I was recently in Perth fixing up my house for rental and need to re-carpet the house before I left. I took my plans to Parry's Belmont and left 40 minutes later with carpet and an installation date. I didn't end up getting quotes from anywhere else as I was happy with the level of service I received at the Belmont store. My first dealing was with Baldy and I can't recommend him highly enough.

As I was working to a time frame, he ensured that the carpet was to be laid when I needed it to be. I had an issue with underlay at my house, I opted to leave the existing underlay down to help on cost, but when I pulled up the carpet it was as damaged as the carpet, so a quick phone call was made and underlay was included again at a nominal charge. On a couple of occasions I was not able to speak to Baldy direct, but my query was sorted just as efficiently by other sales staff at Belmont. Baldy however would return my call to make sure that everything was ok. I had to work to a budget with my carpet, however I feel that the carpet I did choose was good quality and has helped to make my rental look like a house to be lived in and not just a place to stay. Thanks to all at Parry's Belmont.

In my recent review Oct 03, 2015 I expressed my disappointment with the level of service received by Parry Carpets. Following my formal complaint I was contacted directly by their General Manager who apologised for the inconvenience caused and ensured me that the installation was occurring. Further on he contacted me on the day of installation to re-assure me again that this was actually going to happen. Although his attitude was defensive to start of with, Ian demonstrated a genuine concern and provided me with a positive experience. The installation of our carpet was done to a professional level and the carpet looks amazing. We could not be happier. Miscommunication and misunderstandings occur and this is acceptable when it is recognised and dealt with - and this is exactly was Ian did. Thank you Ian for your assistance and for ensuring that the installation and after care service was delivered to our satisfaction. :)

We purchased our carpet from sly salesman on the 14th of April 2017 with a promise of install 2 weeks later. After 2 weeks we received a call stating the carpet would be delayed 5 weeks. As you could imagine we were totally dissapointed as we would not have purchased the carpet from them knowing this. When we called to get a refund of our deposit we were told that they do not refund deposits and we would have to wait for the carpet or choose another colour. We then called consumer protection who advised us to write them an email requesting a refund so that statements were made in writing. We then spoke to customer service who then also told us our original quote of $3700 had increased to $4210 due to incorrect measurements 7 weeks after our purchase. This was a complete nightmare and by the end of it management granted a refund today the 9th of June 2017. Beware these people are dishonest and will lie to get a deal. You have been warned. Unfortunately we read many other negative reviews when it was all too late.

Third or fourth time returning to Parry’s in Belmont with Baldy and other staff. Over the past 20 years have been very satisfied with the service, price and products. Well done Parry’s!

I had my carpet installed on Thursday. I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to deal with [names removed] both face to face and over there Internet chat. The service was excellent and relaxed. The installers were polite and did a fantastic job. I would not hesitate to recommend both Parry's and the installers to my friends

Carpet was finally replaced after nearly 2 years, but they damaged 3 led lights on my theater step in the process. I was told that they would replace it as long as I wrote something positive on social media but there is no positives here as this should have never got to this point. I have other issues, areas that are coming apart where they are joined. I really don't think I will report it as it is too much hassle to have to argue about getting them to fix laying faults and asking them to pay for an electrician to fix my damaged lights. The carpet installed is the wrong carpet, same colour but of a poorer quality. I was advised that I was going down the wrong channels and that is why it was not replaced in the first place, however the lady I dealt with to finally have it replaced was the same person I dealt with previously.

Went to baldivis store with our original floor plans of our lounge, we asked the sales manager there if this was sufficient enough for him to get exact measurements of how much carpet we would need, he assured us yes and that it wasn't a problem at all?? He did not once even suggest that maybe they should send someone to our property to measure up just to be sure. We trusted he was competent so went ahead and chose our carpet and paid in full our $500. The carpet was to be pre-cut into 2 pieces. We picked our carpet up the following Wednesday. On the Following Saturday morning we proceeded to move out all of our furniture, prepare the floor laying underlay etc ..when we finally rolled out our new carpet it was cut the wrong size, being a good ft shorter than what we needed it to be

From the moment "Mrs C" and I stepped into Parry's Carpet Showroom in late August, to the laying of our carpets today, everything went really smoothly and without a hitch.
Our Salesperson was very helpful, and took the time show us lots of carpet in our price range, with measurements supplied by us, she quickly was able to come up with a quote.She also explained any requirements that we needed to meet,as we undertook to remove our old carpets ourselves, and the timeline of when the carpets could be laid.We opted to wait an extra four weeks, and the company were happy to store our goods for that period without any storage fees.
Yesterday we received a courtesy text, from the Company confirming the arrival time of the carpet layer, and today he arrived at the appointed time. His work was exceptional, and his attention to detail a joy to see, he also made suggestions on a couple of doors that need skimming.Once finished he also cleaned up afterwards,so nice to see a tradesman that takes such pride in his work.
It has been a joy to deal with Parry's Carpets, The Staff, The Carpets,The Prices ... Just Great !!!!
