My mother since 2000 has had a policy and the amounts keep going up, when I calculated the amount she has paid and what the insurance will pay out upon death someone is making one hell of a lot of money. It would seem that these contracts lock in your money and if you cancel all is lost. I'll be taking this further.

3 months, still no payment- they promise you everything and deliver nothing- if/when I get my payout, I will be cancelling my policy immediately- these guys are crooks. Been taking my money for 13 years, but definitely don't like giving some back.

I was having a nap before I started work as I work late nights, and was awoken by these people basically deciding for me that I get the insurance. Even though I said I was not interested, the woman told me they will call me back regardless to discuss everything further. From that point onwards they called me non stop every single day until I eventually picked up to tell them I was NOT interested, the man refused to listen to me when I said I decided to go with another company. He insisted to discuss premiums with me and would not listen. Absolutely and most definitely the most ignorant and annoying people I've ever had a conversation with.

I called to make an enquiry about insurance and even though I said I wasn't interested I have been receiving 10 calls per day from them (and spoken to them 2-3 times per day). Never leave your number with them

I have submitted cliam application for my income protection since Oct 2017 until March 2018 has not been finalised and I still need to pay the monthly payments that insurance representative told me to keep pay the payment on my suitiation I have lost my income and I have to get the loan to keep the insurance current on my case this is very hard for me, if I stop make the payment they will be stop my cover and I believe they will do because insuranceline have been cancel my previous policy without making any phone call to me to confirm on any reason circumstances and insuranceline always drag thing along and just try to find the hole to avoid.

I was a member for 7 years and changed my policy to a no increase premium.So it does not go up each year.BUT they started me a new policy and I lost all of the money I had put into the previous account. Also is it right that they cancel your policy after you turn 69.I had a friend who was 79 and they cancelled his policy because he had only been a member for 2 years and they said he was too old to be a member.

On a daily basis I receive three to four calls from this company's marketing service, often where nobody speaks and simply laughs into the phone. Not sure how they got my number as I have had nothing to do with this company and now don't ever plan to. The harassment has been reported to the authorities.

They have been calling me everyday for 3 weeks, I told them the first time they called I didn't want any insurance, but their call centre kept calling me, when I asked to speak to a manager she was rude and didn't care and I'm still getting calls.

Paid within 48 hours , fast and easy . Was also sent flowers and a card. Only had the insurance for 15 months , opted for extra cover all recievd in full. Happy with my insurance

I wanted to cancel my policy due to relocating overseas and the operator I spoke to really gave me a hard time to try stay on even though I told him I was MOVING OVERSEAS like seriously?? He really wouldn’t take NO for an answer and this made me angry jeez

I phoned InsuranceLine Funeral Insurance today to try to reduce premium payments for my grandmother who has gone into nursing home for dementia. She has been paying InsuranceLine for almost 20 years with her total payments being over $20,000. Her funeral policy benefit amount is only for $11,000. She is now unable to continue paying her monthly premiums of $168.00 as she requires higher care and is on an aged pension.

We simply stated we would like to reduce her premiums if at all possible considering she is unable to pay this amount and she has been such a long term customer for them. Plus, surely there is no risk with this policy considering she has almost paid double the amount of the policy itself. I was met with a script about terms and conditions and that they could not help (and most definitely did not want to.) These people are preying on the old. They continue to increase the policy amount until they can no longer afford them and therefore never have to pay them out! Disgusted!!

For over two months now I've received numerous unsolicited calls from InsuranceLine even though I told them during the first call I was not interested. But they try again on a different number (I promptly block each number they call from). I just can't fathom how a business thinks the best way to get new customers is to continually harass them with rude telemarketers?

My father passed away suddenly and he had a policy through InsuranceLine which was processed very quickly and we were able to give him the funeral he wanted and deserved, plus we could do it pretty quick. The people we spoke to on the phone were lovely and very caring. Everything went smoothly, no complications at all. Thank you so much for giving us less to stress about. I highly recommend InsuranceLine.

What our grandmother paid verse her claim payout was drastically different, she paid 3 times the amount of money she was entitled to upon death. Thought she was helping her family out. Disgraceful and immoral.

I am unsure of the problems encountered by some of the negative reviewers, however, I have had 2 funeral policies with InsuranceLine and on both occasions when I had to makes claims I was treated with respect and the claims dealt with very quickly. They asked for documentation to prove the claim, which I provided, and the money was in the account within 24 hours. On both occasions. There was no stalling or asking for more information just good service.

Received 2 calls in the last week from this company, went along with the first one, starting out with the standard questions ("Have you considered insurance x, y or z?") but when i said i have considered and I'm not interested, the follow up question was "Have you ever had to plan a funeral?".

This is a pathetic marketing attempt and one which could cause people serious anguish if they have recently lost a loved one, I implore everyone to stay away from this company.

Get it in your heads Insuranceline, only scammers ring people up now days!. The phone call I over heard you people had with my brother sounded way too much like a scam call and omg didn't it cause some temper in our house and when I phoned to complain..... The government does NOT force companies to phone people!!!! I'm glad I dont have a policy with Insuranceline and I NEVER EVER WILL!!!!! Poor poor poor
