I purchased a marine air conditioning unit from the online site and was invoiced for the item and shipping. The shipping was $35. It is a reasonable shipping cost as the item weighs about 85lbs. Sails Marine contacts me the next day and asks for $160 for shipping. This is after I have received a copy of my invoice with the total including the $35 shipping fee. I had a quote done by UPS and they quoted $97.00 for shipping and this is with no discounts or having an account. I complained and suddenly the price is $140.00 for shipping as it has to go through their Trucking company. I'm not sure why it has to go through a company that I've never heard of at a higher rate? There were multiple providers for that AC unit but the Manufacturer has raised the price and I can no longer get a unit at a competitive price. I have tried to be accommodating and have the item shipped to my office which will save them money but believe they should honor their agreement as I have honored mine. If they have made a mistake in their shipping quote then I should not have to pay for their mistakes. So they don't make as much on the deal as they had hoped. That is a learning opportunity for the company.

I ordered a gps receiver from Sails Marine. It took 5days to ship but it was mailed USPS for a very reasonable rate. Face it even with the 5 day delay in shipping it still arrived sooner than an order I placed with Amazon that shipped Fedex Smartpost! I would definitley order from Sails Marine again as long as arrival was not high priority.

I ordered from sails marine at 9am on tuesday after thinking the price was too good to be true almost $50 less than the next cheapest on google also shipping for this thirty pound item was only $4 ups or $23 next day so I figured why not go next day then I got to thinking after I ordered I might have just got taken so I found this website which scared me even more I have to say I'm so impressed I can't believe it they delivered my tube the next day just as promised I never write reviews but had to just to set someones mind at ease the price and shipping was awesome and almost to good to be true I couldn't be happier

Purchased an airmar dst800 triducer that I was told was compatible with my garmin 740s. It shipped with a nmea 2000 connector and not the 6 -pin connection to the back of the garmin. I sent in a request for support and received an autoreply that my message was received. That was 4 days ago and still no answer. I now have spent another $80 on nmea2000 network just to get the triducer to work. More hours of aggravation than necessary but the owner of this website/company is in to take your money, not to support your love of boating. Buyer Beware.

It's been four days since I made the order and had my credit card billed for that order yet, the order sits unfilled. I emailed Sails Marine yesterday and asked why the order wasn't filled yet. I was told it would be done by 2pm (ET) today. Just checked and it's still not filled. Won't be ordering from this company any more and if the order is not filled tomorrow I will be calling the credit card company to void the transaction with Sails Marine.

I just received my Blue Sea order from Sails Marine and cannot be happier. International order took just 6 days to deliver. The company looks like a small yet effective team. I will be back to this store.
