I had a problem with my Lowrance Elite 7Ti sent an email to Lowrance U.S. head office, got a reply from technician next day who advised me to send unit to a Navico UK service centre which I did, got a reply two days later to say problem was now fixed and unit returned to me - No Charges !! What a brilliant service this is, this is the way it should be done - well done Lowrance and Navico !!

I purchased a lawrance hook2 7 within 7 months it failed. Lawrance had me return the unit. Lawrance did not pay gor shipping
After taling with supervisor he gave me a additional 6 month warranty for the trouble. I purchased a mounting bracket when arrived it was too small
Asked to return and again Lawrance does not pay for return shipping. Horrible customer service.

I bought a used boat with a HDS 12 Gen 3 and two transducers. Try as I might I could not get the unit to provide any sonar information or structure scans. I tried all the tricks: purging data, disconnnecting/reconnecting plugs, software updates, soft reset, hard reset, etc. Nothing worked, so I finally thought I would give Lowrance customer service a try.

Having not been the original customer that bought the unit, I was skeptical that they would even talk to me. I had to wait a long time on hold due to call volume, but I was very pleased when I got an actual human on the phone. She was easy to understand, knowledgeable about the product, and very helpful.

When she could not resolve my problem she escalated me to a specialist. He was likewise unable to fix the issue over the phone and suggested that my head unit might have a processor problem that would require sending it in. "This is the point where they tell me I have no support and must buy a new unit," I thought.

But I was wrong. He was able to look up the original shipping date of my unit and determined that it had shipped almost 3 years prior. Had I been within the 2 year window replacement would have been free. However, even outside of that window up to 5 years I was able to get an "upgrade" at a prorated price. So, for about $1200, I was able to get a brand new HDS 12 Carbon. I could have opted for the same unit I had, but it would have only saved $100.

Was it free? The support was, but replacement was not. Was it good? Absolutely! So many companies would not have even taken the time on the phone, let alone offered a discounted replacement solution. I will definitely consider Lowrance the next time I need a hardware upgrade.

I bought a hook 5 worked for the first few trips then stopped working. Call in told them about it, they ran me through is it the battery is it wired correctly got this for about an hour. This isn't my first fish finder I have fished for my whole life. They said they would send a box to ship it to headquarter for inspection. Never got a box never heard back from them. The whole thing was a joke I am still so mad about the whole thing I don't have anther 400 bucks to put into a fish finder and I'm not going down quietly!!

I purchased the Lowrance Hook2 7x with Tripleshot Transducer for my boat Took the boat in water it showed depth readings at around 20 feet . Thought it will work as advertised at greater depths and fitted the transducer using a Shield under the boat. Took the boat deeper and the unit stayed put at around 20 feet. And then when the boat went deeper at over 100 feet the depth readings stopped altogether. The depth showed "--" for a reading. The depth alram showed 100 feet though. But no sonar display , no fish id depth reading etc. This unit is not even tested and if one searches for Youtube videos showing tutorials for Lowrance Fish finders they are all done at depths of 10-20 feet. Not even a single video of Lowrance Fish Finders especially this Lowrance Hook2 7x in greater depths like 100 feet or 150 feet or even the 500 feet which is the max although the Unit itself has a capacity of 300 meters which is like asking for too much from Lowrance Devices. The tech guys refuse to share any such video of testing at greater depths and yet insist that Lowrance will work at 500 feet. And we customers have to agree to what the tech guy says although there is no evidence to support this. Wonder how Lowrance continues to sell its unit . Is it because most of its customers use it under 20 feet of water. Because if people start using it beyond 20 or 30 feet of water they would have to recall all their units.

I recently purchased my second total scan transducer mount for the transom of my boat. This transducer mount has broken and now two of them have broken in the last five fishing outings. The plastic mount that Lowrance is producing simply doesn’t work, they need to make a metal mount for the transducer. Not to mention when the first mount broke to poor quality and the transducer flew out of the air and scratched the side of my motor.

I was wanting to buy 2 units (9 and 7) but after reading these reviews I am having second thoughts about my purchases because of the poor customer service,this is to much money to risk on poor service

I ordered a transducer for my Gen 1 HDS10. I originally had the 6in Side imaging Down imaging transducer but it cracked on my boat. I ordered the new one thinking it was the replacement for the original. It is a lot longer than the original. Then when I got it I was afraid to install it myself into the fiberglass, but the sonar cable end wouldn't connect to my HDS10. So I looked up a 9 pin to 7 pin adapter cable on your site and ordered that too. The cable that shipped to me is a 9 pin to 5 pin jumper cable. That is not what I ordered. I would like to talk to someone about these products and need the correct equipment sent to me. Please help me with this situation. I want to return these products with a refund and hopefully get the correct original transducer sent to me.

Aaawwweeesssooommmeee customer service my package arrived yesterday and even FedEx said it would be here today but it got here a day ahead of time the only problem being I paid 200 dollars for it including shipping but I'm going to have to pay that much again to have it installed because I'm no techy and am not good installing electronics and to make sure I don't screw it up I would rather pay to get it done right then to try and do it myself plus I don't have the patience either and another problem being I will have to wait till fall timeframe to get it done because it's peak boating season and the wait is at least 3 weeks can't wait that long and be without my boat so I'll just use the one I got until then thank you for the support????

The part arrived in good condition and it was exactly as depicted however I gave grown a custom to Amazon two day shipping and to place an order with you and receive it 8 to 10 days later gets two stars.

Only give one star because it wouldnt let me give a 0 stars or negative stars. If I had to rate them I could honestly say negative 5 stars. So I bought a lowrance hook 7xhdi when I bought my pontoon boat april of 2018. The piece of crap never worked properly. I have been trying to get it to work since new. All tech support would do is tell me to mail it in and let them look at it. Said they would repair it at my cost and I had to pay shipping there and back. Said if it was a defected unit that they would replace it with same unit for only a 50 dollar discount. So I'd still be spending more than for a new one. And told me they needed a credit card on file to bill services. 10 minutes later my credit cards been charged 280.00 without them even receiving the unit. I do not recommend no one get tied up in there s*^t show...

Hook 27x triple shot crapped out after a year of use. On warranty because it’s past the one year. Don’t waste your money on any”x” hook products, they all seem to have issues with losing bottom.

I bought through BPS in Jan 2019. The unit worked okay for a little over a year (just out of warranty), although I found it hard to use on the water. Nav buttons are clunky and not intuitive. Yesterday the the sonar, down scan, and side scan all just stopped working. Just noise on the depth screens, and the screens stopped scrolling but GPS and nav map still worked. I tried the resets on you tube. Nothing. I waited on tech support hold for over an hour with no response. I also have a Garmin Echomap 93sv on the front of the boat, with separate transducer. Definitely much better gear. Works great, easy to use, No more Lowrance products for me.
