Pinnacle Safety

I recently completed the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment through Pinnacle, I did the 10 days face-to-face with Helen Pentony
The volume of learning I received was above and beyond anything I could of expected. The course’s material and the training provided from Helen was extremely engaging and formed sequence for the major portfolio component perfectly, Helen and Pinnacle’s support was always available to myself.
I would recommend doing this particular course via Pinnacle Safety and Training to anyone wishing to become a Trainer and Assessor in their chosen field as they will not only receive learning about quality training but they will receive a massive volume of knowledge on assessment and compliance all rolled into a pleasant learning experience, particularly if they are lucky enough to be allocated Helen as their trainer.

Ian Flynn is very knowledgeable and did a great job of guiding us through the Cert IV Work Health and Safety course in five intensive days. Face to face learning works best for me, and it was very satisfying to walk away at the end of the week with the Certificate in hand.

If you need TAELLN411 before 1 April 2019, consider Pinnacle. Great online trainer (Zoe Chiveron) and assessor (Helen Pentony).
On the web page, it says 'Go at your own pace. Typical duration is 8 hours'. Go at your own pace is correct. Typical duration is 8 hours, not sure what it means. It may mean it takes 8 hours to read through the online materials. But while completing the assessments, you need to go back to the materials, read again and do resarch on the net for more information. Also there is turnaround time with the assessor, so unlikely you can have the statement of attainment in 8 hours !
Allow 2 months to achieve the statement of attainment after enrolment would be a realistic expectation.

The trainer was relaxed and confident with relevant and current industry knowledge, making it easy for us to learn and stay focused as all our questions were answered quickly and with relevant explanations. The trainer was professional and very easy to approach. The course was intense but our trainer was thorough and this helped make it manageable. The premises in Melbourne was clean and easily accessible with car parking just around the corner and cafes and good coffee close by. I am very happy I signed up for my course with Pinnacle!

I've recently Completed Cert IV WHS with trainer, Bob Cullum. He was very patient, knowledgeable and welcoming. The course itself was very informative and interesting. I would recommend this to others who are keen to improve their skills and awareness of WHS.

I found the knowledge of product and approach taken by the presenter to be exceptional in keeping everyone engaged. What could have been a boring topic, made more exciting by Keen.

I have done the TAE40116, the instructor (Helen) was very good and hands-on. Being myself new in the vocational sector, she provided invaluable support and advice during and extra class. In the last unit the other instructor (Mary-Ann) gave me sharp feedback on my presentation skills, which was quite important even that I had over 10 years experience in teaching. I managed to get a position less than a month after concluding the course, and the fact that it was done at Pinnacle positively counted at the interview. The employer knew who they were, the high-quality standard of the courses and the trainers.

Ian was very good at getting the message across and made the day interesting ,given that other courses I've been in are a yawn fest and the day went quick.

I had to contact Pinnacle more than Twenty times to ask about my certificate. There was a delay in grading assessment and tasks, even via email. Even directly email to trainer, I did not get instant reply. This was annoying.

The course fee I paid was not worth the whole experience (close to $3000). Pinnacle really did nothing to help after face-to-face class. I cannot see the value going anywhere. I really did not get my $3000 worth.

The admin and after hours service was Appalling. My first day, I got lost and could not contact Anyone to help me direct to the Port Melbourne venue. I got directed to some 2 useless teenage girls aka idiots all the way in Arizona who could not do jack apart from "we will leave a message" which I could've done my self. It was an infuriating first day. Also the office hour said they open at 7am and no one was there to answer my call at 7.30am. It was a joke.

The post course modules on the online learning program was absolutely appalling. The programming was abysmal, some of the tick boxes did not even work. My correct answers got marked wrong just because of stupid reasons such as I submitted day 9 task to the day 10 box. It was the most frustrating and time wasting online modules that really did not help any learning process, only adding to stress and anger. They should be ashamed for employing such incapable it programmers. I had to repeatedly contact my trainer to override the answers. Definitely the worst online module I've ever experienced.

They do not have specific consultation hours and more availability of all TAE trainers. It was difficult to get in touch with anyone from Pinnacle for support after the face-to-face classes were over. Obviously we will have questions after the face-to-face classes! Our teacher also trains somewhere else, which is their right to do so. But in their absence, there should be someone else (a TAE trainer) to help and available at all times. Most of the time we needed help immediately and the only answer was "we will get back to you" which really means nothing. And they never got back to me! I could not get help immediately at all.
unfortunately was a waste of money.
Would not recommend Pinnacle to anyone!!!
