I purchased a desktop unit several years ago and have had a very good experience with it. My son is in need of a good laptop for college, so I feel confident that Velocity can deliver what we need.

My first Velocity desktop ran for 11 years and only needed repairs once. I'm just setting up its replacement now. If you want reliable hardware, delivered with no bloatware and a quality build you'd be hard pressed to do better than Velocity. The new computer may well outlive me, but if it doesn't, its replacdment will come from Velocity. I would never consider another manufacturer.

I’m a returning customer, purchased an overclocked Z-55 about seven years ago. Time to update my laptop and purchased a Raptor S55 15.6” Laptop, 9th Gen i7 processor, 32GB memory and 1TB Solid-State Drive at a cost of a little over $3000.00. After receiving the S55 I noticed a software problem and immediately contacted Velocity’s tech support. A registry thread in the software they provide was missing. They couldn’t help and told me I would have to contact Microsoft, you would think this being a brand new machine it should be Velocity’s responsibility. It became evident they would not help correcting a problem in a $3000.00 machine they had just delivered, so I took it upon myself to contact Microsoft.
After going through a Microsoft chat session I received a call from their technical department. Understand that if you do not have an ongoing paid support account they will want to charge you for their expertise. The first phone call with their technical assistant lasted almost 4 hours. Yes, four hours and the problem was not resolved. The Tech said he wanted to confer with others and would call back the next day. He returned the call and after another hour the problem was corrected.
Combining the calls from Velocity and Microsoft it took me over six hours to correct a fault in a brand new, straight out of the box, Velocity machine. Remember they preach every inch of their computers are checked before delivery. The machine speed is lackluster, the touchpad is poor and it takes a couple hours to recharge.
Take it for what it’s worth, if you’re reading this you’re an experienced computer person looking for an advanced machine. I for one will not be purchasing any machines in the future from Velocity.

I had good help & suggestions from Kevin. We have previously purchased through Velocity & have no complaints at all.

Tried most other brands over the last 30 years and switched to Velocity Micro so I could get exactly what I wanted. Happy with the student version desktops, laptops and gaming machines. Just purchased my second z55 with upgrades.

I just received my 4th Velocity Micro Computer, a Raptor SE.
The service that I received was fantastic.
The order, the build, the delivery and customer service throughout was second to none.
I heartily recommend Velocity Micro, and without any hesitation or reservation I can say that my 5th computer will from Velocity Micro.

I’ve been enjoying my new Signature 17 laptop for about a week now, and need to point out that it is one of the finest pieces of machinery I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. The quality of the materials, fit and finish, and overall usability are extraordinary! I also very much appreciated the system’s pre-configuration – it was literally ready-to-use right out of the box.

My only regret is that I didn’t buy a Velocity Micro product sooner!

I was going to get one computer but would need to customize it. Thankfully, I was directed to another that fit my needs without going nuts.

I had to enter my information in twice, but in between from ordering and payment it sent me to a 404 website, twice. I had to log in several times. Made me feel like this is not a secure site.

Computer would restart on it's own, even while I was working on it, sometimes less than 10 minutes would go by before restarting, other times a couple of hours. Started on Day 1 and even Hour 1. Can't say it was software that I added because it did it before I got into doing that. Did work with support trying to get it to work with no luck and with a lot of wasted time during my busy season. They did offer to do repairs on it but what I am going to do without a computer in the meantime. I run several small businesses and depend upon my computer every do so being without a computer for an unknown length of time wasn't acceptable for me. Have returned the computer and expect a full refund as it wasn't returned because that I didn't like the computer, it was returned because it was faulty. If I do get charged a restock fee for something that was faulty when I got it, then they might be getting a bill from me for all the time I spent on my own and with support trying to fix it.

I bought my computer 3 years ago on my sons recommendation. I have had no problems x a power supply issue and its still running great. So I bought one for my granddaughter.

I have had many custom computers over the years, spending thousands of dollars and replacing every few years in disappointment. When looking for a new company that I haven't used before, for the first time, I saw a category specifically targeting architecture and 3D rendering. After a number of online chats and tweaking the options offered, I soon received the best computer I ever had thus far. It exceeds my expectations with quality and product (out of the box brands have nothing) and the service (in home) was the deciding factor on taking a chance I do not regret.
I didn't buy this brand based on price (though in the target range of their competition) but needed quality and service which this offers. No regrets. The only thing I will end with is that it is a relief to speak to tech support on the other end and understand what is being said.

I purchased a high end PC and spent over $5,000. The 2 TB hard drive does not work. I have been ignored about this for months. Despite numerous emails, the firm has not sent me a working hard drive.
Working with Velocity had problems all along.
Instead of sending a replacement drive, I am given the run around.

Strictly a family "one computer at a time" user, yet this is my third straight purchase from Velocity Micro -- and my first for the next generation, one of my kids leaving home. Finding a company that makes an outstanding product and has straightforward, courteous, knowledgeable and no-hassle service is unheard of any more. In years of use, the only problem I ever had with a VM computer is a cooling fan on the processor falling off my first one. Fixed it with a sticky pad. Still running like the day it was made.

I've had my PC for about 10years bow and its going strong, and im getting another one soon. their friendly customer service is always there to help you through anything big or small.

I configured computer to my liking and purchased last night. Order no. 744869. But a confirmation was not sent to my email address; but I did receive an email form Dave wanting to know what I want to do with the computer I configured today via email. I sent an email asking that I have purchased one with credit card but had no reply. I heard such good things about about this company, but I don't know what's going on with my order???????

My 2nd Velocity Micros Laptop, because I need a 2nd one, the 1st one is still kicking **** after almost 4 years!!!

This is the 4th time in twice as many years that I've had the pleasure of consulting with Velocity Micro to satisfy the computer needs for myself, my friends, my family and my business colleagues. They're on point every time when they suggest a "tweak" here or there to improve a machine I'm configuring or to explain ways that I can save resources by utilizing the various components they install. If they keep doing what they do best, I'll keep coming back and so will the people I've referred.
I Can't say enough about the experience.

Hey guys/gals I bought my first vm computer like 5 years ago and it recently gave up due to my graphics card burning up my HDMI ports so in need of a new one with better stuff and I hope I can get this one financed I'm trying to build up my credit, I could pay it all in one go but this is a good start to my credit building I have started. Thanks hope it gets approved!

Bought my first Velocity Micro Desktop in 2011 and it is still in use today (2018). I have purchased at least 6 or 8 more machines from them personally and recommended dozens more to clients, friends, and family. Every one of them has been excellent.
