I have used Northern Gas for a number of years for boiler services and previously didn't have a problem. This time was different. Trying to get them to attend for a small non return valve repair was impossible. I called their customer services 10 times over 5 days to try and get them to come with their false promises of engineer visits and the he's on his way fiction. The last straw was another falsehood of he's only half an hour away and 1 hour later he still didn't turn up was it. Top tip for this company - If you can't or don't want to do a job be honest with the customer and tell them. We can and will go elsewhere. I have lost all confidence with Northern gas and will no longer be using them in future and certainly would no longer them. Something has obviously seriously gone wrong with this company. A real let down by all those at the end of the phone. Shameful.

I phoned Northern Gas and spoke to a very peasant girl called Sunita. She arranged for a gentleman called Kash to visit me and discuss my boiler requirements. He was very friendly, spent time advising me of the best boiler for me. He was very knowledgeable and I did not feel under any pressure to buy at all. As he did me a good deal, I went ahead and ordered a new top quality boiler, which did everything that he promised. The fitter that came to fit it was called Adam, he spent three days at my property fitting the boiler, he was friendly and hard working and I felt very comfortable with him in my home. He did a really good job and explained all about the working of the boiler after setting it up for me. I was really pleased with the service that I got from Northern Gas and would certainly recommend them

Kash came out to visit me and my wife to quote for a new boiler ,kash did us a good deal and the engineer done a Good job left the place clean & tidy ,all in all we are very pleased with the work done . We can confidently recommend northern gas and James Davis the engineer , thanks very much to all ! !

Had a new gas boiler fitted in June last year. Had a few problems with controls for heating. I have spoken to Cindy and then a few days later to Steven who helped me get my heating back on. How helpful they both were in getting me back up and running. Those two are a gods blessing

I would rate Northangas 7/10. They failed to fit my boiler on the first date and second but managed to complete it on the third date arranged. The sales agent also didn’t arrange the finance agreement and the office wanted payment straight away which was confusing. The wireless thermostat which was sold was good but the engineer had never fitted one before so I did it myself.

New system installed and old system removed only issue took 3 days not max 1.5 days to complete and had to clean up brick dust debris outside the house - Currently waiting for post-installation inspection - was supposed to be Friday afternoon waiting update? Also concern around agreed system service schedule as confirmed in contract doc signed pre-installation - wait review of doc and confirmation?

Absolutely terrible we had a boiler fitted, the engineer who did the after check tore big holes in my flooring, northern gas said they would cover the cost of new floor, after lots of emails and phone calls and 5 months later they stopped contact and now avoiding us, so no payment lady, trying to take it further often involved now, we are a venerable couple my partner is disabled, would never recommend northern gas

Avoid Northern Gas,what a terrible experience from beginning to end.Day one wrong boiler ordered,fitted December After short time half radiators not working,told to bleed radiators,did not work,did not come for weeks to sort it out,without heat over Christmas.Bad communication by staff including managers get phone call to say over run on previous job - car van broken down etc. They phone to make new appointment and then they phone to change it.I phoned the manager Mr Ali four days on the run,but no communication from him at all. :Do not do business with Northern Gas unless you want problems and stress.

4 days without heating & hot water, have to chase them up & when valiant come out the engineer finds a fault which should have been picked up on the northern gas service ( 5 weeks previously) which within a year would have caused damage which may have destroyed the only 5 year old boiler! Disgraceful service by northern gas

absolutely brilliant from start to finish, saw an add on line, made and enquiry had a lovely chat with a lady called Sunita, she got us fitted in for and appointment with Kash that week, Kash was fab, spent hours going through absolutely everything, there was no pressure at all, we got a brilliant deal, so happy we started the ball rolling that day, 2 weeks later Mohammed and Jay came to fit our panels, once again they were amazing, was kept in the loop all day, all the wiring and boxes look so tidy in the loft, they both really did a fantastic job, clean tidy and so respectful, Kash has also been in touch all the way through as well as Sunita , absolutely fantastic company and staff, cant recommend enough, Mr & Mrs Ganderton

I’m waiting now 5weeks to get refunded. Evertime when I call they play games with you. When it comes to payment suddenly all the managers are available to speak to you. When it comes to refund suddenly managers are in the meeting for the last 3 weeks or off sick. I need my money back!!! SCAM!!!

We had four quotes from different companies for solar panals but when Kash came out from Northern Gas he explained everything so well and gave us a very competitive quote, plus he sorted out getting the EPC redone with tips on how to improve the energy performance of the house. The installers came out on time, did a fab job and Kash made sure our application form was filled in and sent in on time for us to get the feed in tariff. He kept his word all the way through and it was pleasure to work with him. Fantastic service. Would definitely recommend.

I’m not one for leaving reviews usually can’t be bothered. However, I feel it’s right to share my positive experience I had with Northen Gas Heating Kash and Adam. Being on my own with 2 young daughters I feel quite vulnerable having work people in my home. However, with the boiler being 20 years plus old and clearly everything going to pot, I had to replace it. From 3 companies recommended Northern Gas met my requirements and clearly understood my needs. My experience was Kash was friendly, professional, informative, patient and respectful. I did much research (scarred of making incorrect decisions and desperate to make the right choice) no one else could match the Service and work Kash promised. (There was a lot required). Adam carried out and completed the work as promised with no problems. Adam was respectful to me and my home and just got on with the job. He left everything clean and tidy, was very professional. Since job finished everything seems great ?? If I do get any problems I will be back on here to tell.... but so far very impressed. Thank you Kash and Adam for our warm quiet home with lovely hot running water. ??????

They kept us Informed on when the installation of the boiler would be fitted and we're very prompt two engineers came and fitted the new boiler and explained how it all worked they had it all up and running in a day and took away the old boiler

I was a very sceptical customer to begin with, but I have to say that Northern Gas did an exceptional job thanks to the expertise of the fitter who fitted my new boiler whose work was superb.
