Heartland American THIEVES I sent for a lambskin Jacket and was guaranteed to get it before Christmas. It came a week before but it was marked extra large but was really a large. So I called service and was placed on hold 3/4 of a hour. Then told to send it back and they will rush order a 2 X. Now it is a week after Christmas still no jacket. I just got off the phone with these thieves and was told they have no record of the last phone call and they don't have the jacket that was returned. I have done business with this company three times before and had trouble every time. But at least I received what I ordered after a hassel. This time they got my MONEY and I got nothing but the shaft ! THESE people are ignorant nasty and have no respect for customers. BEWARE !!!!!! 2 times i ordered from heartlessland and 2 times very disatisfied!!!! Havent received my product but already paid my credit card for it! PLUS!!!!>>>> what rebate????? why would I want a 10.00 gift card??? OH YEAH.... to get ripped off again!!! Already went to BBB! Also, would be nice to know if product was on backorder or unavailable i wouldnt have order it!!!

My wife and I purchase a laptop from Heartland America to give to our Daughter I'm disable so we live on a set bugget the first one we got we had to send back because it didn't work and it took over two weeks before we were told to send it back to a company called GCM INC. who was the ones that fixs and goes over them after 7 weeks I had to call to get a laptop sent back this next laptop was over eight years old and would not read the internet card so you could not get on the internet plus keys stick and the cursor moves on it's own after working on it and updating the programs we were able to get on line but still had the other things wrong we tryed to go through Heartland to get us one that work right or give us a refund to this heartland told us it was not there problem and it was up to GCM I have writen to Heartland using the add as a go by telling them we did not buy the laptop from GMC and It was not GMC saleperson who we talk to all this to no help. I have even wrote to GCM and have heard nothing so much for Satisfaction Guarantee and if you can find it in writing you se it is only good for three day We lost over 400.00 don't make our mistake if you see it for sale here buy from someone else the best thing Heartland could do would be get a back bone and stand up for what thay sell.

Received two broken security cameras from Heartland America. The return process is involved and difficult. When I called the company to discuss it the customer service rep was short and nasty with me. When I mentioned how inconvenient this was for me she hung up on me. I called again and the next person did the same thing. So I cancelled all further contact with the company over the process of several more calls and drove to the post office and returned the cameras at my expense and also tracked them. The cameras arrived two days later back at Heartland America. I called and confirmed it with them and asked when I would be credited for the returned merchandise. They said in a couple of days. I called back this evening and found I still have not been credited for the return, but instead they have shipped out two more cameras. I could not believe it and again the customer service rep refused to apologize and acted put off that I was upset I was getting more defective merchandise from Heartland America. She was extremely rude and not the least bit contrite at putting me through further hassles. I called my credit card company who again contacted Heartland America and the woman was again nasty and short with me. It's not my fault they sent broken merchandise, nor is it my fault they sent out more cameras when I told them no less than ten times I didn't want anything else from them. I will never do business with this company again. EVER! And I would highly recommend others avoid them as well. They are horrible.

I placed an order that I made a mistake on, and Heartland America caught the mistake that I made and quickly corrected it. I both e-mailed and spoke with someone over the phone. I found their customer service to be quite good, actually, and they corrected the mistake quickly.

ordered a tornado string trimmer. the item was came quikcer that expected. item was in good condition; well packed. past december i purchased and internet radio and photo patrol security cam. had to replace the photo patrol cam because usb was not connecting to pc and without calling cust svc but by using their invoice packed with their shipment i got a fast response and the item was replaced without any issues. so my experience is good.

Don't ever order from this company on the Internet they will change the prices while in the middle of your order like they are watching you type or something and if you are offered the save you money buy a certain amount they will waive the shipping well I believe they erased my second item on purpose to change to the fullest price as possible and the numbers to the address where erased for some strange reason, some kind of trick to get you to approve the amount they changed it too thinking your still getting all or both items at that time without telling you bout the second item delete, don't know how this happened after reviewing the total amount to be charged on my credit card throughly,,,,,And say "we will be glad to order the second item for you but you need to pay" and no shipping adjustment..THESE PEOPLE ARE PROFESSIONAL HUSTLERS FOR THE COMPANY! Please watch out! call in by phone instead of ordering threw the internet. They don't give a shit if they mess up your order, I believe they do this on purpose to get every extra money they can get big time some how and play dum, plus they like hanging up on you too, numerous calls to them!

Heartland America MN. Bait and switch on prices (you have to be a "member" to get best price). Cashed check but didn't send item for nearly 3 weeks. Box came damaged and remote was missing. HA wouldn't deal with it and referred us to manufacturer. Did not give a crap about customer service. If they had negative stars, would give that rating!

I placed my order on 8/18/07 and received a message on my phone on 08/21/07 asking me to verify my order. I called and verified and all seemed ok. I looked today online to get a tracking number if it had shipped and saw it had been canceled. This was never discussed during my call. I called customer service and she verified it was canceled via my phone call the day before. I assured her I had not canceled the order and to just keep it canceled and take me off the mailing list. Never again. There are enough good companies out there that will ship the product(s) within a couple of days...

I order May 13th with a $10 off coupon code that went through when i made my order.

I then did not get an email with my receipt, however 5 days later, i got an email saying that my order was shipped without a price by the way. When i receive the grill, the receipt says full price!! I called customer service and they told me that the coupon is only good for order over $25. However my order did go through with the $10 off coupon.

NEVER ORDER FROM HEARTLAND AMERICA AGAIN!!!

Everything I ordered was made in China and not made in the "Heartland America". All junk. Nothing was a good value. My 1250 watt power inverter would not even power 850 Watts. I got around to test it a few days after the return date so they refused to take it back. I am out $80.99 plus shipping. I will never order from them again. Just one more that think it's OK to be a thief in the work place. Shame on you!

I tried to order from Heartland America, order number above. First item was "no longer available". Second item was ordered and it took 3 days for the order to be confirmed. They said it takes that long to verify my credit card information. How'd you like to stand in line at Wal-Mart for 3 days to buy something with a credit card.

So, the order goes through and it was immediately backordered until the 17th. Called on that day and they said it was backorderd until the 25th. I cancelled the order. This was all a result of receiving a catalog that said "we want you back". This is not the way to get get customers back.

I have been with this club as a valued member, yeah value for them not me, since many years now.

I recently purchased a pair of shoes, ok, everything was ok, but I notice that less then a month later the shoes are reduced in there catalog, i call for a refund. Well quess what I missed the 60 days by 15 days, so no refund.

Ok, then couldn't they give me a break, as a valued member, no, so I then asked to cancel my membership, well sure, but wouldn't you know I saved so much on my items, as a valued member, and I did spend a lot of money, they said that my cancellation refund on the remaining 7 months or so could not be refunded as it was covered on the savings I had made from being a "valued" member. LoL, you got to be joking Heartlessland.

So much for being valued? i wrote them an email explaining that I will now save a lot more money searching on-line, and at other walk in stores.

Thanks, but no thanks, and you should avoid too.

I recently purchased a hang-up from Heart Land America. when I purchased the product over the phone, the girl told me that I would not have any trouble putting it together, only two handles she said. So I was sold. when it arrived, I found it to be much too complicated to put together. two many srewes nuts and bolts, could't understand manual..no picture, no cd. to follow through on. So I waned to return it...but customer service, when I called three times, refused to help me out, refused to send me a return label, said I had to send i myself, it is too heavy for me to get it in the car, I am an older lady, and live alone, and have no help for anyone to do it for me...had they sent me a c.d. to follow instructions that would have been more helpful,,,all three customer service rep, were rude, had an attitude, and one hung up on me...will never do business with this company again.I offered to pay for the return label, but they all refuses...I have never had dealings with a company who not only does not help, does not provide, return policy labels. I am totally discusted, and now have to sell it on line, as I have no way of getting it to the p,o. to return it...it would cost me as much as what I paid for it. the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Got two record players,and they are both defective,returned one,had to pay $35.00 to ship it back, and have to wait a month to get the new one. Avoid their electronics like the plague. Their customer service came off very smug and uncaring. I used to love them, now I hate them.
Never sending them my money again.

Do not buy any electronic product from Heartland America.I bought a Memorex Boombox that was defective.Mailed it back and received another one.It no power cord with it.After calling cautomer service and receiving attitude.That I could just send it back or contact Memorex to buy the power cord.I bought six C size batteries to test the boombox before buying a power cord.Found out the the second on is defective also.I put in a compliant with the BBB.I find it amusing that the BBB gives this company a A+ rating.Because they sure don't give a fig about their customers.Sell junk products and know the products are junk and sell them anyway.It's a scam operation.They have your money and you received junk.They figure you won't return it because of the cost to mail.So they get your money and you get nothing.

I regretful had purchased products from this company...Giving them my credit card to my bank a huge mistake...Heartland America charged my account a $44.98 membership fee without a letter or so much as a phone call! However Heartland agreed to pay the $44.98 fee back...However as well I am stuck with a $33.96 overdraft fee to my account! I talked to a manager and she blew me off claiming I was sent a letter and I replied I did not receive this Letter and Sometimes a letter isn't enough, You should have called! Furthermore I haven't bought a thing from you in years and I am tired of business charging people for memberships people do not want or ask for!

I purchased a "sale item" at $12.98, and used a coupon to get some discount. Final cost is $5.98, and I made a screen capture. As soon as I clicked "submit", the final cost suddenly changed to $21.93 retail price, and they attempted to charge my card at that price. (I used virtual card with limited credit of $6, so the charge was not successful.)

I sent them my screen capture, but my email was not responded, instead, they sent me email asking for another credit card. I called in, and the service rep was quite rude. I told him I can email or fax in my screen capture, but was declined, saying he has no access to internet or fax. In the end, he agrees to cancel my order.

After I sent an email to complain, a customer service rep (Mr. Kutz) got back to me right away (in an hour!). He's nice and helpful, and offered to adjust the price for me.

My advice is: On this site, use virtual card with limit credit if you have one. Email customer service directly from their website if you have issues.

I just got off the phone with Heartland America. I ordered and received in four days a pair of yard lamps. I also enrolled in their " Value Club America" for $19.99. In their welcome to the club letter it clearly states that they have a sixty day best price promise which means to me that they will match the lower price of an advertised product of the same make and kind. I got an advertisement from Heartland America one day after I received my order for the lamps at half the price I had just paid for them. I called them and was on hold for nearly one half hour. Someone finally answered and told me that she could not help me said I needed to speak with a supervisor. Back on hold for ten more min. Then someone answered who was as rude as anyone I've ever dealt with in the retail business. I was told that the lower price did not apply because it was a special price. It sounds like I just got ripped off. I ask if I could get my $19.99 back and was told yes but they would have to deduct from it. This is where I just lost it and gave up the liars won again for now.
