TX Micro

This was the third order I made during my Christmas shopping.I THOUGHT there was an order problem but they CALLED me explained the order and cleared the non problem problem.THEY TOOK THE TIME TO CALL ME!!!Not only that but because I ordered during Xmas there was a FREE gift for ordering.WHO GIVES ANYTHING FREE ANYMORE??
I'nve got nothing but PRAISE for this company!!
How could ANYONE complain about such GREAT SERVICE???

I ordered 4 sticks of ram. 3 of the 4 i received did not work. You can tell by looking at the sticks of ram they are old and used. Total waste of time. Tried to save a couple bucks but got burned.

I have been a customer of TX Micro for years. They have great products with very competitive prices, wonderful customer service, and ship very fast. I've only had to return one product due to incompatability and it was a seamless process. I just logged in and assigned myself an RMA which took only a few seconds. I couldn't be more pleased!

First off, I just want to say how satisfying it is to type this dissatisfied note on the keyboard that I paid MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH AS ADVERTISED after the first keyboard did not work!

Look. This company is crap and has the worst return policies on the planet, so buyer beware. (they are also known as microgoodies.com) If you have something go bad, no matter what the price, they make you pay to ship it back to them. I know, I know "that don't sound unreasonable" ...but figure in this: The keyboard I purchased (only because of its low price) was $11.88 + shipping (of about $6). The keyboard was DOA (don't they test this crap?). I called the company and told them I wanted a new keyboard *at their expense* and I was directed to "[email protected]". There are 8 "must do" steps to return the item, with #2 on the list being "Make sure the *serial number* has not been removed". This is fantastic considering THE FLIPPIN' SERIAL NUMBER AND PART NUMBER ARE INKED OUT ON THE BACK!!! FYI...this company claims this is an OEM item (OEM meaning *new* but without software or manual). I found a bright light and managed to get the numbers from under the ink. Best of all, they refuse to pay for shipping the bad item back to them, but will pay to send the new one back to you (how noble)...oh, and you have 7 days from when you get the "8-step" email to get it back to them "OR THE RMA WILL BE VOIDED". (you wish)

Well, I got the email on a Tuesday, got everything packed up and copied out with the exact stuff needed within a few days. The post office would only guarantee the delivery by the next Tuesday with priority mail. It cost me $9.98 to send the bad keyboard back. So now, this lovely keyboard, that started at $11.88 + $6 shipping is now up to $27.86 (btw...that let me use the special calculator button on the keyboard...trying to get my money's worth here). So, in short, I could have gotten a better keyboard for the money from a different online store.

I will never buy from this company ever again. Keep in mind, they WANT you to buy the bad items and not return them because you realize you will have to pay twice as much for them. That is why they sell the $1 and $0.50 items...so they can pawn off the stuff that don't work or is returned, and you won't pay shipping to send it back. Its a scam folks...don't fall for it!

Hey TXMICRO, screw your return policy! See what great things happen when you don't take care of your customers? Told you I wouldn't pay for the shipping back to you...it looks like your company will be paying for it after all...in bad reviews. I'll be sure to tell everyone I know how I was treated by your crappy store.

I sent a note back to TXMICRO about the post I did here on resellerratings.com. They were very professional about the comments and after an email conversation about return policies and customer service, they have credited back the $9.98 return shipping on the DOA item! Thanks, TXMICRO...it shows you do appreciate your customers and I applaud you for that. BTW, I have also cleaned up my original post per resellerratings.com's request. I have changed my rating from "dissatisfied" to "satisfied"!

Addressing the comment made in the statement above about my posting: Of course I contacted the company (Immediately!)...I won't settle for terrible customer service and warped return policies...I simply won't deal with them anymore, and I'll let all my (computer) friends know how I was treated. And YES it made me angry (please read my post again closely), but the company came back and did the right thing AFTER several emails and convincing that they were not being fair over a few weeks time, so I changed my rating. After reading YOUR review, I thought "Why would this person be willing to live with an unfair policy??". I would hope you wouldn't. BTW...how do you know I'm a "he"?? (Hmmmm...) Good luck with your future purchases at TxMicro.

I bought 3 Main boards from this company. AsRock K7VT2. Two are bad. One can't find the Hdd {IDE Controller dead. The second can't set the CPU properly. Only one worked. Trying to get an RMA is a wild goose chase. Never again. This site is bad news.On a 1 - 10 _ would give them a "0" I am very unhappy with TX Micro. Pay a few dollars more and buy from some more reputable. They do not answer my email when I request help.

I ordered two Dell optiplex refurbished machines with operationg system installed. The shipping was on time and free.
The computers were in good shape and packaged well. I had an issue with the print spooler stopping on both machines. I called the company and explained the problem, service tech then walked me thru the solution on the first machine and then emailed a complete discussion of the solution for the second machine. I could not ask for better service. 5 out of 5 stars for this company. I will save this companies name for future purchases.

I bought 4x kingston 1GB 533mhz RAM sticks; They were packaged fairly well although not in their original packaging. One of the sticks didn't work so I put in a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and the website said I'd be able to get 85% of the price I paid back minus the shipping. The RAM was listed as "NEW" online; For these items to not be in their original packaging, I would have expected them to, at least, be tested. They later sent me an email with instructions on how to return the stick to them, and told me I'd only be able to get in-store credit. I decided I would mail it back, I'm not really sure why I decided to because it cost me as much as I would've gotten in in-store credit to mail it back. I think it was more out of anger than reason. Sometime after this I recieved a full refund that was worth the RAM and the shipping I paid to send it to them! Was completely unexpected.
So ultimately, they mail items in a timely manner and in well protected shipping materials. If you have to return something they will tell you that they're going to give you little in return, but give you exactly what you would expect... Somewhat missleading.
I'm not sure if I'll ever do business with them again, but since they did give me a full refund I'd probably do it for a good deal.

I've ordered off and on from these guys for the last 4 years and never had a problem. Shipping has always been immediate and everything has comeas expected. Great prices, generally fair shipping, and great service- not much else you can do besides that!

I have been ordering from this company for years and have never been disappointed. This company has great prices, a user friendly website, and supper fast shipping. Product arrived and was just what I needed. Customer service is excellent.

I ordered 2 hard disk drives from TxMicro. They arrived before I expected them and they were in excellent condition. The price was very competitive. The drives worked without an issue.

I will consider them first when I am looking to purchase additional PC parts as needed. I rate them 5 out of 5 stars.

I have dealt with this store since 2003 (& 2 name changes) They have gone out of their way to locate some items for me that I could find nowhere else. When ever there has been any problem with any of my purchases the have made prompt exchanges or issued me a satisfactory "In Store" credit. They adhere to their Policies... and have done everything they have promised to to do... in their published policies... or aknowledged exceptions by word of mouth! I am proud to continue doing Busines with them... and have recommended them to collegues!

I have been a customer of TxMicro since 2000 and I have always received quality merchandise from them. I've even purchased items for my boss through TxMicro at a great reduction. They stand behind their products very well. When I need to upgrade my computer, find a replacement part, or just want a new component I go to TxMicro first, before going anywhere else, shipping is quick and I have never received a bad component from them ever. I tell all my friends and co-workers if they're looking for a new component for their computer look at TxMicro.com first before going anywhere else, for the best prices and also to find parts for older systems.

First off I have bin a custumer with this place for at least 3+ years or so. To read that comment about the dead power supply ect. I'm lost for words to comment that. This place has bin A+ for me. I have purchased all kinds of things from this place. Would have to say over 20 individual orders with multiple items on each order and am totally satisfied with everything about this place. Only 1 time I recieved some faulty harddrives, . Theese were clean pulls, I believe 5 out of 8 were bad. I didn't have any problems when I called about it. I sent them back so they could see for themselves what I got. That there was bad ones in the whole lot. I know they immeadiately took them off the site so no more got out the door and they exchanged me with some 9 gig refurbed seagates they had, which at the time was better than the 6 gig IBMs. Also had the new drives to my door in a couple days with out a hitch. Evan the few dollars it may of cost to ship back is really nothing anyway. For one the price was way lower than anywhere else at the time + I got new drives that were better than the others and would have cost more and they never charged extra for them + had them to my door with fast shipping so I really didn't get shut down on the builds I was doing back then. And the distance from Texas to michigan. To have something like that cleared up online buying that fast is damm good. I've dealt with a lot of places with things like that and the run arounds I've got. I would have to say I got total custumer service and fast action on the matter with out having to go through a pile of red tape on it. You don't get service like that from most of these places ya deal with. I thought I would bring this up so others don't take this place wrong. I thought I would mention this. I didn't come to this site to comment on Tx micro return issues. I came to this site to give a place credit for the past 3+ years of business I have done with them and comment on how happy I am with some of the things I have bought that are not evan computer related, like an electric Razor I bought, a RC controlled Toy, an in car combo cooler and food warmer item, a 22" Monitor that I hooked up like a TV set and the picture Quality I get out of it is awesome. and variuos other items that are not evan computer related at these incredible low prices that I use everyday. Also all the computer related stuff that is all top quality and low priced. A person can buy stuff off this site and resell it and make money off a lot of it as well. Also the times I have called it is nice to talk to the lady that answers the phone and can give ya all the info ya need and knows all the products ect, and just nice to talk to. All I can say with this site has bin good to me and would not afraid to buy anything from them. I would recomend to check them out, new stuff all the time. for the amount of stuff I have bought and I have not 1 thing I could complain about. It is very well put together and agin it is nice when ya can call a place and talk to someone thatis nice as well as knows what is going on. Ya just don't get that from most places that sell in high volumes and low prices. Again I must say I would disregard that comments posted with that powersupply shipping polocy nonsence. This is a top notch site website that will save ya a lot of money as well as they have a lot of stuff ya can buy and resell with there lowprices and quality stuff.

I ordered two 3.5" DVD R/W drives. One was defective but after informing them of this, they sent me a free replacement drive that worked fine. They also told me to dispose of the faulty drive so there was no return shipping or restocking fee.

I’ve been using this company for at least 3 years had one RMA and never had a problem. They make you feel like family. They have the fastest shipping. They just know what customer service is all about. This is my first store I shop at when looking for parts. Thanks for always doing me right…………Frank
