I ordered an item on March 10, they charged my credit card almost immediately then I had to write an email 8 days laetr to ask about shipping. They apologied for the delay and promised to be shipped accelerated by 2-day service. After another week I called asking what is going on. They said it's not yet shipped, but will be "today". It wasn't. However I received this item on March 31st.
I wanted to share my experience to let everybody know what to expect from iSellSurplus.com. Unfortunately I didn't read any reviews about this store before my order.

During the 21 days it took to finally receive this order, I emailed them 3 times and spoke with them on the phone twice. I finally received the item only after giving them a final deadline before I would file an Internet Fraud report on them. I finally received the item 21 days after placing the order. I don't know if they are overwhelmed, or sloppy, or just sleazy, but I will not order from them again.

After all the negative reviews I was leery of placing an order but they offered a great price on MediaCenter 2005 OEM so I pulled the trigger on the 19th. After three days without an order update I emailed to inquire about my order. An email reply was received within a few hours and a shipping confirmation arrived shortly there after. After another week of waiting I emailed again to ask about my order and a reply was received quickly. A few days later my order came in.

I am pleased with the price of the product and the prompt replies to my inquiries. I think that I will probably give them a second shot in the future.

I'll second the votes for horrendous shipping. I just received shipping notification after 19 days. Wow! Don't wear yourselves out, Isellsurplus.com! Good thing I didn't need to use these parts in this century. I am hopeful that I'll get the right order. But, that might be too much to ask since they had to rush the shipment out like they did.

This is my first time ordering from this company.It has been truly one of the best merchants to deal with!I think they deserve a better than excellent rating. First off i bought 3 cpu cooling fans with heat sinks for a amd xp 3000+ at a what i concider a really reasonable price of $4.00 each. plus a 450 watt power supply for $10.00 and also i bought some phone lines total shipping was $2.99 then the next day i received email with same cpu heatsinks for $2.99 i used there pretty neat service called live live help. and i asked for cheaper price on the cpu fans and was quickly reambursed for the money.the only downfall of the whole deal was the waiting i had to do on ups delivering. but then again if you want it quicker pay lil more i guess. also .before i bought i came to this site with wanting info on this company at the time there was one good review .after i bought there was another review that wasnt happy with this company before i added this review one of the reviews were gone hmmmmm strange. i checked out this companys review on bizrate and was amazed how good they were rated on there that site made me confident in buying from them plus there ebay sales rating. thanks jay

Four days after placing my first order it still hadn't shipped. They can't change an order so I had to cancel to add additional items. The website said everything was in stock, but it wasn't. Two weeks later I received my order. I ordered five items; One item was missing and one was a knock off brand instead of the Intel part I ordered. My emails to customer support were answered at first by "Joann" (actual employee) then they went unanswered. I had to hunt down their phone # and was able to straighten the mess out. The people I spoke to were quite nice. They made good on the items but it took about 3 weeks from the original purchase date and a lot of aggravation. I have since ordered from several other computer discount type online stores and it's usually 3 days max from the time I order until it arrives. I Sell Surplus...it would have to be a killer deal to get me to order again.

The good news: Great Prices...
The Bad news: Charged paypal in full 1 week before shipping a partial order. Said shipped UPS but shipped USPS. Poor customer support.

As the two others below, I bought over $600 worth of RAM from them and it never arrived, and they are not answering my emails (even though server receipts show they are being successfully delivered and a couple of read receipts have come my way too).

Gone to Arizona and Nevada AG's office as well as BBB....will be talking to my attorney Monday.

Site says order shipped in 24/48 hours. Ordered on 11/14/04. By 11/21 order still had not shipped. I emailed them and asked that order be cancelled, but I recieved no response. I called on 11/22 and asked the status of the order. I was told that it had shipped on 11/18. I called again on 11/23 and asked for order status. Glen told me that the order had not shipped because one item had not arrived. I requested the order be cancelled for the second time. These folks are dishonest or inept. You choose. My first and last purchase with them. At least Glen told me the truth.

The few dollars I would have saved have not been worth the run around.

If my credit card has not been adjusted within the next 48 hours, I will report them to the BBB and appropriate authorities.

Followup: Called again on 11/26 and this time I'm told that my order shipped on 11/19.

Funny, after sitting in "approved" status for days and days, the order magically moved to "shipped" status after I posted this review. I was assured that I would be called and given a tracking # in a couple of hours. Still waiting 9 hours later. Still no call. Still no tracking #.

I have disputed the charge with my cc company.

Wanna bet that I'll hear from them now ?

I bought a firewire cable on their web site, which says they have >500 of them. They got the PayPal payment on the same day.
Today May 24, 2005. No response to my emails, no answer to my phone calls and no explanation.

I did have a purchase before. I suggest don't bet your money on them being honest.

Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note: As soon as I dispute with PayPal they sent a notice they shipped the item. and I received it. What a way to go to get your stuff you paid for. Not ever again I will buy nothing from them

I ordered memory from this store on the 9th of December, their web site showed that it was in stock and should have shipped witing 24 to 48 hours of the order. I waited several days and then called to see what the problem was, they said it would ship that day. It didn't happen, I called again, same story, "it will ship today". This wnet on until the 13th of Jan 2006. I called the manager on or about the 27th of Dec and he told me it would ship that day or the next for sure and didn't happen, I then called on the 13th of Jan and told him to cancel the order, and refund my money, which he did.

Wednesday, January 25, 2006, I sent an email Stating (I have logged on to my (I-Account Log On) and it has stated for several days:

I won't deal with this company again.
Checked resellerratings.com to see if my experience may have been unique, but after reading other reviews I can see that it is not. Good luck to all of you in getting your product, or your money back. Myself I don’t want them to make another penny at my expense. I want my dam hard earn money back.

Now over 3 weeks since I placed my order. Very quick to charge my credit card; very slow to ship my order. Still no tracking number or indication that my order shipped. This is the second time that this has happened, and probably the last.

Placed an order on 11/6. My credit card was charged 11/7. I waited two weeks and my order was never shipped. I emailed them asking why my credit card was charged if they had not shipped my order. They responded by cancelling my order and crediting my card. I don't trust any company that will charge your CC prior to shipping... this is a perfect example why.

I received the memory and head set but no video cards or invoice in package. I e-mailed that i did not received the cards or any invoice. I received a e-mail back stating that i should have gotten a back order slip and i would receive the cards when they were back in stock. I have not received any thing or have gotten any reply to e-mail since. I have just sent a e-mail and hard copy to them explaining my displeasure with them and stating i would not purchase again and will not recommend them to friends.

It has been 10 days since placing the order, but no word on shipping, nor confiration that it has been shipped. Hopefully, this is due to the holiday season, and perhaps warehousing stocking levels... we shall see.

ordered end of oct, 2005, received some end of nov. Never got PC, called in Jan, said they'd ship. Haven't. Phone not answering, no answers to email. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!

It's been 19 days since I've ordered and all I have is a charge on my credit card.

They haven't shipped my order as far as I can tell and they don't reply to email requests about the order.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER from them.

I paid for UPS shipping and it was sent USPS. All was ok though and I got the products that I asked for. I emailed them and got no response. Also, $8 for shipping a CD is WAY over priced for shipping....
