Excellent! Sometimes a word is enough. Even so, I'll elaborate slightly. From start to finish, the people at New York Microscope Company were cordial, thorough and more than fair. Anyone who seeks to acquire--or perhaps to inquire about a privately owned microscope--should begin and end here. And looking at the countless items on this website is a pleasure and an education in itself.

Great company, They are a go to source especially for Bausch and Lomb scopes and parts. I have found hard to find Beck Kassel parts and I have had prompt and courteous service when I sent a scope in for addition of a vintage stage mounting.

I had trouble identifying the older microscope my husband purchased for me, and a friend recommend I get in touch with NY Microscope Company to see if they could help. After sending an emailed inquiry outside of normal business hours, there was a reply waiting for me when I accessed my email again. Fred K. was very helpful and had the answers.

This was the 1st time I used this company to purchase anything, It was a single Lens for my compound microscope I use to engrave metal. I needed it by weeks end, I bought from them because they were close, But they were out of stock and needed 1 from Calif. They called me right away knowing I needed it fast and made all the arrangements to insure it was at my shop when needed that morning, Tremendous Cust. Service. Will have all of my microscope and other Magnification needs taken care of by N.Y. Microscope Company.

Shopping with Fred, Carlvin, and the others at NYMC has always been an excellent experience. While my needs and experience revolve around ordering roughly the same set of products repeatedly, the approachability of the team and excellence of the experience has led me to continue to work with NYMC over 5+ years.

Fred Koenig was very helpful in sorting out issues with the manufacturer who had sent the wrong version of the item we ordered (wall mounted instead of mobile stand) and also when the manufacturer tried to hold us responsible for damage not caused by us. He was always very responsive and quick acting and represented your company excellently.

I have on blue color change garnet that has insects in it. It would be impractical for me to buy a microscope for just one stone. Just shipping alone would be ridiculous. This garnet is 6x4x3mm. I do not know what kind of microscope I would need but I am on disability which rules out any purchase. I wanted to rent some of your time. By sending you the stone New York Microscope would know what type of microscope to use to obtain j-pegs that could be sent to a paleo-entomologist and I would give New York Microscope the credit for the microscope used and the exceptional service provided. It was supposed to have a free gift of "household items" upon purchase. However, it never denoted that in the purchasing process so I have no idea if I will get the free gift or not. Disconcerting. Should be part of the "cart" if it is included. Update: Received a nice email from the company apologizing for a glitch in their cart screens. Everything turned out great! Would purchase from them again.

I'm an international customer (Canada). Fred went 'out of his way' on my behalf and sourced the 'correct' bulb for my microscope. It may seem like a small thing to do, but there have been multiple emails, and pictures going back and forth. I am not an institution, just a dad with a son who is 'super excited' about using our microscope yet Fred has given me service as though I was a huge company spending thousands of dollars. As an airline pilot I am profoundly aware of the importance of professionalism and customer service, Fred epitomizes both. Thank you SO much.

I went to New York Microscope company after I had a bad experience with another on line store. What a huge difference in customer service! The sold me a quality microscope. Answered all my questions without getting annoyed. I will highly recommend this company!

I was looking for a particular comparison microscope and found exactly what I needed. Moreover, I needed to get the quote submitted quickly (I was on a struct timeline) which was no problem. Service was great and everyone was very friendly.

After reaching out to customer service with lots of questions, I worked with Fred Koenig who was incredibly insightful and thorough in his email responses. Through this correspondence, he helped me to identify the highest quality microscope for my specific needs that fell within my conservative budget constraints. Fred was just wonderful, prompt, helpful and efficient in providing guidance on my antique Zeiss microscope. This is rare in today's business world. The salesman was very helpful in identifying microscopes that met my specific needs. The website included links to PDF's that helped me study the features of each microscope and the accessories. There was a broad selection of microscopes and I'm happy with my experience.

Fred went out of his way to help me discover the Model number of a 40 year old Meiji gem microscope. Above and beyond service is what brings in new customers and keeps old ones. The New York MICROSCOPE company is an example of this type of service.

So easy to use your site. I quickly found what I needed just by typing in the US Patent number of the microscope I own - very impressive! However, when I tried to call and email to get directions on returning my order (because I ordered the wrong bulb) I have yet to receive a call or a reply. I'm sure you are very busy and I did have a great experience ordering with you folks - placing the wrong order was my fault - I'd would like to see the return process go as smoothly as the ordering, but I get that you guys can't anticipate every customers oversight. All in all you guys are truly a great resource.

It was easy and helpful to speak with Fred on the phone. The online order form was straight-forward and self explanatory. Our microscope arrived on the expected day. It was packed securely and I was able to pay the delivery person for the import duty. All in all, I am very satisfied with the New York Microscope Company.
