money now and will most likely take anything they can get for their used device. Get it quickly and be done with it. That makes me very angry that Gazelle maybe using the Corona Virus to their advantage to take advantage of people. So, here is my buyers beware. Before you get involved with Gazelle, remember what I have written here. It's better just to take your iPhone, iPad or Android to your local carrier and trade in on the new device you want to buy. Because in the end, Gazelle is not going to give you a fair price at all. It's happened twice to me now.

I bought a used iPhone from Gazelle and within 2 months the touch screen stopped working. They would not offer any rebate or repair for a gigantic flaw in what they sold.

I sent in two phones, both in good working order. They lost one phone and then tried to say I sent in an entirely different phone. I filed a complaint in which they reported I would get a follow-up. Well, I did not. I did however get a follow-up offer stating that the phone I sent in had a cracked glass and too many scratches so it was only eligible for recycling. That is not the condition of the phone when I sent it in. I can only believe they are not careful with the phones or are just scamming us to make additional profit. I will never use gazelle again!

Always very good experience so far. I sent the product and they received it and it took about 3 days and I had my money. Of course you can always sell it third hand for more money but sometimes there offer isn’t actually that bad and it’s not really worth the time to sell the product to make a little more money.

This is the second time I have used Gazelle. Each time it was a quick, easy procedure. They send everything needed with simple directions to follow. There was a small scratch on my phone, so I rated its condition as good. I received an email saying that my phone was better than my rating, so they added five dollars to my check - not much, but definitely appreciated!

Phone sent in was in excellent condition, they downgraded it from $258 to $60. When asked they said "it was either scratched or damaged" but could not say where, after arguing they went up to $120 which was still less than half of the original quote. I took video and pictures of the phone when it was sent in too. I had also purchased an iPhone XS from them in "excellent" condition. When it arrived battery health was at 95%. However within two weeks battery was at 70% health. Now 6 months later the phone will no longer power on, and understandably they won't do anything as I could have damaged it. However, I know I didn't. I have a feeling when I bring it in to Apple they will find non-Apple parts. I had used gazelle 4 times before this. Twice to sell my phone, and twice for my wife's. Three of those times were flawless but also years ago now. In my opinion it seems they have gotten too big for their own good and don't seem to care about customer assurance anymore. I will choose from one of the many other options to sell a phone in the future. I will also most certainly never buy from them again.

Amazingly simple and smooth process. As long your phone meets the description/condition described they pay you the amount quoted. Used twice to sell old phones and they were amazing

I really wish I could give them 5 stars, but I can’t in good conscience. Their website says they send checks to you by USPS first class. This is a LIE!! They send it standard mail. Their website states that you should receive your check in 3-7 days. Also, another LIE. You’ll receive an email that says somewhere around 7-10 days instead. They send an email that says “click here” to track your payment. ANOTHER LIE!!! It takes you to a link that shows your “deal”. They send you paper print outs for sending your package, BUT you have to pay for the box. They claim they make this as easy as possible. ANOTHER LIE!!! Y’all need to fix this as this is false advertisement!! Very disappointing!!!

I submitted an offer for my iPhone 7 that was in great condition. It had always been in a case with a screen protector - no scratches to be noted. When they received the phone, they stated "excessive scratches" and lowered their offer by $60+. I declined, and they mailed a phone back. The phone returned to me does have quite a few scratches. The battery was also at 10%. I mailed mine in fully charged. I don't trust this company at all.

BEWARE! BEWARE! Bait and Switch. Take multiple photos of your phone, every inch. Take a video of your phone. They found scratches on my phone and adjusted my payment down. Unfortunately I only took two pictures of phone in box (before shipping) and couldn't get a close up of the area to dispute the scratches they found were not there prior to me shipping. In any account the scratches were minimal at best and on the back cover, could probably be buffed out. Doubt they were there since phone has been in OtterBox since I left the store. I used them anyway since adjustment was only $15 (not worth my time). But if they try and change everyone's by $10-$15 it's a pretty large sum. I would recommend not using as you see by other customers terrible reviews. But if you do, cover yourself.
