I try to sent money to Brazil and the App says it was delivered, but my bank never received it. I cannot get in touch with
customer service.

I had tremendous respect for this company till date but unfortunately I have to rate them lowest today as one of the transaction i did with them was cancelled as there was error in reference number in transfer to their account. They were suppose to refund my money back within 10 working days but still they haven't done so and they are refusing to tell what's happening with that amount and amount is £3k plus...horrendous and unacceptable

My transact is very safe and very faster but the problem is the exchange rate is to low.

Terrible service 2 weeks waiting for a transfer which never happened and then another 2 weeks waiting for a refund. several banks prefer to not work with them and I was told this directly by my bank, 9/10 transactions are the same.

Referred a lot of friends but none of them got the $20 off the first transaction. I didn't gt the referral bonus either. Verrrrrryyyyyy much disappointed with their misleading information. Worst customer service experience

I sent the monies to Remitly on 23/04, got a message saying that the monies had arrived at the destination, but it didn’t. Due to Covid19 difficult to contact them. Managed to contact them, they were apologetic, but still monies not arrived. On 05/05, got a text saying the the info I provided was wrong and I should log in and amend, it was all ok nothing was wrong. Phoned them up and the told me that the monies had been sent an hour ago, but they’d cancel because info was wrong lol I couldn’t be bothered anymore. Lucky my son send a message thank me for his late birthday gift, 5 days later. Food for thought, I thk they are investing our monies before transfer it ....have heard it all before lol

Same as everybody else’s story rubbish service don’t recommend them the promised next day delivery and it’s 10 day.and just waisted another 25 minutes on their chat help.as soon i sent money from my debit card they said they need receivers ID i sent them receivers ID straightaway.after couple of days I tried to find out they that ID is in urdu that’s why it’s taking long Pakistani ID cards are in Urdu.i asked what can we do they said if you send any ID which is in English that will be quicker i sent them receivers passport copy in English then nothing happened.money been sent on28th of march and today is 6th of may nothing happening.useless customer service don’t know what they are doing.same answer money is being hold by our partners.i heard on tv about remitly and I thought let’s try this and save some time going to the shop but ended up taking stress and waisting time on their useless chat.i wish i could have read some of the comments here before i have seen some comments they are exactly same situation as mine.

It has been over a week and money still has not got there. What kind of company asks for official ID of recipient??? It is for the bank at the other end to verify ID of recipient before handing over cash. Official ID was provided on e same day the transfer was requested. However, money still not at destination and customer service just say they have escalated and yet nothing happening. They say cannot cancel or refund. So all I can do is wait without any idea if or money will be transferred even though it left my bank account over a week ago. Best to AVOID this company and use the likes of Transferwise instead.

Takes forever for the recipient to get the money

What can I say when it takes just 3 minutes to transfer money from one country to another 3 words come to mind..fast..efficient. .and on top of the remittance game...well done remitly uk...you got my business.

Remitly did fantastic. I even made a stupid mistake and left 1 letter out of name first name of who I was sending money my recipient of the funds text me and made me aware of the mistake and said I would need to call customer service. I immediately did that in a matter of minutes they had my mistake corrected in my recipient collected the funds

I don’t usually do reviews but this is an exception. Remitly is exactly what you need! It’s very convenient and the rate for the first timers is great! The transfer can happen in a couple of minutes and you’re all set! 5 starts!

First time using this app since I send money to Mexico 2 or 3 times per month. I only send a small amount to test the app and it did work great. My wife was able to have the money in her bank account in 10 minutes or less.

I will use this app again and hope to switch from WorldRemit App to Remitly and become an habitual user.

I thought you guys did a Great job , I had a Problem, that the money that I was sending to my Fiance' in Dominican Republic. It was because I did not give her Middle Name. So once I called Remitly back, that my Fiance ' was waiting there. They filled her Compleete name in , Caribe Express would give it to her in 30 minutes. Well, she waited 45 minutes, and called me she was still waiting , I called Remitly back and told them what was the problem. They called Caribe Express and she had it within 5 minutes. Sooo, you guys did a great job, and seeing it through the End. Pleased

My mum in law who is older had to drive all the way downtown cape town from where she lives to collect the monies. Your websites show Claremont and Wynberg as options, but she could not collect there:( The area was unsavory and she did not feel safe. Please consider more safe areas for money collections.
