When i saw that the Huckabee show was sponsored by Lear, that gave me the first clue. When i received the packet of information from Lear, i was very interested in pursuing more about precious metals. When i spoke for the first time with Aaron Boston, that was my second clue. He was willing to spend time, explain things fully, and there was no pressure. My first thoughts at trying to diversify some of my retirement money with precious metals was unnerving, but all that was laid to rest after dealing with Lear Capital. WE TALKED ABOUT VARIOUS PRECIOUS METAL’S , THEY PASSED ME AROUND TO VARIOUS REP’S . ONE REP ASKED WHAT ARE YOU TRING TO I SAID PRESERVE WHAT I HAD. THIRTY YEAR’S OF SAVING FOR MY RETIREMENT $897,000.00 BUCK’S.
THEY SUGGESTED SETTING ME UP WITH A SDIRA ACCOUNT INVOLVING 2016 1AND 1/2 OZ SILVER CANADIAN SNOW FALCON’S AND 2016 1/4 OZ GOLD CANADIAN SNOW FALCON BULLION COIN.
I WAS EXPECTING A REASONABLE COMMISSION , WHAT THEY DID WAS TAKE 33% OF MY 897,000 .00. I CHECKED THEY SAID I AUTHORIZED. I WOULD NOT HAVE AUTHORIZED THIS
THE COIN’S THEY SOLD ME ARE BULLION COIN’S.
I FOUND THAT LEAR CAPITAL HAVE MANY COMPLAINT’S AGAINST THEM THAT SOUND LIKE MINE. THEY SAID THEY RECORDED MY AUTHORIZATION. I LISTENED TO IT, I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN, I WOULD NOT HAVE AUTHORIZED 33% , I HEARD 3% . THEY SAID I SIGNED THE SHIPPING AGREEMENT. I INVESTIGATED THIS AND FOUND THE TERM’S WERE ON THE SHIPPING AND PURCHASE AGREEMENT, IN VERY LITE LETTERING ALMOST THE SAME COLOR OF THE PAPER IT WAS PRINTED ON. WHAT IT SAID WAS WERE KEEPING 33% OF MY SAVING’S , THAT THE MARKET WOULD HAVE TO GO UP 49% FOR ME TO BREAK EVEN.
I HAVE TALKED TO NUMEROUS SILVER & GOLD COIN DEALER’S AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE HEARD OF BUSINESS DEALING’S WITH LEAR CAPITAL AND THEY WERE NOT GOOD EVEN FRAUDULENT AND EVEN CRIMINAL.
MOST OF THE COMPLAINT’S I READ SEEM TO DEAL WITH SENIOR CITIZEN’S, MAKING IT EASIER TO DEFRAUD THEM OUT OF THEIR RETIREMENT SAVING’S.
LEAR CAPITAL ALSO SAID IF I WAIT 3 TO 5 YEAR’S , AND IF THE METAL’S MARKET WAS TO GO UP(AND NOBODY KNOW’S THAT)I MIGHT RECOUP MY LOSSE’S OR MAKE MORE, THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANTED . I CAN’T SLEEP AT NIGHT, WHAT PERSON IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD AGREE TO THE LOSS OF $300,000 THOUSAND DOLLAR’S. SOME HOW THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THIS . LEAR CAPITAL ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE WAY THEY REPORT TO IRS HAS CHANGED. I DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT.
THIS IS SO UNREASONABLE AND HAS CHANGED THE WAY I HAD MY RETIREMENT PLANNED.
I AM AN HONEST PERSON AND I EXPECT HONESTY OUT OR THE BUSINESS I DEAL WITH. LEAR CAPITAL SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCESS TO SENIOR CITIZEN’S RETIREMENT ACCOUNT’S. LEAR CAPITAL STOLD 1/3 OF MY LIFE SAVING’S.
I CALLED THE ROYAL CANADIAN MINT TO FIND OUT HOW MANY OF THESE COIN’S WERE MINTED, AND THEY ARE BULLION COIN’S, NOT NUMISMATIC, COLLECTOR OR RARE COIN’S.
ON THE INTERNET FBI WEBSITE , I READ .ELDER FRAUD AIMED AT SENIOR CITIZEN’S IS A BIG PROBLEM AND OUR JUSTICE DEPARTMENT WAS TAKING ACTION AGAINST THOSE THAT VICTIMIZE SENIOR CITIZEN’S. IS’NT THIS FRAUD ?
I’M 2 YEAR’S INTO THIS AND LEAR CAPITAL WANT’S ME TO TRADE ALL MY SILVER INTO GOLD BECAUSE SILVER WASN’T PERFORMING WELL. LEAR CAPITAL IS NOT AN HONEST BUSINESS .

I have been using Lear Capital for six months now to buy a few coins. They have been a great company to work with! I even had an order not go through all the way three months ago. They contacted me and got my order corrected right away. Amazing customer service and the product always looks great when it arrives!

First Time investing in Metals, so I was a little hesitant at first. Made
the purchase and things went well so far.

We are just becoming acquainted with the nuances of investing in Precious Metals, and we have been happy with Lear's customer service so far - especially Kelly Waugh's efforts to provide us with the education we need to stay well informed.

Some years back I had a substantial market-based IRA. I frequently would worry about a market crash that might decimate my holdings. At the suggestion of some financial "experts", I decided to diversify and roll over a large portion of the IRA into precious metals so I contacted Lear Capital. Advisors at Lear recommended my best option was to purchase Arctic Fox coins, which I did. The value of the coins subsequently diminished greatly. Recently I was contacted by Terry ____, a senior account executive, and he informed me that my silver was in serious jeopardy and that I should exchange for gold. I foolishly went along with his proposed exchange. Thanks to Terry, Lear Capital, and my gullible nature, I no longer have to fear my holdings WILL be decimated....they have been decimated!!!!!!!

To begin, when you purchase with Lear they do not tell you that they sell you bullion at 33% over it's actual value so you're paying $1.33 for $1.00 value. In layman's terms I would call that a commission of 1/3. Had that been clearly stated upfront I never would have invested with Lear.
I invested over 6 figures in gold in 2015 and 2016. I told my designated account executive, that I believe in gold as a hedge which is why I invested two years in a row. The second year was done through my husband's IRA account so the proceeds had to be held by Brinks through Strata Trust Company. The Lear representative explained that precious metals should be held for at least 3 to 5 years which was fine with me since I had no intention of selling anyway. Throughout this time period my rep had always responded to my phone calls and emails. By May of 2018, he was no longer returning my phone calls or emails which I found very disturbing. To this day I have not heard from him.
Around June of 2018 a representative from Lear, whom I had never had any prior conversations or dealings with, called my husband and told him that his IRA account was down to half of the original investment and that he believed that he could bring it back by trading gold for platinum. He never said that he was going to trade 99% but instead gave my husband the NUMBER of Gold and Silver Falcons he would trade for Platinum. My husband had never dealt with Lear so he had no idea how many coins were held in the account. What he heard was that our account was suffering a significant loss and that this guy was going to bring it back up again so he agreed to the change, not understanding what he was agreeing to. Had the rep stated that he planned on transferring 99% of the account from gold to platinum my husband, knowing how i have always believed in gold, would have said he had to speak with me FIRST.
Why this stranger called after only 18 months from purchase date and spoke with my husband and not suggested bringing me into the conversation, I can only believe was to scam us. My husband's IRA investment with Lear is now down to 1/3 of what I originally invested!
Lear states IN WRITING that an investment made in precious metals should be held for 3 to 5 years before making any changes. They also state that their client's best interest is their priority. Don't believe it and don't trust them!
Since I made this post Lear Capital has contacted me and is working on negotiating a settlement. I shall advise when and if a fair settlement is reached.

We found that this business has an active Facebook page with 9911 followers. From our experience this can indicate that the business is trustworthy and popular among people. We have discovered that this business has SSL (secure sockets layer), which means that this business handles your data, such as personal information or credit card details, with secure connection. We found that the domain for this business is older than two years which could be an indication that this is a trustworthy business with an established customer base and experience in their field.
