Terrible customer care and service. Do not entrust your valuable watch with this company. They talk the game but when it comes to delivering the service they fall well short

So pleased I went with luxury watch for my omega battery, will not be going anywhere else from now on. Used the postal option to send my watch in, very professional and secure, felt my watch was in the best hands possible :)

LWR took on the challenge of servicing my 1970’s my Omega ‘Constellation’ Megaquartz 32khz.
I sent the watch off via their insured postal service at the end of November 2019. I received the watch back today, almost four months to the day, March 2020. Part of the Service process involved sending the watch down to the Southampton Service Centre for a specialised quote to be prepared, which contributed to the time delay. The quote I eventually received I thought reasonable, considering the age of the watch, nearly 50 years old.
Was the wait worth it ? Definitely. Would I use LWR again ? Certainly. Just ensure your spare watch(s) are up and running before you send your watch off for Service - it could take longer than you thought !

Would give zero out of 5 if possible!
Prior to posting the fault was diagnosed by a jeweller who could not source the part.
Posted watch to be examined with a note specifying clearly that I only wanted a quote for a repair.
Was eventually quoted for a service more than the watch cost or that it would cost to buy another watch despite stating I did not want a service!
Requested a quote for a repair and this company asked me to diagnose the fault for them!
Sent numerous messages declining the quote.
Rang to arrange to have the watch returned- no answer or voicemail facility.
I have lost all confidence in this company and would would not trust them.
To say they are shambles would be an insult to shambolic companies.

Message to company;
I am aware you read these reviews, do not bother replying to me on here.
I have asked you to contact me numerous times. You have my contact details if you can be bothered getting in touch.

Response to reply from luxury watch repaires:

Your reply contradicts the facts in this case and I have written correspondence from your colleagues to back this up.
A very poor attempt to try and save face.
You have my reference number and contact details.
I have attempted to request a return of my watch and to pay for carriage.
This was after you failed to answer my request as to whether you were able to carry out a basic repair without a service.
You have only now got in touch because you have been called out in public for your appalling customer service.
Perhaps you should be more professional and correspond directly with customers in the first instance rather than using a public forum to try and save face after failing to do so.

My initial good impression of this business from their website and 5 star ratings gave me the confidence to send my 25 year old Breitling for a repair, service and polish. That was in January 2020 and cost me over £700 paid in full with the order. It is now June and I have yet to receive my watch or any response to my emails chasing progress. I have sought contact through their general email, management and customer services and no reply other than the computer generated ones. Accepted COVID has impacted on service delivery but I am frustrated to have no communication, answers or anything when, clearly they are still accepting new customers.

Warning to others out there that whilst the reviews suggest that they are good - mostly this appears to be for changing batteries; my experience with my precious timepiece is the opposite. There is also a large number of ratings that they have reported to remove from this site.. I wonder if they just don't like hearing the truth from other customers they have disappointed like me?

Very happy with the service I recieved from this company ,I was impressed with the security and safety with which my watch was treated ,I now have it back with a new battery at a very reasonable price

I sent my 20 year old Omega Seamaster 300m for a service.

Although this took a little longer than I had anticipated, Luxury Watxh Repairs were very good and keeping me up to date with the progress and the ongoing work.

Once my watch had been returned I was very happy with the work. It looks fantastic, cleaned and polished as well as several new parts. It is keeping time perfectly (which is was not doing before its service).

Overall excellent service.

From conception to completion my experience with Luxury Watch Repairs was seamlessly first class, after receiving the postage pack, "nice touch by the way" which I requested in December things stalled for a while as I didn't want to put my watch in the Christmas post.
But come January things were soon back on track, received the quote, ouch that nipped a tad, but was expected and from there on in I was kept up to date with regular emails detailing its progress through the system up to and including the final correspondence detailing its return, which occurred exactly as described.
The watch was contained in a substantial padded case, which when I opened I was delighted, to say it looked like a new watch isn't exaggerating. So keep up the good work and to paraphrase Arnold Schwarzenegger "I'll be back"

Took my Dad’s Omega watch to Bond Street they wanted £185 for a new battery. Went to Hatton Garden and was referred here. Cost £40+vat for a fast, friendly professional service. Would recommend it to anyone. Excellent.

Excellent service, my late Father’s Omega Seamaster watch had not been serviced for a long time (circa 30 years!) Had the watch serviced along with getting a new strap, which was sourced direct from Omega. The watch came back like new! Would recommend and will be using their services again.

My omega was over forty years old and several watch repairers weren't able to deal with it. I didn't expect it to be fixable. Working very nicely now. Very pleased with LWR
