When contact was made on the first occasion, the operator was efficient and dealt with the
claim professionally. I would recommend Volvo car insurance.

The call handler on the initial call to report the accident was not very friendly but once it was established the accident was not my fault I had a good experience. I was particularly impressed by the customer service of the company that provided a hire car whilst mine was being repaired and overall, Volvo car insurance made a good effort to keep in touch and keep me informed of progress.

I have had an XC90 Volvo for the last 12 years, and I have had the car repaired by Rye Street on a few occasions. The last 2 times the service has been appalling, considering I pay near on £1000 for my insurance. On both occasions the car was returned with the work not completed, on the last occasion I spoke to numerous people at both the insurance company and Rye Street. Guess what they did not complete the work, when I asked them why was the bumper was not authorized by the insurance company. Which I found out this was a complete lie, although no one would admit it plus the additional work I asked for this was completely ignored.I have emails from Justin Crissell, I have spoken to Hannah, all very pleasant but did not do the work, which meant car had to go back for the bumper to be repaired.

Just to put insult to injury, my wife gets a call at 5pm on a Friday to say the car is ready but they can not deliver it. But we can come out to Stanstead to pick it up, when I was told on the Thursday they would deliver the cat on Saturday. I get to Stanstead and whoever got in the car they very kindly deposited mud from their shoes, what a great service.

You sit back and then realize I pay for this dreadful service, between the insurance company, Rye Street and Volvo I have no choice.

Plus there is no compensation, no I am really sorry, no one rings you to discuss the issue.

Between you all it is a closed shop, we the punters have no one to help, there are no alternatives. We have no choice other to use a very shoddy service having to deal with a bunch of incompetent people, who to be honest do not give a damn.

Even writing this feedback to you will not change anything, it is a closed shop so we the paying client have to just accept it.

I have sold my VoIvo, changed my insurance company who are not only useless but extremely expensive, and give you a rubbish service.

The claim handling started well and my car was collected in a reasonable time but not until two days after the accident. I did get an identical car to my own as well.
The repairs maybe took a bit longer than expected but perhaps the week of snow caused some delay. That wasnt communicated if it did.
The work was of a good standard and there was no quibbling over costs etc like with admiral so that was good.
The biggest issue is around the drop off of my car and collection Of The loan car. Mine was delivered to my work but the driver was uninsured to actually take back the loan car! I had no communication from Volvo about the collection until late that afternoon via email (this was on a Friday). This was to inform me they couldn't collect it until the following Wednesday! I was faced with having to leave a hire car on the roadside, for which I Am responsible, for 5 days! If I had been told the driver wasn't collecting I would of had them drop my car at home where the loan car would be 100% safe. I replied to the email saying it was unacceptably long but told that Was The soonest possible date. The person obviously didn't book this as they then contacted me on monday to say it would be Thursday. Ridiculous!
I'm writing this before Thursday so if the car gets damaged this will zero stars!!!

Too many companys involed with the clame you don't know who you are dealing with, even after 7 weeks some parts of my clame is still ongoing.

Very little communication from Volvo , the incident happened on 2/2/18 and dragged on until 22/5 /18 . We were kept almost incommunicado by Volvo.

I still do not have my car back from garage after weeks, due to argument between insurance company and repair shop.

Also insurance company has not been fighting claim properly.

I cannot praise Volvo insurance enough. All staff I dealt with extremely knowledgeable and helpful

The service from the Volvo insurance company was first rate but they employ Kindertons to manage the accident management service. I found Kindertons to be poor in managing the paper work for the replacement vehicle supplied to me and they used GDPR to explain why some of the paper work had been destroyed. I have provided Kindertons with duplicate paperwork but am still trying to resolve their issues.

It would of been 5 but maybe due to staff vacations or no insurance by third party it was difficult to contact someone who could make decisions
