I ordered the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens and B&W 77mm filter. The delivery was in very good condition and arrived exactly as scheduled. I felt like this seller was more trustworthy for me and everything came exactly as they promised. I could not wait for my NYC store to stock the Canon 70D. A rumor site mentioned that Norman Camera had stock I immediately went there. But I was a little skeptical. They had the same price as Amazon, B & H and Adorama. But I've never heard of them. Came here only to find mostly positive reviews. And those with negative reviews were addressed by Norman Camera. I was impressed and ordered it. It arrived today!! Sooner than expected!!

I ordered a Canon Lense from Norman's Camera on June 20th and received the package from them on June 22nd!! I was shocked considering the 5 state seperation between us. Unfortunately, they accidently shipped me the wrong item. I called them and they immediately shipped the correct item; I received this item on June 24! Over the last six years I have purchased over $20,000 of camera equipment form Norman Camera due to the level of service they provide. There is something to say about purchasing from a family run operation as opposed to purchasing from the big boys. Building a relationship with your camera salesman is something I would never trade in just to save a few bucks. Norman Camera has very competitive pricing and even on a few instances matched the big boys price making my decision to pick up the phone and call Norman Camera that much easier. All of my orders went out the same day and were received the following day as I live one state over from Norman. Every camera and lens I have received from Norman Camera has been brand new and unopened. My experience with other resellers prior to Norman Camera was much different in that periodically I had received lenses that had been obviously used but sold as new. Norman Camera has also contacted me by my request when a very hard to obtain lens came in stock. This is one of the perks of building a relationship with your salesman. When everyone else is sitting around waiting for their next desired lens, you have a better chance when your salesman is looking out for you. I give them a 5 star rating as I have never had a bad experience but only good experiences dealing with Norman Camera. I expect to have a relationship with Norman for many years to come.

I am a wedding photographer, and I have been buying cameras and camera equipment from Norman Camera for about 5 years. My experience with Norman Camera has always been excellent. In most cases when I ordered an in stock item before 4pm, I received the product the very next day. On only one occasion did it take two days to receive it. That is much better and faster service than I am often able to receive from local camera stores where I live. The sales persons I have dealt with have always been helpful and courteous, and have made sure that my orders were handled the same day of my order. What more could I ask for from a camera store?

I ordered a Sigma 17-70 K-mount lens from Norman Camera since they had one of the more competitive prices on said lens. Their website at time of purchase was not the most inspiring of confidence, but I went with them regardless since they had a high reseller rating on this site. I was completely satisfied as they shipped the product promptly, keeping me informed through email of the progress.

I would certainly purchase from them again, despite their being a smaller etailer.

At the beginning of April 2012, I ordered a D800 from B&H in NYC, but hadn't received it as of mid-July. On the Nikon Rumors website, I saw an add that Norman Camera had them in stock. I called right away and ordered one. I got it two days later exactly as promised. Since I had never heard of Norman Camera, I got nervous about a Grey Market Copy. When I called to confirm that it was a regular Nikon import, the clerk told me that they only sell photo equipment with regular US warranties. He added "this is Wisconsin, not New York!" By the way, the B&H clerk was happy that I had found a D800 elsewhere and cancelled my order without a problem. Norman Camera was a pleasant surprise and I'll definitely buy from them again.

I purchased an item that was mis advertised as working on Sony cameras. It did not work on mine (Sony A7ii) so I requested a return. First, I was told I would have to wait to see if Norman Camera would even approve my return (which I found insulting considering they were responsible for the mis advertising) but then they informed me they would not pay for the return shipping AND they would not accept it if I did not return it with insurance and a return receipt. These requirements cost me $15.05 (for a $95 item). Of course, I will not purchase anything from Norman Camera again, and I caution anyone, only purchase from them if you know for certain you will not need to return anything (or have to deal with customer service at all)!

I called Norman Camera late on a Wednesday afternoon looking for a specific camera that I was having trouble finding; they told me that had it in stock. I needed it by Friday for a Girl Scout camping trip. They processed my order immediately, and I had my camera Thursday morning. Very impressive! Thanks, Norman Camera!

Purchased a Canon 580 EX through ebay and utilized PayPal. The entire transaction went smooth and without any problems or concerns. Notification emails were prompt. No comment on customer service; mainly because I didn't have to call them for anything. Product arrived when it was suppose to arrive, and exactly as they described it. No hidden cost/fees, no pushy salesman attempting to sell you extra accessories, or informing you that your product is now on back-order once you tell them you just want the product you ordered and nothing else. Weird, the way that works; isn't it..

It is a camera store that is run by photographers and has photographers on its sales staff. I have dealt with all of them and I will not buy any of my camera equipment from any place else.
