I placed my order on 3/20/11 for a clearance North Face fleece jacket and got it on 3/25. I was hesitant because of the reviews, so I decided to pay through paypal just in case I had any issues. But no issues at all and I couldn't be happier with my experience!

I ordered a backpack on December 14th and paid for rush shipping and it didn't arrive until December 20th - after I'd left for an international trip.

I repeatedly called customer services representatives throughout the week of December 14th asking where the backpack was and the blame was entirely put on the US Postal Service. They are the third party involved, Rocky Mountain Trail is whom I ordered from and whom I was relying on for the product to arrive and that didn't happen.

I was left hunting through San Francisco for a backpack large enough to last me a month abroad, 18 hours before my flight. This not only was disastrous, but ended up being more expensive than the backpack I ordered through RMT.

They have issued a shipping refund, but that's it. To say I'm disappointed in the customer service provided by Rocky Mountain Trail is an understatement.

On 12 Jan 2011 I ordered a jacket from this website. It shipped the next day. I'm an active duty military member that is stationed over seas. The package was sent via USPS and was not tracked by this company. They said they do not track packages to FPO/APO addresses, which is where it was sent. They collected my $189, sent the package and I never received it. I've called them repeatedly and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which went nowhere. I was told that they won't refund my money until I send them back the jacket. I've never received it, and its been over a month since it shipped. I've looked online at multiple websites and have seen dozens of similar stories from other consumers about the same company. They all state the customer service departments refused to help them, and mentioned the same name multiple times. Patty, the Customer Service manager, which is who I dealt with and basically stated she can't and won't do anything. So, here I sit with no jacket and they have my money. I'm still trying to figure out how the BBB just closed the case. I was able to find the Vice presidents name and will attempt to contact him. Not really sure what else to do since I'm overseas which compounds the problem.

I too have been waiting nearly a month for my order. I ordered a northface jacket online, got the wrong color. sent it back 12/22, got a ups tracking number, they received it on 1/3, but when I call, they havent gotten to it yet! I will never ever order from this site again. this was suppose to be a xmas gift. this is ridiculous

I bought a winter coat for my father's bday from this online store. It turned out to be the most terrible online purchase i made. they claim it takes about 7 to 10 days to ship the order. however, 2 wks after i made the order, they still haven't shipped out the item. so i called them. the customer representative said it will take at least another wk for them to ship out the item. she was really rude throughout the conversation. it kinda amazed me that they are still in business...

Wanted to place phone order on weekend off hours. Sales rep asked me for my phone number via online chat and called a few seconds later. Courteous assistance. Order confirmed on Monday, package arrived UPS 3 day on Thursday as promised. Rockymountaintrail saved me a c-note on the same bag at retail. Would shop here again.

Spent an additional $11 for 3-day shipping. Ordered my pack on Friday, it shipped the following Tuesday for delivery "by end of this week early next week." That's not worth $11 and not 3 day shipping. Maybe they meant it would take them 3 days to ship it? I was counting on having it by Friday, which is why I paid the additional charge.

I ordered a pair of Smith sunglasses and received a call from them a few hours later to inform me that they only had one pair and the lenses were scratched. They offered to get me a new pair, but said it might take a few weeks, and also offered to sell me the scratched pair at a lower price. They said the scratches were very small but they did not want to send a pair of scratched sunglasses. I opted for the pair they had at a lower price and received them a few days later. The glasses appear to be in perfect condition, and the scratches so small I had to have someone else point them out to me. The fact that they even noticed the scratches themselves, or even checked, really says a lot about their level of service. I will defintely order from them again should they have a product I need.
