I have only now started the course, but the support so far has been really good and the material is all up to date. I got the newest edition books sent to me and the staff from the Academy have been real helpful with answering all of my questions.

One of the tutors at one stage of the course was difficult to reach for feedback. Admin staff were prompt to respond and remedy issue. A minor hi up.

I would say the admin and support from the organisational team was excellent - I never had to wait longer than 24 hours for a reply to any queries or issues. The tutor support for the course was lacking, with poor quality feedback given for draft assignments, often copied and pasted feedback for multiple students.

The communication I have received from Professional Academy has been appalling - it took over 3 months for them to mark a module. I tried to point this out to them at the time and my feedback was completely ignored, along with several emails and phone calls. I would not use them again.

The textbook I was given for the module was not the one I needed to tackle the assignment - I had to buy it myself. The tutor sometimes took too long to reply; the powerpoint guidance for the assignment, which really helped me in all fairness, was only given to us about a month before the assignment was due when I had been working on it for a couple months already. Furthermore my tutor did not have a clue about the guidance that was provided in the PowerPoint as his feedback on my draft included things I was told I didn't have to address. He had no idea what this guidance even was.

Module was quite boring overall but the module handbook was quite good.

It has been 17 months since I enrolled and I have had contact once with a tutor at my request, no support or advice around getting everything done, considering I am doing this along side a full time job, I feel interaction should be much better and forthcoming.

I enrolled with Professional Academy to complete my CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing and I am satisfied with the experience I had.
Customer care of PA was responsive and friendly so that whatever the queries I had were answered instantly.
The refinery slides were very helpful but I wish they came with an audio narration or there were podcasts as well. I also wished that there was a live Q&A webinar prior to the submission of the assignments to clear the doubts.
I must give a BIG thank you to Miriam Berger - my tutor for the module Integrated Communications. She was helpful all throughout the time. She responded to my queries on time and her assignment feedback was a great guidance.I am so happy to say that I got a merit (68%).

I can't thank the team enough for all of their help over the last year - I really appreciate it. The team were always very helpful, friendly and speedy to reply! This qualification has helped me gain the skills I need to progress in my digital marketing career!

Only 4 and not 5 becuase I would like to see more cohesion between CIM and professional academy - log in to one central space for resources.
