The customer service of this company is really pathetic and they do not have sympathy with their customers. I had some issues so due to all this I had zero usage of the service over 2 months but this company was taking regular payments from my credit card. I tried to log a complaint to get my money back then realised this company does not have a complaints department or team. Their processes are all messed up and they did not give me my money back. I am really disappointed and have now cancelled my contract with them. It's a small reseller hosting business ran by couple of persons so it's not a full-fledged company. Beware, you'll not get a good service and good customer service from them so avoid this company and do not waste your money with non-professionals. Now this business will try to justify their wrong actions with lame excuses.

Guru is one of the few hosts I trust with my client sites. As a digital agency, we've been through our fair share of hosting companies and most underperform in performance, support or both. This isn't the case with Guru.

They really care about their customers.

Look forward to many more carefree hosting years.

One year in and I'm a very happy customer. I manage multiple client sites on a Guru account and they've been brilliant from day one. The Litespeed set up is fast, and support are very helpful. I'm especially thankful to AJ who often seems to end up with the night shift - I'm currently working from Asia meaning I'm always hitting up their support at UK night time. He's always quick, funny and gets my problem solved. I've also had a few complex challenges and they've tried hard to resolve them, even when I've found issues actually are caused by third parties.

I moved to Guru about 18 months ago after a terrible experience with a different hosting provider( and after trialing many others) . It is hands down the best hosting experience I've found.
The speed of the sites is amazing and customer service is unbeatable.
If anyone is looking for reliable UK hosting then don't hesitate trying these guys, you won't regret it

About 18 months ago I moved my website to Guru, it was one of the best decisions I have made regarding my website. I recently had an issue that was nothing to do with the hosting, but the Tech support team went above and beyond. It really is great to know there are certain things I just do not have to worry about any more. Things go wrong, things happen - but with Guru I know my website is in safe hands.

I first worked with the team way, way back when UK based hosting was a thing. I rejoined them with the Guru brand in March 2017 and am quite happy here since!

From memory, I think I used some help moving sites but it's really straightforward. I rarely use support as things just work but when I do need help (I recently needed help checking parked domains on my reseller account), it is always fast, patient and friendly.

There are a few restrictions - no catch-all on email and a limit on the number of files in an "unboosted" account, but it is understandable as this is part of the way in which they keep the service fast and available.

I often recommend Guru when people ask for a UK based host. The team have delivered a great service at a competitive price and I see no reason for me to switch! (Looking at the site to find a link to leave a review, I see there are now "pro" plans which help to provide a painless journey as my hosting needs grow.

Just completed my first visit to Guru! My advisor Mary, was excellent! Very helpful! Nothing was too much for her to investigate, as we were navigating our way through numerous flight/date options to keep the price down for me & my family’s Xmas trip! Thank you Mary!!!

Let down by previous ISP, GURU moved half a dozen sites across quickly and with no downtime or loss of emails, etc.. Excellent support, quick and helpful responses even to what must have seemed like the simplest of situations.

GURU have hosted my website for the past 2 years, I can't recall a single issue during this time. Speed of my website has never been better and support are always at the end of the phone when I've messed something up at whatever time of the day or night.

I recently switched to GURU hosting and I'm very happy with my experience so far.
The servers are much faster, and the 24/7 support is excellent.

Guru are by far the best hosting provider I have used in the last 15 years.
The service is actually 24/7 unlike other so when there is an issue they are there to talk to straight away and a ticket System that works.

I have used many other companies over the years and when I don’t sell clients my hosting on guru servers I point them in the direction of guru

I can’t recommend them highly enough

Signed up for Guru Hosting about a week ago. Suffice it to say that I was so impressed with the pricing, plan options and support service, including free website migration, that I have just moved a further website to Guru. Both are running well at their new home and at a much lower price than the previous hosting company. Will shortly add a third site.

I've been with Guru for a few years now and they have always been super supportive of any questions or issues I have. On top of the that, their platform seems to provide the best performance of any shared hosting package. Also thanks to Adam in support for his help with some self-inflicted issues I had recently.

There are lots of resellers out there, but this is the best company I've found in 14 years of being a professional web developer. Servers are beyond fast. Services are rock solid. Support is sensational. Absolutely the best host.

Have used many web hosting companies over the years some great but then get taken over by bigger companies and then their support services suffer so I was looking for a new host. I found Guru as they specialise in WordPress hosting and so I have gradually moved my WP sites over to them. Blazing fast speeds compared to other hosts and the UK based support has been top notch, replying to tickets really fast. Would highly recommend.

I've been a Guru hosting customer on and off for over 10 years now.

Having had experience of many hosting providers over the years that include the likes of Rackspace and WP Engine I've always come back to Guru.

They offer a great blend of affordably priced hosting for freelancers who need to spin sites up quickly or host multiple sites and pretty awesome customer service that is available 24/7. I rarely have to wait more than 20 minutes for a response to a support ticket and the help is routinely above and beyond any service contract that is in place.

When employed, Guru has always been a consideration for hosting requirements.

I've happily provided references for them to prospective customers and count a number of Guru customers as customers of my own.

If one area could be improved it's around a Guru account holder being a support contact on another account - for a long time it hasn't been possible to use your main account email, which means you do have sometimes jump through some hoops to get support for clients that aren't hosted on your account. That said it shows their approach to customer security works.

if you need optimised Wordpress/Magento/Woocommerce hosting or a really quick (Litespeed caching is great) general PHP hosting option, be sure to check Guru out.

I'm a seasoned web developer and I was having problems with my previous host - some websites were frequently taking 20 seconds or more to load and the host just wanted to blame me. Sigh... I've been through this merry dance countless times before!

Then a postcard from Guru popped through the door. I'd never heard of them before so I got in touch and asked for a free trial so I could test. I was blown away by my test results and so decided to move all of my sites across to Guru! Once migrated and configured with the LiteSpeed plugin, the site that was previously loading slowly was now blazing fast! In fact, some of my websites were loading 1000% faster and they were consistently fast, not just fast some of the time.

I'd wholeheartedly recommend Guru Cloud Hosting!

I moved 30 sites to Guru one year ago, and the whole process was very straightforward. Support was excellent and the hosting has been very reliable, with no down time and plenty of capacity and bandwidth. My old service was always failing with sites going offline and problems with email, but I have had no issues so far with Guru. I was recommended to Guru by another developer and I would pass that recommendation on to anyone.

We been using Guru for several months so far for our company website with the SSL certificate included. Recently needed their support over some issues we had with our Wordpress install and security from plugins. The support team (UK based) were on the case as soon as I submitted a ticket and were there every step of the way. So refreshing having them local. They came highly recommended to me and I would happily recommend them to others!

So they charge you £5 for email forwarding, even if their FAQ says that the only reason for being charged is to host the email. But forwarding takes 0 disk space (and yet they still charge).
Wouldn't be too fussed but its twice the price for just the email addon. Their wording is also wrong on the ordering page as it says all packages include email, when it is defiantly a paid £5+vat extra!

EDIT: I did use a text chat for trying to find out what was happening, they where not able to help whatsoever, now I'm talking to them through this review impressively - although they haven't changed anything.

Watch out & AVOID
EDIT: They tried to remove the review as it was flagged as incomplete somehow. My experience with the company stopped when they where overcharging for services that shouldn't be - if this is something that shouldn't be mentioned on a review then even trustpilot can't be trusted!
